Agreed. The scene could have been more like Vedu coming to meet Ram and then the whole thing blows out.

That scene was necessary to show that Vedu's importance in Rams life is going to be diminished by Priya's entry.

But I do agree that Ram staring at Vedu is obnoxious. But it will go away in the coming weeks for sure.
