Part 3
After coming back from temple, both Krishnaji and Shipra think to talk to their respective children.. But before that krishnaji need to talk to Dadi and shipra need to talk to Sudhirji..
Krishnaji with Dadi
Krishnaji- Biji aaj woh mandir mein mili ladki aapko kaisi lagi?
Dadi-kaun? Woh Priya?
Krishnaji- haan. Biji.. ussi ki baat kar rahi hoon main..
Dadi-bohot soni kudi hai. Tune dekha na.. kaise usne mujhe girne se bachaliya..
Krishnaji- haan biji. Main soch rahi thi ki woh Ram ke liye kaisi rahegi?
Dadi- tune toh meri mann ki baat chhinli.. main bhi tujhse wahi baat karne wali thi.. apne Golu k liye wahi sahi rahegi.. tune Ram se baat ki?
Krishnaji- nahi biji.. socha pehle aap se baat karlun.. phir usse karungi.. waise priya k ghar wale bohot acche hain.. shipra toh meri dost hi hai. Aur priya k papa se bhi ek do baar mili hoon mein . Bohot achha khandaan hai biji..
Dadi-thik hai. Abhi tu golu se baat kar.. aur uske baad priya k gharwalon se.. phir ladka aur ladki ko ek dusre se miladenge..
Krishnaji- thik hai biji.. main Ram k aane k baad hi usse baat karungi..
Sharma house
Shipra with Sudhir
Shipra- Sudhir wo aapse kuch baat karni thi..
Sudhir- haan bolo Shipra.. kya baat hai?
Shipra- ab jab Priya ne shaadi k liye haan kardi hai. Toh usske liye ladka dekhna chahiye na?
Sudhir- haan.. main bhi wahi soch raha tha .. tumhe yaad hai woh Sailesh.. uska beta bank mein naukri karta hai.. aur ladka bhi achha hai.. main usi se baat karne ki soch raha tha..
Shipra- Sudhir.. aaj main jab mandir gayi thi.. toh waha mujhe Krishna mili.. tumhe yaad hai. Woh krishna?
Sudhir- haan yaad hai..
Shipra- uska beta hai.. Ram.. main apni Priya ki shaadi usse karne ki soch rahi thi.. aur aaj hi Krishna se baat bhi hui iss baare mein.. maine socha pehle aapse baat karloon phir Priya se..
Sudhir- agar tumne baat karli hai toh phir Priya se baat karke ladke walon ko bulate hain.. agar Priya ko Ram pasand aya toh baat aage badhayenge.. nahi toh Sailesh ke bete ke saath Priya k rishte k liye baat karenge.. thik hai na?
Shipra- haan .. ye thik rahega.. Priya k aane k baad hi main usse baat karungi.
Krishnaji talks with Ram while Shipra talks with Priya.. Both Ram and Priya agrees with their mothers that they are ready to meet with the ladka/ladki..
Shipra calls Krishnaji and informs her that Priya has agreed to meet Ram.. while krishnaji also informs her about Ram agreeing to meet Priya. Both gets happy.. and decide that next Tuesday Kapoors will be going to Sharma house..
Monday night
Ram and Priya at their respective room think about tomorrow.. Kal se shayad dono ki life ki ek nayi shuruat hogi.. Both are nervous thinking about tomorrow..
Priya has always wanted her life partner to be friend first and then only the husband-wife relation.. Ram wants her wife to be understanding who will always be on his side.. tomorrow both are going to decide whether to accept the person as their life partner or not.. a decision that will change their life..
Dono ne abhi tak ek dusre ko dekhkar pasand bhi nahi kiya hai lekin abhi se husband-wife relation k baare mein soch rahe hain... both smiles at their wierd thoughts and go to sleep.. hoping that tomorrow morning will also be the same beautiful morning..
Tuesday
Kapoors along with Shergills proceed to go to Sharma house.. Shergills are like family to Kapoors so they are also going.. Ram is quite nervous.. Vikram tries to make Ram feel normal while Neha Natasha and Rishab are busy pulling Ram's legs..
Sharma house
Baith jao Ma, woh log aate hi honge, kitna traffic hota hain iss rush hour me Aapko toh pata hain, shayad jam me fass gaye honge, don't worry Ayesha tries to reduce the tension of her mom
The door bell rang, Sudhir Sharma opened it.
Krishnaji along with Ram, Rishabh, Natasha, Vikram and Neha, and with all of them head of Kapoor khandaan Dadi entered the house. Sudhirji greeted everybody and touched the feet of Dadi. In the mean time Shipraji also came and greeted everyone and took blessing from Dadi. Kartik and Ayesha also greets everyone.
After they settle down it was the time to official introduction and Krishnaji did this honour, though everyone know Ram Kapoor but still having seen him infront of the eyes was a big thing
Krishnaji asks Shipra to bring Priya.. Shipra asks Ayesha to ask Priya to come..
When everyone was chatting and greeting each other she entered the drawing room with the tray in her hand,keeping that on table she touched the feet of dadi and then Krishnaji. She was wearing a white green combination churidaar kurta, neatly lined kohl in her eyes, hair which is locked in a clip is on the right shoulder but some strands are coming on her face, it looks clumsy but she is looking beautiful in that, a matching earring perfectly befitted in her ear and wrist watch on the left wrist While serving Priya unknowingly touched the hands of Ram and both had an eye lock there, both looked embarrassed.
Krishnaji ' Sudhirji agar ladka aur ladki ek dusre se baat karle toh..
Sudhir-ji haan..saying this he turned his face to Ayesha
Ayesha made the arrangement and finally Ram and Priya was in Priya's room. Ram was sitting on the chair and Priya standing near the table. Both can't say anything as the situation is too awkward, par baat toh karni paregi, so Ram started
Ram- hi! I am Ram Kapoor.. Main kapoor industry chalata hoon..
Priya- hi! I'm Priya Sharma.. i'm a TOEFL teacher
Ram- mujhe nahin pata ki hume kya baat karni chahiye... hum yaha apni life k baare mein faisla lene k liye baithe hain.. mujhe lagta hai ki apni aage ki life decide karne se pehle hume ek dusre k past k baare mein janna chahiye..har achi buri aadat k baare mein pata hona chahiye.. main apni family se bohut pyar karta hoon.. aur shayad isiliye abhi yahan aap ke saath baitha hua hoon.. jab clz main tha toh dosto ke saath party wagera karta tga.. smoking bhi ki.. drink bhi kiya.. lekin abhi sirf occasionally karta hoon.. clz mein i had a crush.. lekin kabhi himmat nahi hui use batane ki.. tab bauji ki death hogayi thi.. (Priya notices a thin film of tear in Ram's eyes when he talked about his father) .. a girl named Isha used to love me at that time but i never reciprocated her feelings.. i rather concentrated on my career and family.. mujhe laga shayad ye sab apko pata hona chahiye isiliye bata raha hoon..mera manna yahi hain ki zindagi me har cheez ka ek sahi waqt hota hain aur agar uss waqt me who cheez na ho toh who aapke liye bana hi nahi, mera shaadi ka umar nikal chuka hain, aur saach bolu toh mujhe ab umeed bhi nahi hain, main khush hoon apne space me, lekin ma aur dadi ko, gharwalen sabko meri shaadi ki fikr hain.
Priya who was listening to him, look upto him and in his eyes she can see some pain, she can feel that connection, shayad kahi na kahin yeh bhi uski tarah akele hain. Priya doesn't say anything and just listen to him.
Ram - ab meri zindagi sirf mere kaam aur family ke ird gird ghumti rehti hain,
jab bhi akela mehsoos karta hoon apne family ke liye kuch karta hoon.
Priya was listening to all this and she can connect with him, so after a while she
said,
Priya '-mera manna yehi hain ki agar zindagi aapko woh cheez tab nahi deta jab
dena chahiye tha tab zindagi aap ke liye kuch aur plan kiya hoga aur better kuch
dene ke liye, main bhi apne pariwaar se bohot pyaar karti hoon, un logon se
judaa hone ke darr se bhi darr lagta hain.
Ram was listening to this and smiled to her and said hum dono hi apne family se bohot zyada pyaar karte hain.
Priya smiled him back.
Again silence drifted between them, actually they don't know what to say, never been in such situation before..
Then they talk about each others likes and dislikes..
After sometime they go to the drawing room...
Every one was anxious to know, everyone was looking at them..
