Ram Kapoor was last seen in Ekta Kapoor's Bade
Achhe Laggte Hain, which ended in July last year.
He then took a break from TV to pursue
Bollywood. However, the actor is now set to
return to the tube.
We hear the new project, which is produced by the
makers of Udann, is loosely based on Pooja Bhatt-
starrer Daddy (1989), in which Ram's character will be
on the lines of Anupam Kher's in the movie. The show
is expected to air in March. Ram confirms, "Yes it's
true. I'm excited about it. It's one of the best stories
I've ever been narrated."

Gurdeep has been roped in to play the role of Ram's wife.

Her out-of-the-box portrayal of the antagonist in Star Plus'Diya Aur Baati Humgave her career the momentum for a great future.

Now, the beautiful and talented actress will make a comeback on TV with Sony TV's show, inspired from the Anupam Kher-Pooja Bhatt movie Daddy'. As we know, the show produced by Gurodev Bhalla and Dhaval Gada will have the mighty and popular actor,Ram Kapooressaying the central role of the father.

ActressGurdeep Kohlitook her acting career to great heights with her memorable portrayal of Dr. Juhi in the hospital drama show,Sanjivani. There's been no looking back for her from then, and she has gone on to play challenging avatars inSindoor Tere Naam Ka, Bhabhi, Best of Luck Nikki, Kasamh Se, Arjun.

I wished it was Sakshi but in a way happy as the audience would've expected something similar to BALH.
I want Sakshi to comeback with a bang and hopefully soon

Gurdeep is also a good actress. Liked her opposite Ram Kapoor in Kasam Se.

I m not expecting Sakshi here as the film is based on Daddy movie, mother role here has very less importance I think.
Yeah would love to see them together again in a romantic theme only.😉😆
