Where are we heading? Balh to kuch bi nahi lagta?

Disclaimer: This seems long one, but is a quick read!

Just realised we are heading to 130 episodes by this week.

Sach kahu tho, at this point…

I feel nothing about this show … I might appreciate the actors who are doing the scenes, but as a show, nope… nothing nada!… may be it gets better from here?🤷‍♀️ I don’t know…

I still feel pri is all gaga but is not living up to it and ram is all gayo but is not living up to it🤣, the same feeling I had 80 epis ago.

Anyone here feeling the same?

I got some concussion 🤕 and since then, I am watching this show like an optimistic idiot…

Yes,I was optimistic that something is going to shift , something is going to make these two face each other, something is going to mesh their living and their living principles entwine, something, something, remotely something will make this “Shaadi ke Baad” phase engaging, if not entertaining! It was, I think good until a point… may be diwali? 🤷‍♀️

Not now,though!

I wasn’t expecting full on romance, or even for leads chipkoing all the time… falling in eo’s arms that the camera does 360 pans and zooms…nah.. if they were to be there, I would be hysterically laughing 😂

And it felt fresh just for that fact…😊 fl having daddy issues and ml having mommy issues tropes exist… but it felt different!

In fact this itv show made the FL for what she is… other wise we all had to see the cinematic chunni lehars and flowers se FL ki focus shift hone wali scenes…😆 here , I saw a determination and distinctive emptiness in FL’s eyes , that didn’t bog down to social pressures and her words cutting ,yet laced with care as if she is carving her own cake of life!

In the first episode, the ML had tears in his eyes, baarish loving banda and was swallowing pride and expectations for his family, which typical fl’s do in itv😆 you call me a hypocrite for this comparison…..but broken heart men are usually Devdas or Arjun reddy according to mainstream , it actually felt refreshing that there is guy who held on to his core , and is actually represented as a successful bread winner of the family… occupation regardless!

And the concept felt familiar… Arranged circumstancial marriage… turning into a Marriage… in its own way!

All the things that kept me, and many of us going… are not there anymore… caricatures of the initially adored and resented characters are moving through the situational templates…

and people, which includes me, are fighting reg., who is right and who is wrong… as if p & r are real life people and they need our defence otherwise they will wipe out 😆

They are written that way and the actors act that way, why are we forgetting this?

Also, our edt’s, though filling… what are we discussing? About the show?… we are going in tangents and circles … right now, we are at 80’s pages… of which may be we spoke about balh in maybe 20-25 pages?🤭

We are pulling our experiences and preferences and personal thoughts regarding a lot of other things in comparison to the props in the show… not the show/ plot…

that is how numb we became towards the plot🤪

We outgrew certain shows and situations….and wanted something better, therefore engage with the show and each other… but show se jo expectation hai, wo Milne se nahi rahi , so we’re going balh to bhel to blah 😑 to bleh …🤣now…

We are comparing current situations and show to the ones we processed and outgrew…☺️

Imagine someone who is a painkiller addict, he constantly seeks pain to get his hit… coz he is already numb to default level of pain, so he can’t engage with it… so now he tries to compare burn to stab to cut to itch to deep bruise… we are currently there😵‍💫

if you guy’s resonated/ reasoned / feel restless/ or just randomly indifferent like me… please comment about how you feel too!

Dear cvs, I know you have handled wonderful shows before this, but this is not what we want from this show, by any means! I don’t know if you read or not, but if you really do… please observe🧐…there is indifference growing amongst the audiences towards the plot, irrespective of actors’ potential🙈

Well that is a nice question. If I may say...we began with Priya as female lead to Vedika as female lead for Ram Kapoor. At least that is what I felt till couple of episodes back. After that I didnt watch because I wanted to see Ram and Priya's love story.

I didn’t see the show till RAYA got married. But I had been hooked to the show since then because I wanted to watch that slow burn establish between the characters. Since then till now… all we get is RAYA in bits and pieces— and honestly, those bits and pieces are too good! They are! Like that recent hand holding scene and even that stiching the button scene. But if we look at the ratio, the percentage of these scenes alone is lesser than the sub-plots and scenes that involve vicious planning of vamps or the melodrama of sood family… none of which we are interested in!

Like for now, my main issue is with Akki. We have Ram, he visits his sasural… stays there, eats there, gets pampered and loves it all without any drama. Akki on the other hand is making so much fuss for staying just two nights at his sasural… I know it’s the “build-up” for the fiasco he’ll create when it comes to Nandu demanding him to be ghar jamai but still what is the need to show him as a typical Raja beta breed of boy to just stretch the plot…. And shovi, being immature and childish in the way she is making Akki stay at her home. Why on earth are they even getting so much screen-space. Just go away to sood house and don’t show your non-sense selves on screen for many many episodes.

As I previously mentioned this too… I don’t have any big issue with Nandu creating those little problems in Priya’s life, that’s a reality many of us see our moms facing in real life too. But vedu ka plot and character change I still don’t understand or want to watch. Dafa karo isse bhi.

Honestly, I feel right now the show is at a stagnant point… and the CVs need to push harder to make the plot seem interesting… give us more of what we want— RAYA… and less of what they are giving us— useless drama of side characters.

Slow burn is okay but thoda speed up karo bhai! Ab tak they haven’t even had one accidental intimate scene. Ofcourse as you mentioned, I wouldn’t want them sticking around all the time, no cringey romance. But thoda Kuch toh do. Aur hatao yeh vedu pedu, Akki makki, shivina kivina ko!

But ya I am holding onto some semblance of hope for the sake of RAYA and I’ll try doing that till the CVs realise they are feeding us more trash and less good food! And then my soul will be happy the day it’s all RAYA and no extra-business. So fingers crossed hoping for that day to come on our tv screens soon, till then let’s hope that EK and CVs see some light

this show has been a roller-coaster so far 😆 like it started with a bang then the pre-marriage annulment thingy a bit ehhhh n then they got married finally but then panner n prawn drama it was going down slow, but then started to pick up again with pre-diwali n diwali track n it was again going up their date n all that n then it goes down again, ram's bday being dragged n then bam baarish wala scene starts rising agani, then raya's genuine hug it goes up again, then anjali drama boom goes bohot down, vedu drama continues going down n down n then accident ram says I love you bam goes up again, continues going up then comes naagin vedika, kachori kaand n what not starts going down again. Pata nahi yeh serial hai ya heartbeat machine, up and down up and down, but right now its going seriously downhill cause of vedu drama pleaseeeeeee end her track oh gosh!

Infact I was able to move on from a very Favourite show of mine last year as BALH2 had started by then & it looked really Gooood.

But Now, I think I'm just sticking here as an optimistic person + person who loves to see these Actors act.

If the Plot could be tightened a little more, I think the show would become Great again.

Ekta Maata - It's high time you step in to check what's happening with another Season 2 of yours before your so-called trusted Team ruins another show for you 🙏

Yes that's it that's what I have been trying to say to all of you! If you don't like it don't watch it simple nahi hai ye! I shifted to balh for krpkab

That's Ekta shows for you. Her content would look great while it starts but for trps she ruins the shows with too many villains. You'll lose interest after a point of time, without a doubt

But her shows run for years, right? This is my first EK show. Thanks to her, I won’t spend anymore time on her shows, web series or movies
