i also used to watch MATSH , it was my second fav show of the channel it aired on but wasnt obsessed with it or addicted to it like i was to BALH2 😆 Leads of MATSH had a good chemistry thats why that show worked, i used to watch a lot of ITV shows back then too. Honestly both matsh n balh2 got less butchered compared to 85% of other itv shows, matsh got off air in just 2 years and balh2 though it isnt that badly butchered in itv standards the show quality has down-graded a lot for some reason after they changed sets(more of the dragging track) i dont feel like watching the show anymore didnt even watch a epi since then 🤣whatever i know now is from insta posts/clips

Somebody had mentioned that after Monday reveal there will be another MU. which looks like coming true. Pihu looks already pissed at Ram after seeing her mom drunk. After seeing Ram shouting at Priya, she may lose it tomorrow and maybe some harsh words are waiting for him. I hope they stop this drag fest and move on to a better plot. The N-V-S saga has become so monotonous and I am fatigued watching Ram falling into their trap every single time!

I don't think it's the writers, if the same writers worked on the initial episodes. It's orders from the ph. I've read how really good writers are made to churn out trash in itv. One could blame them for selling out, but that's a personal choice, so not going there.

Daily shows are hard on everyone, but the degree of destruction of this show beats everything I've ever seen. It's deliberate and that's why it deserves utter contempt and condemnation, in my book, anyway.

I have seen only BALH 1 which is way good compared to this crap eventhough it was made a decade back. The leads had a better character arc there compared to this. Here there is no growth in the characters, their relationships. Focus is only on villians that ends up taking focus from the leads. The anger, frustration and angst that the leads showcase doesn’t match the situations. It looks like anything is ok to bring drama to the show. Ram, V who are shown as sophisticated and well brought up are shown to behave with 5 year old and Priya in a crassly manner. They literally treat Priya like trash in the Kapoor household pre and post leap. How are these behaviors normalized and the people who behave like this gets a clean chit?

I saw balh1 more or less regularly until the first leap, and sporadically kept tabs on it after I stopped watching. I wasn't madly impressed, much as I like Sakshi and Ram Kapoor. But now I have to admit that was way, wayyyy better than this pile of poop (pardon my French).
