Rant- not really on show.

Idk where to even put it so here goes nothing.

Girls really have no value without husband or a man in their lives, I guess. I know we are supposed to see priya marrying ram so that they can be couple and happy, but the way they are showing this is sad, also reality of society I think. Akki literally blackmailed her - aap nahi shadi karogi to main bhi nahi karunga. Her mom was pushing for marriage even though she was quite clear on not marrying- heartbreak or otherwise, that was her choice. She is marrying to make her mom happy, and repeatedly said she is comfortable without a man or any commitment in her life. Now her dad, who left them to fend for themselves, came back, and despite it all he's getting the respect cause priya k papa hai. Name of the father.

Woman really have no voice is it? If someone don't want to marry they have to cause pressure. At times I feel so sad for priya, and also many women.

Tbh this is a sad reality

It's very tough to live alone. But one must not get into a relationship for wrong reasons. There is no point being in a dead relationship and then moping.

The way she was coerced is sad 🙄 but she chose to bend in the end .

Waiting to see her reaction on the prenup contract

I think she will sign. Just to prove that she is not after money. But I guess this will come out only after marriage. Ram wud hv refused this pre-nup contract. However Shubham gets it signed from Priya. Ram will be accused later sometime...

I feel that for any relation some kind of consent from heart is needed...

Even though i would love to see Ram-Priya married but not at the cost where Priya just has to give in for the sakes.... its just sad tbh..🤓

Lovely post- but stories where the woman tries to break out of the marriage mold don't garner TRPs.

That is the unfortunate truth about the TRP audience. Even stories geared toward social change are told within the boundaries of marriage or remarriage.

It is going to take a while for the larger ITV audience to change. Currently we will only get shows that are centred around a lady achieving different levels of success and fulfillment while being married. Even if she is divorced, she will live in the same house woth her ex 🤷‍♀️

But unmarried girl is like so offensive to a family that everyone tries to rectify her situation. Akki didn't think about shivi once before taking the decision that priya should also marry. Her mom had that sad face thinking her date with ram didn't go well. What if priya and ram was staunchly against marriage? And how come rams family don't care about his status but priya ka does?

So agree about that divorce and living with ex part. So called progressive shows 😂 even if family is abusive need to stay with them cause join family nahi to u are a home breaker 😂😂😂👏

Hmm but here Priya is not just giving in.. she went on the date with Ram, had a talk with him, and then agreed to marry him. I think Priya in he heart has felt that Ram is a good person.. he is her soulmate after all and soulmates just have this intuition about each other that somewhere something connects them.. love comes afterwards..but at first it is this inexplicable bond that they feel and in their heart they already accept that person even though they don't really know it yet.

exactly that's what makes me so sad. She's going with zero expectations, even with the circumstances. Agree, when I gave up on relationships and someone from my circle asked me out. My friends convinced me to give it a shot but what my bro told me stole my heart ..he told me I must give a shot only if my mind is convinced more than anything and relationships should start for the right reasons( my bro said mind becoz we both believe that we think more with our mind than anything else)

I am glad I did for I am happy and have a 4.5 year old.
