Poor Bhagyashree ignoring all the possible red flags with Rishabh 1.0- two folks with differing incomes (esp if the male earns nowhere near the female/ is her subordinate in the same company) is almost always a recipe for disaster in the long run.

I thought the friend might have a word or two to say about it and make Bhaggu double question her choice, but she chose to end the call instead.

And B now on also on a mini- mission to know more and win over ML's family- full ITV FL shtyle!

OFC we have to make some allowances for the story given it's ITV, but it's very watchable so far- no complaints on that front.

Is Nikhil telling the truth? If yes, adds another layer of intrigue to the story.

There have been a lot of red flags with rishab 1.0, but I don't see how their income difference or position difference is one of them, except that he is lying about it.

And I am honestly surprised that she has been so self involved until to now to not even ask about his life or family. If she had, maybe she would have noticed that something is off sooner. I mean who falls in love with someone without knowing anything about them or the people in their life? I am glad they are finally making her ask those questions and show some support for rishab, since from her pov, all he has been doing until now is support her in every way possible.

Income and position disparity is a deal breaker for even the most progressive urban couples in real life; especially when it's at the same level as B and R are in the show. Any honeymoon period will break very quickly, especially when the challenges of real life come to the fore.

I disagree with the idea that income disparity is a deal breaker, but that is not what the show is about anyways, so it doesn't really matter.

And simply asking about the family is normal if you just care about the person, in any culture. If she indeed cares about him, she should have had more investment in his life, which she is finally having, so that is good. It's more a case of bad writing to me that they have shown her so self involved until now.
