I don't know why I feel that he somewhere at the back of the mind knows the that Pihu is his, but kind off suppressed that fact because of all the trauma. Now that he is not clutched so deep in all his emotions he feels a connection with her without acknowledging that fact.
When today he said tum uski maa ho mai baap.... He couldn't complete the sentence he stuttered. That makes me think that it is the trauma that is holding him back from connecting the dots.

I have been saying this yrr that Ram deep down knows pihu is his but he wont accept it until it comes from priya's own mouth. It was priya who told him that lie it has to be priya telling him pihu is his daughter. Even if brinda shows him DNA until priya will also nod at that agreeing with brinda he will look at priya questioningly until he gets answer from priya. Bcz priya had to give him that sip of poison now she has to give him the nectar of life closing the loop.
Also i think his stutter had to do with the fact too that it physically, emotionally and mentally pains him to even think that pihu is not his child let alone say it out loud. He so badly wants all of this to be a bad dream from which he wakes up and finds his wife and kid with him always. The fact that pihu is not his and the same person taking her away from him again kills him a little more each time. Pihu is basically a replacement for shivina and now he has her back in his life. So ofcourse he stuttered saying he is not the Dad, bcz that's the only role he actually knew how to play bcz of shivina which he hasn't got to play in the last 5 yrs until pihu came along making him feel important again bcz pihu was asking him to pamper her again in her own twisted way.
And now after playing a dad for a week he doesn't want this to end. When he told adi that he doesn't want pihu to leave adi said Krish won't like it. This is not about Priya staying or not staying bcz ram doesn't really mind priya staying in KM. It's about Krish not being ok with them staying at KM for Ram.
He is ready to accept priya and pihu even though he thinks Krish is the father which speaks volume. But every time he looks at Krish he stops himself getting angry at himself for doing exactly what he despises. An another man came and broke his family, he will not be the other man and to rightfully claim his family back priya needs to give him that right which she took from him 5 yrs ago.
