Priya was now busy texting Sara who was updating her about the happenings in the Sood Family, Ram was now attention deprived. They both decided to take a day off from roaming around, so that they could relax, but Ram got bored soon. “Priya” he called her lying on the bed, while Priya sat on her side with her back resting on the bedrest, “hmm” she hummed, “Priyaaaa…” he called again, “Hmmm?” she hummed again, he was irritated that she wasn’t giving any attention to him. “PRIYA!” he yelled, Priya jumped, “What is wrong with you? What happened?” she said startled, “nothing much, I am bored.” He said casually making her angry, “that’s why you yelled? Because you are bored? Wasn’t it your idea to sit and relax for a day?” she asked glaring, “yeah... well, I didn’t know I’d get bored, I can’t read the future, if I did, I wouldn’t have suggested” he said, “So this is your way to justify that you are wrong?” she asked, “Not exactly, you know what… let’s do something” he said taking his phone our and searching something in it, Priya shook her head “first you say you wanna take a day off, then you don’t allow me to text Sara di, then you say you’re bored and now you are into your phone… what do you want Mr. Kapoor?” she asked, “get ready” he said, “where are we going?” she asked, “Just get ready, there is no need to wear anything fancy, wear simple clothes” he said. She left the thought of asking more and did what he told her to do.

“Spa? Really?” she asked as he nodded excitedly, “Couple massage yaar. I have never tried that, I want too” he said, “Couple massage? What?” she asked confused, “haan, now come in, we’ll look into what they have” he said pulling her inside. They took the card, Priya gasped, “Mr. Kapoor? Don’t tell me you want to pay this much for a massage? Yeh mei bhi kar sakthi hoon” she said, “Kya kar sakthi ho?” he asked knowing that she didn’t realise what she said, “Yeh ki mai aapko massage kar sakthi hoon, aur who bhi free” she said still looking at the expensive rates, “Oh really?” he smirked, she looked at him only to understand what she told, she turned red, “I… I don’t mean that… umm… which package do you want?” she asked quickly, “Oh What about a simple thai massage, uh?” he asked, “Yeah okay… wait…” he looked at her, “what?” Priya looked a bit shy, “Umm... woh… we won’t be umm… fully… you know…” she fumbled and Ram understood her, “No, but you gotta wear that gown they’ll give, but during the massage, they’ll open the area they are going to massage.” He said, “So… wat? Uhh… Mr. Kapoor I am not sure…” she said, “It’s okay, I get it. Why don’t we get head massage and mani-pedi?” he asked, “You sound like a teenage girl from those Hollywood movies” she joked, “Whaat? I remember, Shivi used to pester me for a spa day, that’s where I learnt all this.” He said smiling, “Okay then… we can do that” Priya said. Soon a woman came and took them to a room, it was dim lit and soothing sounds was played, two women came and asked them to sit on the either chairs, they had head oil which had vanilla lavender scent. They sat and the woman started applying the oil and slowly massaging their hair. “Priya is this your first time?” he asked, “Yeah… Sara di and Maitreyi go, I don’t, you know…” she said, “Then I am glad, I am with you for your first, I like doing things with you, and when it’s your first time, that too when it’s with me, I feel happy.” He said giggling softly. “hmm… me too.” She replied, who was now enjoying her massage, it made her feel sleepy. She could hear Ram occasionally humming some song, murmuring something, or talking to her. Soon he fell asleep too, the massage was so good. After forty-five minutes, they woke up light headed, smiling. The women brought the items for a mani-pedi. As the women tried cleaning Priya’s legs, and applying cream she giggled, “What is up with you?” he asked, “actually, I feel ticklish.” She said sheepishly giggling lightly. Ram laughed, “Good to know where you’re ticklish” he said, she gave him a playful stern glare. “colour?” the woman asked, as their manicure pedicure was almost done, “Red” he said, “It suits her well” Priya smiled at him and nodded. The women painted her nails red. They soon reached their room, “wow, a day well spent Mr. Kapoor, I have to admit, your spa idea wasn’t so bad after all” she said stretching her legs. “Thank you for that, I rarely do hear my wife appreciating my ideas.” He said, she just shook her head. “Well, Priya one more thing?” she asked him what it was. “Dinner date?” he asked, she smiled, ‘okay! I want to have more of that amazing risotto.” She said, “Yeah… yaar, don’t tempt me now, wait for dinner” he said chuckling along with Priya.

Ram was waiting for her, he was wearing a black suit, looking charmingly dashing as usual. Priya came out, and for a moment he swore he stopped breathing. She was wearing a black dress, that hugged her body, making her curves look tantalizing, her hair left open, her cheeks slightly red, her lips rosy. He was openly checking her out. She saw him, looking hot, wide eyed looking at her, it was the first time she dressed for him, she wanted to, and is reaction was worth it, it made her feel special. “where are you lost Mr. Kapoor?” she asked smirking teasing him, “Oh I think you know where, gorgeous” he said smirking back holding her hand, “Let’s go” he took her to the car and drove away. “Whoa!!! Where are we? What is this?” she asked looking at the breath-taking sight in front of her, it was a open area, covered with lit candles and roses, it reminded her of their time in Ooty, that night, it was special and today it’ll be extra special. “M’lady” he said extending his hand, she took it and he took her to the table. “I am still in daze, Mr. Kapoor… and all this food, it looks so delicious, it’s like every time we go on a date, it seems to be better than the previous one” she said eyeing the yummy looking risotto. Ram laughed, “Well, I try my best… Okay now let’s eat, I am so hungry” he said, digging in his pasta. They had an amazing time eating food, feeding each other, and deserts were also over now. “I am gonna miss this food so much after we go back” she said, “Why? I can arrange…” she cut him, “Don’t tell me you will ship them all the way from Venice to India?” she said raising her eyebrows, “I am not that stupid, I meant I can arrange a Italian chef whenever you crave for this” he said, “Hmm… we’ll see about that later. For now, I want to enjoy this moment” she said closing her eyes feeling the cool breeze hitting her. “Dance with me?” he asked, standing up. She could suddenly hear violins playing, she couldn’t see the band, they were far, she smiled and took his hand, “Yes.”

He pulled her in, grabbed one of her hands and gently placed the other one on his shoulder. With his warm hand resting on her hip and making it tingle immensely, they swayed to the music. It felt like the only place they wanted to be. They were so close together and the music soothed their ears. He hummed so quietly like he didn't want her to hear but she was so close that she did. "Hmmm" Ram mumbled. Her eyes stuck to his eyes like glue and he sensed it, sharing the same intense as her. "Your hair smells like lavender" he said. She shivered, reveling in his own minty smell, feeling the soft fibers of his coat as she rested her head against his chest. As she did, he put his chin on her 'Lavender' fragrant hair. She noticed how fast her own breathing was. Ram's heart seemed to beat against the song. The beats of their heart danced fast, accelerating at the thought of how their bodies melted into each other so easily. They breathed as one, their heart beats as one and it felt as if they couldn't tell who was breathing or whose heart was whose. "Priya?" He spoke softly, "yes?" She whispered, he kept his lips next to her ears and then his husky voice said, "spin". They separated, his warm hand left her, tingles vanished, but his presence sent a feeling through her stomach. Their connected hands made a motion which allowed her to twirl, and when she did, his hand was under her back, supporting her as she dipped. She allowed gravity to take her head, relaxing her neck muscles before bringing her head back up, to be met with Ram's lips greeting her own in a kiss. Her lips were plump like a bed of roses, red and soft like the petals of one. He kissed her slowly and gently while her hand traced his jawline and back of neck. All the pent-up feelings and emotions exploded in their kiss. The soft kiss soon turned to a passionate one, she tugged his hair while he caressed her back. They longed for more but soon broke the kiss as they were breathless, he rested his forehead on hers, “I love you Priya. I really do, I know we made a deal we wouldn’t, but I can’t take it anymore...” he spoke she silenced him by keeping her finger on his slightly swollen lips, “I love you Mr. Kapoor” she said, Ram’s heart just jumped, “wait no...” she said making his face fall instantly, “I love you, Ram” she said again, he sighed in relief, and engulfed her into a hug, keeping her close to him tightly, and she was not gonna let go. “Priya, I am so happy, you made me so happy, I always thought this will be just one-sided love, and I will have to deal with alone again, but you reciprocating what I feel, man! I am just... it’s all so euphoric. I literally don’t know how to contain all this in me now, it still feels like a dream.” He spoke still in embrace, “A dream I never wanna wake up from” she said, sobbing lightly, “Priya? Ro rahi ho?” he asked cupping her face, he took a tissue and wiped her tears, “tissue tissue pe hota hai rone wale ka naam” he said, she broke into a laugh, remembering their encounter that seemed ages ago, “pehli baar koi mere joke pe hasa hai” he said laughing along with her, “bohot hi ganda joke tha par mujhe hassi aiee” she said playing along with him, “isliye toh humne shaadi ki” he said still laughing, Ram looked her happy face, “from no chance to I love you... we have come a long way, and it will go on forever” he said, she grinned. He pulled back, and walked a bit away from her opening his arms yelling “I love you Priya!”, she rolled her eyes, and chuckled “you want me to run to you? Seriously?” she asked, “Come on don’t ruin the moment. Mei tumhara hero hoon aur tum meri, aur yeh humari kahani hai. I am gonna tell it again. I love you Priya...” he said smiling widely. Priya laughed and did what he wanted, she ran to him and hugged him, while he lifted her lightly. “you are so cute” she said pecking his cheeks, Ram blushed, “I know” he said scratching the back of his neck, Priya raised her eyebrows, “I mean... you are too” he said sheepishly, she just shook her head and chuckled... “so?” she asked, “so?” he asked back, “What now?” she asked again, “umm... what now?” he asked back, “Mr. Kapoor, stop repeating my words...” she said, “woh, I am not able to understand what you want to say” he said, “Oh... I mean, now what do we do? I don’t want things to get awkward? Do we tell everyone? I don’t know... This is all new for me, I mean you with you I meant, will they even believe that I love you too? So many questions running in my head” he cut her, “Priya... breathe... calm down... let’s not think about that now, let’s just enjoy this moment. Okay?” she mumbled a yes in a low tone. “Now do I also have to say cheesy stuff like you do?” she asked, He looked at her open mouthed, “I see, you are asking permission for this uh, you don’t ask permission before taunting me, but for this you ask. Priya tum ajeeb ho” he said, she chuckled, “Mai ajeeb hoon? Mr. Kapoor, aap weird hai.” She said, “kon Mr. Kapoor?” he asked, “Oh ho, give me time. I can’t just suddenly switch, thoda waqt lagega” she said shrugging, “Take all the time, gorgeous, because you and me are in this forever” he said smiling widely. “when did you know?” she asked him, he wrapped his arm around her shoulder, walking, “Priya, I guess I have been falling for you from way before, maybe from my birthday you could say... the first time I said it was during that accident, I thought I said it at the heat of the moment, and then I understood, I really did love you, and then each day it was getting stronger and stronger. What about you?” She looked at him shocked, she didn’t know that at all, “Actually, I don’t know properly, about I do know that I understood my feelings for you after our trip to Ooty, and it increased every day, and yesterday, during lunch, after the scuba diving, I realised I love you” she said, “yesterday? You realised it just yesterday?” he asked taken back a little, “Calm down, you know, how bad I am in this love-feelings and all, so ...” he nodded his head, “tum toh Priya ho, but whatever, we are in love now, Ooohh saying that sounds weird but nice” he said, she smiled, “By the way, we should say this to Bri, you know because she roots for us, and she’ll be disappointed if we don’t.” he said, “Hmm... okay, we should. We should also prepare ourselves for all the teasings.” She joked. “I love you, and I am gonna say this again and again, because I want to, and you can’t stop me” he said. “I won’t because I love you too” she said hugging him, he pulled her closer, taking her for another kiss, fireworks bursting right on time. “It feels like a movie” she chuckling in between kissing him, “It’s our life” he said kissing her again. And the scene was just perfect, two people madly in love kissing in the streets of Venice while fireworks in the background, the world around them disappeared, it was just them and their moment.
