Hi all: I understand Meera did something really bad and all of you hate her now. I was really sick and missed a few episodes. I can go back and watch them, but really can't take too much negativity now. I can understand Priya took the blame on her and did not let Ishaan's name come out. I am wondering what Meera did? The whole Sood family always sucked on Priya's blood and was too stupid overall. Could you please tell me what's Meera's role in this mess?

I always disliked Meeta--and Sara.

Apparently, Meera gave Mahendra Sood an alibi for the day Ram's dad was murdered.

Darling, I understand she covered for her dirty hubby on the day of the crime. In fact, everything began to snowball from this and led everyone, and poor Priya in particular, to what we see now.

Alas, but I'm with you, they have good inclinations, but what's the use of them if these ladies don't know how to fight for what's right? They only talk and teach about what they themselves are not capable of.

I dislike Meera more than Nandini ( Nandini lost her daughter at the hans of Soods ... seeing your child die is the most terrible thing that can happen to a mother)

Where as Meera killed her daughter Priya ( killing without shedding blood &with invisible wounds )

Both lost their children with their actions

Meera’s all those “love for Ram was fake !!!!!”

That lady is unbearable for me so do Sara who totally failed as a mom & a human being

It's sad, but you're right again, both killed their children, but Nandini, despite the games, is more open in her sins, she did not proclaim holiness and teaching to others, Priya, as loudly as Mira and Sara, her daughter, who even could not establish a connection with her child, entrusted him to a stranger, and this gave the very seed of aggression that destroyed poor Shivina, albeit unwittingly, in concern for her beloved aunt, who is more authority for him than his mother, and the so-called father

As a character, Nandini is far worse and far more dangerous. However, I personally dislike Meera a whole lot more, because of her psuedo 'goodness' and useless gyaan batoing. I'm watching early episodes, and I disliked her then without reason--with hindsight, I think I know why. She's so fake. I know the character wasn't meant to seem so, but she looks greedy and totally put-on, especially in her crazy Ram worship and her obsequiousness. (As does Sara.) Except for maybe 2 or 3 instances, I could never relate to Priya's great respect for her.

I did not like her embarrassing behaviour with Ram, because the vibe was SHE too actually wanted a son (well, nothing wrong with that, I guess, but it was always Ram over Priya.) Ghanta how her daughter was her pride. She sold out constantly. And she looks greedy with her bowing and scraping to somehow keep Ram as her 'son'(-in-law), no matter how her daughter was impacted. Plain disgusting. How dare she beg Ram (or Nandini or anyone) on Priya's behalf when Priya never would have?

But Meera isn't evil--more stupid and deluded, including being self-deluded. Nandini is a whole different level of manipulative, because she's so clever, such a master psychologist in how she plays people, and so convincing even when we, the audience, know she's lying. Besides the actress is simply miles better and so much more attractive to watch until the character becomes too much to take (and I'm not talking appearance here).

Agree but Shivi died , according to story at Soods hands

It totally destroyed the out look

Earlier Meera was just spineless now turned out to be manipulative of Ram & Priya

Even though Nandini is more evil , she isn’t a murder nor fo none of them in the Kapoor family is a murderer .

The “severity of crime “ that os very different

Many parents with love & care manipulate their children ,Meera as Priya rightfully told yesterday choose “ Criminal son in law Varun “ over “ Ram “, who loved Meera like her own.

It is as simple as that

I my son has relatives who are murderers & criminals , I will try to distance from them

“ A death changed a lot of things “
