Thank you for the support guys. Please excuse my mistakes,this is the first time I'm writing a story. Do comment and share your views which will help me to rectify my mistakes.

Part 11

After getting down from the podium, ram went and stood near a window in the corner with a forlorn look. Priya and his friends followed him, trying to know his sudden silence. They patiently waited for him to speak. After few minutes of silence, bri can't control herself anymore so she asked

Brindha: kya hua Jaan. What are you thinking? Why is this forlorn look in your eyes.

Priya silently absorbed the conversation she loved brindha more because when it comes to Ram's feeling she will become his mother hen.she know Ram needed Brindha now more than her, she respected that and took a step back.

Ram hugged brindha and started crying more. Everyone know these were the emotions Ram had kept inside his heart by penting it up. So bri allowed him to cry,while Kunal was holding Ram's one hand,vik was was rubbing Ram's back while adi was patting Ram's head. Any wife would feel left out or jealous but what Priya truly felt was peace. Her husband is in safe hands, she know they were the one's who brought him to this place holding his hands like a father,mother, siblings and friends. Priya know Ram struggled more than her and also more than he is letting know. Because Priya can understand the feeling of unwanted,as she was made to feel that by her own father. Other than her father, everyone in her family truly loved and adored her. They have spent so many days without a proper 3 meals a day,but they never felt lonely as the love between them helped to overcome that situation. But in Ram's case even when everything is placed in gold platter,he had not gotten the love he earned. If it was someone who was into materialistic love,they would have enjoyed all these name,fame like no tomorrow. But here is her husband who is one of the world's richest man, gets happy with home cooked meal,teasing by his friends, his favourite pastry for dessert, getting wet in rain. She suddenly felt the urge save him from this ruthless world. He deserved better.

The constant indifference shown to him by his family had led him to a dark pit,which kept him surviving from that dark pit was the love he got from his friends like a light at the end of the tunnel.

Her respect and love for these guys only kept increasing in her heart the more she came to know about them.

Priya came out her thoughts when ram started speaking

Ram: Bri Today I'm very happy

Brindha : we know Jaan

Ram: shivi came and fed me the cake bri

Brindha smiled nodding her head in yes.

Ram: aur shubu neh toh thank you Bhai bola woh bhi with a smile.

Brindha smiled seeing him getting emotional and happy for a small matter because according to bri Ram deserved more than this.

Ram: I don't know what I would have done if you guys were not there for me. I may not be said this often but I love you guys so much. You all are my lifelines. I will live happily without any fame, property,money if you guys are with me. Thanks for saving me from the dark pit I was in, if your love wasn't there then I would have never survived from that dark pit.

His words made Priya little shocked as he just said her thoughts out and loud.

After hearing his confession, bri hugged him tightly followed by adi, vik and Kunal. Seeing them having their moment Priya decided to give them their privacy. So she turned to go , but was stopped by a tight hold in her right hand,she know without seeing it's her husband's hold .she turned to see her husband, he silently asked her not go through his eyes. Priya nodded her head and was going stand but was pulled in a sudden hug and before she know Priya was also included in the group hug as bri and ram held her tightly.

Now she felt peace, finally she was not alone, she is having friends who will not think before risking their lives for this friendship. Adi,vik,Kunal,bri,pri and Ram were busy in their group hug, what they don't know was, tears flowing from two pairs of eyes who witnessed everything silently.

Shivi who came in search of Priya, stood still listening to their conversation and shubu who came following shivi to talk to her also stood still near his sister.

Shubu side hugged his sister and took her to a room. He gave her water and asked to relax.

Shivi: we were only hurting Bhai all this while.He gave us everything we need. Infact he married a stranger for my happiness. He never thought about securing his life as he always kept us his priority due to his love for us. Even today he is feeling happy because I fed him a piece of cake.seriously he can buy anything in this world within a minute but he gets happy because I fed him. Why did mom always tells as he will forget us once he is married.why did mom said only bad things about him to us.

Shubham: Even I was thinking the same shivi. Why we never saw him as our brother. Why mom always showed us, Ram bhai in bad light.

Shivi: I'm not going to listen to mom anymore. Shubu you know now I'm living a peaceful life. Don't mistake me shubu but your birthday party was pretty boring with unknown faces, I enjoyed it only because of Ram bhai ,his friends and akki's family. You know we celebrated Ram bhai birthday for two days nothing extravagant just us family. Whenever I think of that celebration , a happiness appears in my heart. I asked sorry for my misbehaviour to Bhai. That was the night I slept peacefully shubu. I don't know why I'm saying this but surely I will make it up for ram bhai. Please don't hurt him atleast for my sake.

Saying this shivi left shubu in thoughts.

Shubu can now little bit understand the depth with which shivi talked.

He decided that he won't distrub Ram's life with any problem and to give the respect he deserved . This is the least he could do for him.

Everyone had their dinner together and went to their home as the party came to an end with an emotional note for others while on angry note for nandhini,mama and mami.

After returning to their room, Priya went to freshen up while Ram stood at their balcony starring blankly at the sky. Priya who came after changing her dress saw him standing in the cold. So she took a blanket and went near Ram and wrapped it around him which made Ram to come out of his thoughts.

Priya: I want to say you something.

Ram: Tell me priya. There is no need to ask permission.

Priya: I'm sorry

Ram looked at her with confusion,while Priya continued

Priya: I shouldn't have snapped at mom.

Ram: it's fine Priya. I understand,

Priya: No Mr.Kapoor,I can't snap at her at any situation as she is our elder. I always keep my temper in check but now...

She didn't complete her words

Ram: Now you can't control yourself when it comes to me right.

She nodded at him looking at the floor.

Ram held her chin and made her look

at him.

Ram: priya, in my life time, this is the first time I snapped at mom. I know she will misunderstand me for this but still I will do it again if the same thing happens again without a second thought. You know priya i learnt this from you and admired you for that. You are fiercely protective of your loved one,you always stood up for them without thinking twice, if they were right in their stand. Till now I haven't stood up for anyone Priya even for my friends as I thought my silence will make the matter better but now understood sometimes we have to stand up for them. So it's fine,there is no need for you to feel guilty. We will face it anything together.

Priya nodded with little smile.

Seeing her rubbing both the hands in cold, he dragged her into his blanket which made her startled at first,then smiled sensing her husband's arm around her, she too huged him while her husband wrapped the single blanket around them securely.

Priya looked up at him while hugging him, sensing her,he looked down to find her smiling at him. He smiled and placed a wet kiss on her forehead which made her to hug him tightly. He smiled at her innocence and thought to tease her

Ram: kya biwi

She got shocked listening to the word biwi and came little out of the hug

Priya: biwi?

Ram: haan, you are my wife right?

Priya nodded little confused,

Ram: so I will call you biwi whenever I want, I chose this name as i want to call you something endearing at the same time no one can use it.

Priya smiled seeing his childishness,

While Ram continued

Ram: but I also know that you won't be comfortable with me calling biwi infront of others, so I will call you only in our own space. This will be our own little secret.

Priya adored him for always thinking about the other person's comfortability and happiness over his.

Ram: leave all this, first answer my question

Priya nodded

Ram: If you blush so much for this small kiss, what will you do in future biwiiii..

Priya looked at him with her mouth open..while he winked at her.

That's it she turned the deepest shade of red which made ram to laugh throwing his head back. She can't handle his teasing as she felt very shy, so she hugged him tightly and buried her face into his chest.

Ram saw the refreshingly innocent side of her and got happy as he is the only one who got to see this side of her, otherwise everyone thought her as a strong independent women.

He tightened the hug and kissed the side of her head.

They stood in that position,only God knows how much time.

That's when ram saw a shooting star, so he immediately made Priya to look at the star and make a wish.

Priya didn't believe in these shooting star and stuff,she always got irritated when her sisters ask her to make a wish and till now she never made any wish.

But this time,the innocence in Ram's face and his words made her to make a wish. She wished for his happiness while he made a wish for her happiness. After making the wish both smiled looking at eachother. After sometime Priya asked ram to change his dress and come as it is getting late.

He nodded and went to freshen up.

When he came out after freshening up, saw his wife sleeping in an uncomfortable position. He smiled thinking she slept while waiting for him. He went near her and made her lay in a comfortable position without waking her up and then went to sleep on his side after turning the AC and lights off. He didn't know when he slept holding her hand while looking at her..

Ah I'm so glad Shivi finally realised what a 'big' sacrifice Ram did by marrying a stranger. I always wanted to see this. They've taken so lightly in the show.
