There is mens rea(intent and plan and circumstance) and actus rea (deliberated action that would harm a person) … these are all arguments… legal expert to me nahi hu, bus yahan ki actual experts se jo suni/padi …us se derive kar Rahi hu😆

Now, as far as priya knows, shivi accuses them of torture, ram believed it, brinda believed it, ram actually said that he would come and give witness wherever whenever however against priya to get shivi and his family justice….while krish kept pressuring for investigation as he knew that ram somewhere believed that priya didn’t do it and reminded him that priya is his family too and that he would be loosing out on his family too by letting priya take the blame(how ironic, he did lose it, however the situation😳)

Nandu actually threatened with a murder case and said that she would make ram hire best lawyers … now, it means that priya has both mens rea and actus rea and a witness( ram) that will make her a murderer actually and would have to serve a lifetime ya 10 yrs(or 14 yrs?)… that too in rigorous imprisonment… which would be harmful for the child. And she looses out access to the kid , she was ready to take consequences until n threatened her kid… it is basic parental instinct, protective of child against threat.

If it was just an accident, her mea culpa( self confession of guilt) leads to 2 years of normal imprisonment… relatively safer. She still would have access to kid until 6months with a lenient parole and visiting hours cause of pregnancy and breast feeding.

Actually she could have chosen to keep the child with her in the prison it self, but a guardian taking care of kid is anyway much better.

If in future, Priya and Ram reconcile, I don't want Pihu to remove sood from her name(I hope they go for the surname that represents both mom and dad).

This happened in season 1 too. Priya saved Ram from going to jail by taking the blame upon herself, got into the accident, everyone thought she died, she came back but decided to separate herself from Ram so as Ram does not have to wait for her while she spends 14 yrs in prison.

She gets pregnant. Raised Pihu alone for five yrs.Again met Ram. Egoistical Ram blamed Priya for everything....like realllyyyy?? She saved your ass from being prisoned till 14 yrs, separated herself from you so that you do not have to wait for her for 14 yrs.....and what Ram did? Pihu ka Custody case kardia. Har baar Priya ko taunt kia Ki voh Rajat ki dost hai. Rajat is a sweetheart btw. Rajat >>>>>>>>>>>Ram .

Aur bahot aaram se Pihu ka naam Pihu Sharma se Pihu Kapoor kar lia. Aur Priya isme bahot khush ho rahi thi. Even, apna book cafe kholte samay jab usne dekha ki uska naam Priya Sharma likha hai Priya Kapoor ki jagah toh voh udaas hogai. Like realllyy behen?????

I don't know why I feel that he somewhere at the back of the mind knows the that Pihu is his, but kind off suppressed that fact because of all the trauma. Now that he is not clutched so deep in all his emotions he feels a connection with her without acknowledging that fact.

When today he said tum uski maa ho mai baap.... He couldn't complete the sentence he stuttered. That makes me think that it is the trauma that is holding him back from connecting the dots.

Well he wants Priya for gulugulu session and thinks keeping Pihu would make Priya stay as well. He can tell his family that it was for Pihu as well. Our business man uses his brain only here 🤣

I felt the same. Ram is in defensive mode and in denial. He will be on a guilt trip once he knows the truth and understandably angry at Priya. He may turn cold and aloof to Priya which may be taken advantage of byV since the CVs cannot think of a plot without V.
