I think it's probably a combination of two factors...she's trying to find her own calling in life and yes she's trying different things to figure out what she can excel at and hopefully make her parents proud...cuz all they seem to want is EXCELLENCE...in SOME field atleast but so far nothing has worked out for Meera.

Arjun's case was different...he knew he wanted to be a writer but that got shuttled to the side with one failure and after that he was just stumbling through jobs. Meera has probably never had a job, only done courses😆

Meera needs understanding and encouragement more than anything...and Abhi is the first person to give that to her so honestly and with so much compassion.

*Chandler style* I knowww😆...it's a total 180 for him...this show is all classy, slice of life in setup while that show was total TRP setup with the loud colors and characters.

I can't find any epi link now on YT but I saw a few epis on hotstar...ladki ka character was so dumb😆

I also loved the shot were water is sliding down the window, makes me miss monsoons:( Abhi was so content looking at it but lol he remembers the clothes getting wet 😆 and dashes off.

RS mentioned kismi toffee with the red wrapper. I had the exact same reaction as Meera bachpanwali toffee. Dint know you still get it:)

Meera is definitely the younger one...why else would she call Riya DI?😆

Oh that Kissme toffee...haha sameee mera bhi same reaction...it's been AGES since I saw it...mujhe bhi bachpan ki yaad aa gayi...lol I think they still use toffees as change in India, that is probably why Abhi had it...or maybe he just carries around candy to distribute to his cousins😆

But then Meera does know what she wants ..."Main bas Khush rehna chahti hoon"...😆 . Uska ka bas chale toh she can spend her whole life running behind a Butterfly or just be at the highest peak in Mysoorie ..or anything that makes her happy... 😳 .

I know it was a random Comparison with Arjun ...bt the whole thought of Meera doing numerous courses and her craving for Father's appreciation ...made me think abt the Arjun's case ..

and WORD abt Abhi being her Encouragement , someone who could just LISTEN to her ...

Oh man, I can't wait to catch up with these episodes!! :D

I've missed probably a week's worth of them due to exams/work. Worst timing too. Wish I had missed the other episodes where I was sort of questioning my interest in the show 😆

Anyway, from your post, I can tell I'll enjoy the episodes ^_^ I'm loving the simplicity of their bond as you mentioned. Friends first, and that too actual friends. There's no "spark" or "chemistry" or anything. It is genuine friendship and that is so nice to see between the leads :)

Really capturing my attention and even admiration all over again
