The most annoying thing is the confusing, weak and indecisive characterization of Ram. What are the writers trying to prove. Adi is much more smarter than Ram by the way he talks and thinks. Does Ram still love Vedika. If so, that will help Priya to decide what she wants. Priya who is shown as strong and smart is also starting to be shown as confused, hope this is temporary.

Maybe I will watch tomorrow’s episode to see where this is going and will stop watching until the story line gets better. I can’t bear this dumb melodrama.

Don’t think it was dumb. May be you are being too judgemental. Agree Adi thinks smartly than Ram but isnt he the same Adi who until few days back hated Priya for being rude and taunting him. Everything takes its own time to shape up. It’s ultimately your choice if you wanna give up or trust the characters but nothing was shown illogical.

These days phones have serious network issues. You just can’t hear anything most of the times. Ram isn’t indecisive. Hence this didn’t come across as something illogical. Ram is just unable to decide when to share his past with Priya, majorly coz now his past is living in his house and he has developed some soft corner for Priya. Priya already told Ram that she isn’t interested in knowing about his past. Also Ram never expected that Vedika’s chapter might open after his marriage this way. He’s clueless plus he’s already scared of how Priya will respond when she gets to know of Rams past especially when she has come to know Vedika and Shashi so well. Also, I don’t think Priya seems to be losing any logic or being out of character. How did u jump to that??🙄🤔 Priya is still that strong and mature girl but she just can’t read everyone’s mind. Nandini too isn’t able to identify what’s going on in Vedu’s mind then how can she? Only Shashi n Neeraj knows what is Vedu up to now. She has always thought Vedu n Ram to be very close friends just like Brinda and the gang. Hence, when in trouble she would help Vedu. Plus she also saw Shashi mistreating Vedu during the Diwali shopping scene. Also Vedu triggered Priya spot on to ignite her feminism by questioning her about her parents breakup at Neeraj’s insistence. Neeraj knows Priya’s weaknesses too well and he’s taking full advantage of those. He knows very well that any slight act of violence will trigger Priya to stand against Shashi and support Vedu and let her stay home. How more logical you wanna get now????

May be being irrational is the new logic.

But Ram doesn't want to celebrate his birthday. I thought he would be whining "Aaj mera birthday hai yaar" munching cupcakes.

It’s not being about mind reading, it is the characters shown as lacking common sense.

Priya being strong, mature, well read who cannot understand when hints are thrown at her face about Ram- Vedika's relationship. Maybe she understands but doesn’t care. Ram being mature business man but behaves like an immature teenager. This is not being judgmental, just how I am perceiving the show. It doesn’t make any sense to me when the characters are shown conflicting their own characterizations.

By Ram’s character, I also think Ram would love to celebrate his birthday with lot of pomp & show .🥳

I think, It’s just Nandini’s justification to not celebrate Ram’s birthday.

Going by the conversation ram and priya had on the bench during Diwali segment I don't think so that celebrating birthday in a grand way is ram. Because since his childhood no one actually cared enough to do that and children get used to these things and later when they grow up for someone like Ram to start celebrating would have meant an insulting slap to Nandini and his siblings. So in my pov I think Ram would prefer not celebrating and being respectful to Nandini even if he wants to.

In Ram's mind he and his happiness are just not important enough to actually have any meaning. And for him to openly saying "I want you guys to celebrate my birthday" would mean he is putting a condition on his love, which he would never do even subconsciously bcz of his fear of losing family.

In his heart he already knows that Nandini doesn't love him but sympathises with him and same goes for shivi and shubham. And no person would want a pity party. And somewhere I'm glad that he doesn't ask for a party because that would mean him degrading himself even more in front of these two faced b*****s.

But now as Priya and her family have excepted ram with open hearts, they even did his grah pravesh, I'm sure they will celebrate his birthday maybe not in a grand way but in a meaningful way to stick with him for a lifetime. I don't want them to over do it but just enough to make him realise that he can be happy too, it's not a crime and his happiness is important enough to some people that they show it to him in little ways.😌

You know I understand where you are coming from. Seeing priya as someone who is not afraid to speak her mind and who makes concious, practice and logical decisions going quiet in vedika's drama as someone who doesn't have opinions and someone who is not picking on hints is tough. I think you are only seeing one side of the coin in both Raya cases and I have my theories for both of them.

You know priya has been very practical untill now in vedika's case as she was helping a human in the hour of need and as ram said to her she is only here untill she goes back to her husband. Priya just doesn't know that vedika's situation is all fake and she can go back whenever she wants.

Besides as Priya said to Ram in cafe that vedika is not a concern between them for her and creating a scene with Ram about vedika would only give power and importance to vedika which Priya doesn't want. Priya creating a scene is exactly what vedika wanted and needed to create a edge between Raya but priya's nonchalant behavior to vedika and her situation has been the saving grace for Priya and exactly what's making vedika act out her true colours. Vedika is acting out because she knows she doesn't have a lot of time on her hands and in her haste she will make mistakes which will make Priya realise that vedika can't be trusted but before she realises that priya's reaction to vedika's situation will/should be emotional not practical as VeRaj are targeting priya's soft corner (abusive marriage) which will be hitting too close the the home for Priya. And in all this she will be behaving illogical before she comes to her senses.

Also priya not realising ram - vedika's past can have three reasons

1 denial as she doesn't want situation to get awkward

2 she wants Ram to come clean and verbalise

3 it's a build up for upcoming track ( priya realising vedika's intentions for Ram and their past coming into her knowledge will help put things into perspective for her as in her feelings for Ram )

To me Ram not saying anything to Priya also have two reasons

1 he's afraid of priya's reaction ( in past he didn't care but now he feels for her so he's afraid what if she leaves him as she said in the cafe that she will step aside and he doesn't want that now)

2 he's afraid of priya's reaction ( or lack thereof- in his head maybe he thinks what if Priya didn't react at all it will confirm to him that she doesn't take this marriage seriously and it will be heart breaking for him as she's already not reacting to having vedika in their home)

He's so stuck between these two senarios that he's not able to tell her the truth. He wants to prolong it so that he gets to live in the world that he has created with Priya.

Priya has unknowingly become his happy place and him conciously disbalancing it will be difficult for Ram. So I don't think he's being immature he's being human who is in love but does know it yet.

I hope I an making some sense to you all.

Also did anyone noticed sandy and shashi's scene in tonight's episode. Idk why but that scene looked to me as an official approval of shashi for Sid to go after sandy. Creepy😵

I think now Sid will be faking his love for sandy so that they can take advantage of Ram as now ram has started to see sandy as his sister.🤷

I have one question- what would have Ram done if Priya stood strong and denied having Vedika in the house? Any practical or fun answers?

One possibility is Priya has understood Ram-Vedika relationship already but keeping quiet due to the promise she gave to Ram. She might be observing them and will stay quiet until absolutely necessary.

I feel Ram is still in denial about his feelings for Vedika. He still thinks he is in love with Vedika even though he has started to care for Priya. I think Ram is also at fault for some of Vedika’s actions like giving signals/actions to her that he is madly in love with her. He is a grown up man who should take responsibility for his actions, I felt some things Shashi said was correct.it is equally disgusting that Ram behaves like a love lorn puppy for Vedika in front of Shashi.Usually mature men don’t behave like this.
