Don't change Priya. Don't change her character or be consistent with the change. Don't change her looks, it's very much part of her.

The simple Kurta pants, scarf and simple makeup was very true to Priya as a person. Priya's aversion to makeup and dressup was very part of Priya's character sketch!

Yes she might change a bit post the marriage under Ram's influence and the difference in her emotion situation and lifestyle. But this total look change for girls post shaadi is most cringey cliche thing ever and it needs to stop.

And there are people who comment change Priya's look everywhere! God bless you and your mentality that women is eventually eyecandy and her worth comes from looks and clothes! Yuck!

If Priya chooses to dress up we should understand that shift in her character in the right pace with the story.

Most shows have rich people in blingy sarees and loud makeup and heavy jewelery sitting at home. Do you picturise Nitha Ambani doing that? Rich people would be wearing comfortable simple clothes at home (yes they might be expensive)

Priya glowing up for a function is pretty cool. But I would faint if I see Priya with a truckload of contour, blush, and bright pink lipstick on a random morning or evening! The old earthy colours suited her character more!

You are absolutely right. I don't understand the obsession with looks. Ok, she can change her style but then she should still look the simple girl that she is. Lastly, it has to be in character.

Exactly, Priya not wanting to dress up, put on make up, is very much a part of her identity. There was an episode dedicated to how much she hates the money making cosmetics or makeup companies.

For the first time on ITV , we had a girl not wanting to deck up, not wanting to put on makeup and this is not weird at all. Why can't we normalize this?Not wanting to dress up or wear makeup does not make you any less of a girl. I was just re watching few old episodes and I must say I really miss that simplicity of Priya, so raw so beautiful. Disha was carrying it off so well too.

But unfortunately, for ITV audience , the FL has to be decked up. The kind of comments you mentioned are really problematic and irks me a lot. I literally read one comment on Youtube, that finally Priya's dressing is matching the standard of Ram Kapoor.

Should we expect the same from Ram Kapoor too? Should he start wearing sober clothes, less chamkeela shoes if he is attending a family get together of Priya , were everyone else can never afford such stuff ?

Expecting Priya to dress up on a function, or a damn important party with Ram, where there is some protocol or dress code is still fine but wanting to change her entire wardrobe so that she can match up to Ram's standards is just so so so unfair.

I get extremely irritated when Sarangi gives her stupid advice to Priya about how she should dress up, how she should smile etc etc...

The most beautiful part is ,till now I have never seen Ram expecting any of such stuff from Priya. He literally does not care about exteriors. Ram seems more comfortable and confident about Priya's dressing even more than Priya 😂

Multiple occasions when Priya asked if he was ashamed of her dressing, Ram did not even consider it as a valid question. He doesn't care..

So at this point, we can't even say Priya is doing it for Ram..

If Ram asks and Priya relents out of love , it is different.. Show that gradually and gracefully.

🔥 I agree with you completely. In the current track too the kind of pink colour and net blinky duppatta she's carrying isn't really her style.

She went total neutral and simple even on her sagai and to go all out for a dinner is not in her character at all. This is all trp drama that we have to endure.💔 and this is a murder of her character right in front of our eyes.🥺(I know I am being dramatic here but I felt so weird seeing her in that colour, she looked so out of place💔)

I feel you. I mean as a sister you would expect her to be more understanding as sarangi is older and she has seen all the phases Priya had to go through and she must have known as an older sister what are the likes and dislikes of Priya.

If this would have come from Sandy or shivina for Priya to deck up more for Ram it would have been understandable as they are young and dont understand the value of character over appearance and in their age outer appearance plays an important part too with all social media influence.

She had the pink Kurta & Cigar cigarette pants before, I think she wore it to the Raya interview. But that dupatta and the extra makeup. So not Priya. Then it's date, she is more invested in Ram and finally started feeling that someone cares of how she looks or she should look the part of being Ram's wife. The scene before Ram gifts her the new suit justifies it. Hope they don't make her blingy bahu which makes my eyes sore!

Actually I used to do that a lot to my sister. Now I know it's wrong. Not mainly on dress but over glow up thing when we go out and she is an introvert and we have that wrong notion that if you force people their character changes. Bullshit! But Indian families 🤐

You said it my dear! My exact feeling in words! Why don't we have that choice to be this girl no the traditional or modern. Just the simple casual minimalistic. It was actual yes we exist for me.

Uff! I saw that comment and I can't say how pissed I was. I don't understand what in the world they think or what dignity or self respect they have. Chii! Is the word.

Ya yaar Ram totally respects her the way she is. She is the one who has confusion of what he wants. So it's something she tried to do once he fell sick. But hope they don't do a 180 turn and spoil the beauty of Priya!

She can obviously wear a saree or two in a function (or not) do makeup for a special occasion. But the everyday Priya should be this. Or if she starts having a thing for dress up it should be convincing. I'm afraid EKs revamp would mean Priya looking like a SP or ZEE bahu( that's a nightmare)
