Today, my heart actually goes out to the actors who have to enact such non-sensical, stupid plots with utmost conviction. We, as the audience are currently riled up, angry, and frustrated by seeing the toxic and negative plots for 20 mins, I can only imagine how hard it must for the actors, not just Nakuul and Disha but the entire supporting cast. So many retakes involved in getting the right emotion and it must be difficult to endure such negative tracks. Having seen Nakuul and Disha's fine performance till now, am sure they would have given their 100% even here. To top it all, shooting multiple episodes everyday all in the name of the constant churn, called ITV. They cannot ask for any story modifications because their hands are tied (before the PH and channel) so they do what they do best - put up a convincing performance that elicits the emotion out of the audience - be it love; disappointment; anger, shock etc. One day of negativity at workplace / home with colleagues or family members can affect us so much, I can only imagine how much healing / active detachment they all must be practicing right now to stay sane and remind themselves that they are actors at the end of the day! Am sure Nakuul and Disha didn't sign up for this track when they came onboard as Ram and Priya for BALH2! Alas, they have to endure it all. Of course they get paid for it, it's their bread and butter, but I cannot imagine the toll it takes on their emotional and mental health. Kudos to them, but extreme disappointment with the industry as a whole.
