true or great, I don't know. But in real life, love is very different. I remember when Meera maa explained Pri about understanding, space, respect, privacy, etc. more important than love, she was on point there.

Love is not pdas, or telling ILU always all the time, it is about respecting each other. Every individual spent their 20-30 years before falling in love, but after the water settles down in their hearts, then how the relationship works is much more important. In love, NEVER change who you are for ANYONE; what you are should be of utmost importance. Respect your OWN self first, then only you can respect your partner.

I completely agree with you, if there is no respect in love, integrity of personalities, readiness to give freedom, then there is no love.

Read The Alchemist if you haven't yet. My best friend told me many, many years ago to keep it by my bedside, and if I feel I am falling apart, she said to pick it up and read again.
