Anyways, Kareena will have to take 7 rebirths to match Ranbir's acting in Barfi. I am not denying that he has indeed played the same manchild roles over and over but a simple act like that in WUS is something a young Kareena could never do. You say overacting I hear Kareena.

They both are great actors

Maybe one edges out the other slightly as an actor, but in the end both have achieved exactly what they set out to, and done it fully. Ranbir’s passion for cinema and the craft itself is rare,,the way he talks about films and dives deep into understanding his characters shows how differently he views acting. During the ADHM interviews, when Anushka was going on about her preparation, Ranbir just laughed and said there wasn’t much to prepare for in ADHM anyway. The commercial stuff comes naturally to him, he doesn’t need to work hard for those… it’s the artistic, layered roles where he truly challenges himself.

Kareena always aimed to be more of a star than an actor, and honestly, there hasn’t been a bigger cultural icon since 2000 than her. An exceptional actress too, but that’s probably expected when you’re born a Kapoor.

Ranbir that should not even be in discussion.
