But what did Krish DO?

I saw most of the last episode, and I don't get this hate for Krish. He's really not done anything that's even half bad. He wants a chance with Priya--why not? He didn't pass on some info, I think someone said, but come on! Nobody is selfless. That doesn't take away from anything good he did, for whatever reason. Did I miss something significant that indicates creepiness?

(To digress a bit, it's so unrealistic that Krish even "liked" Priya, then helped her and hung around for 5 years...what, these tv guys have no natural urges? They just subsume those in unrequited lub? And what about between college and meeting up with R&P? He was a monk? I wish these people would flesh out characters.)

Nothing wrong in Krish wanting to propose, IMO. I put down the reactions to the crazy overprotectiveness fans feel towards the leads, thanks to experience with how third wheels turn toxic on itv. Hope that doesn't happen here, since there's enough crap going on.

Exactly, dear. All this time he believed in Priya, helped her in any way she allowed and did not go further. If he wants to be with her, that's fine.

After all, years had passed since college and the tragedy, Priya liked Krish in her youth, then he recognized her differently and was relatively close. It is natural that he wants such a woman for himself. Show me an idiot who wouldn't want an immensely loving but strong woman who becomes a real partner, not a rope around her neck or worse.

He hid some things, yes, but he did not enroll in the saints and never once allowed himself bad behavior with Priya (you know what I mean), but he could. We will always have time to declare him Satan, if anything. While it is worth breathing evenly

I have always been supportive of Krish from the beginning. As in I never found anything remotely negative about him. Even when the entire FD bashed him for just being Priya’s crush and him admitting he was attracted to her. What’s the harm in this? Don’t we get attracted to people around us? Be it classmates or colleagues? That doesn’t mean you want to pursue a relationship with them. Maybe if by some coincidence u happen to connect on a deeper level u might. But not otherwise. It was the same with Priya and Krish. Krish was a popular guy in college and like many girls Priya had a crush on him. Krish too being observant by nature found something attractive about the resilient and reserved Priya and admired her. But neither felt like acting on it coz it was just that. A fleeting feeling. When Priya Krish met again it was under different circumstances. She was a woman happily married to her husband and Krish was just an investigator. Since they got to work together they formed a friendship of sorts as they got to know each other better. Priya came to regard him as a friend and Krish too. Despite having developed feelings for her he kept them at bay as he knew she is a married woman who loves her husband dearly. Infact when Priya uttered that lie Krish had every right to be mad at her for dragging him into this. But yet he was understanding. Ever since he got to know she too had a crush on him in college he might have got that thought ki if I had stepped up and asked her out, she would be with me today. Again nothing wrong in that. He supported her like a friend and expected nothing in return. I do feel a little bad for him. There is nothing wrong if he wants to try his luck with Priya. That would seem logical too. Given she is no longer with Ram and shows no inclination of getting back with him. Even when he took pictures of Priya while she reunited with her family and was dancing poor guy got bashed 🤣 he was called a creep and what not! But it felt harmless to me. Even when he thought of proposing to her when she decided to leave it was after he got to know about Ram’s engagement. Had he tried before Ishaan spoke to him and told him how Ram is unhappy without Priya it would still be Ok. He seemed to be in a hurry to propose right after that which felt weird. I still hope he doesn’t turn negative but looking at EK shows I have little hope there. Even in the show DHTH that had similar track as BALH2 the third wheel is nice but towards the end he gets possessive for the heroine and becomes bad as per the story I read. I don’t want that with Krish. I wish Sandy was a little older. They could have paired her with Krish. Or they can introduce a new girl for him in the future. So that he is happy and RaYa fans are happy and Priya and Krish remain good friends forever ❤️

Why do audience even want Krish to play friends to both Ram n Pri, Ram is nobody to him n understandably so..

He is even ready to accept the kid of someone else , that's how much he is interested in Pri. Considering Ram n Pri r estranged with Pri having no intentions to get back with Ram , why can't he propose her?

I actually feel bad for him. Priya maligned his character along with hers, yet he stood by her unconditionally. When Ram n Pri were together, even in his internal monologues he never had the intention to seperate them, but now that they hv broken up , it only makes sense if he asks her out.

Why the hell would he try to reunite RaYa? Not everyone is stupid and mahaan like r leads ..

I actually like Krish’s character. He have been supportive to Priya and also very respectful. I wished makers showed Krish just as a friend than a love triangle guy. He is a better friend to Priya than Brinda, Vicky and Kunal is to Ram. Also Krish is that character who isnt scared and questions when needed. He questioned Ram for leaking the video. And as for Priya even though he never said sternly, he did ask Priya why did she do so as he knew she was wrong. And also how on earth will Krish know Priya promised Ram she will never drink champange with Ram thats why he is being bashed. Krish character can be much more than just a guy in one sided love. If the show had the initial days standard, he would have been Priya’s bestie and a brainy PI who would solve the case easily.

But regarding third angle is very true. They always are turned into monsters by the writers. Like Malini from imliee. She was a great third angle and then the writers did a brain transplant on her.

I think the only show I've watched with good third angles who were treated with respect and their characters never became evil caricatures was Kuch Rang Pyar Ke (S3 doesn't count) it had a great balance where in the third angle added some drama to the couple but never unrealistic or stupid

About Imlie heard a lot about Malini’s character. Never seen the show though. On Colors there was a show called Udaariyan and KVG was introduced as the second hero for the heroine. He was a nice character but later the makers turned him into psycho.

2 major differences w.r.t the third wheel in S1 & S2..

In S1 Rajat knew nothing about Priya's past, didn't even know her real name until way later. As soon as he knew about her past, he stepped back, but remained a steady solid friend. Rajat & Nuts characters will always be among my favorites of S1.

In S2, Krish knows everything, even how much Pri is still attached to Ram. So his proposal seems kind of pushy, also a whole lot of his dialogues, especially when he was introduced was bad and borderline creepy. Everyone felt bad for Rajat, but few will feel bad for Krish and that's because of the way the character has been written.

The second (and very major) factor in Krish bashing is the FD on chidiya..it's like they have all adopted Ram and take personal offence to anything/anyone that upsets Ram. Funny they never blame his own idiocy or poor decision making🤣
