Neha broke the hug and saw tears in Priya's eyes. Pagal why are you crying? This is a happy moment. You should smile instead of crying.
KK: I dont think she is crying, they are happy tears, dont worry Neha. She came forward and hugged Priya. Tell me something Priya, are you ok with it.
Ne: Ok!!! She is double okk aunty. Its just that she is in a sweet state of shock.
KK ji smiled at Neha's words. haan tumhe bhi chance milega, ek baar Vikram se toh baat karloon.
Neha went dumb with her words. She looked at Priya then at KK j and then at Priya. It was the shock of her life. Priya too was surpised how KK ji knew about them. She was having full doubt on Ram.
KK: Itna sochne ki jaroorat nahi hain. Main maa hoon, apna beta kab kaise behave karta hain I know. And what I am seeing is totally different Ram. Haan tumpe hi maine fix kyun kiya means, tum dono ki gustakiyan mene pakad liya.
Priya blushed with her words. Was I soo evident?? this thought was running through her mind.
KK ji took Priya's hand "agar tumhe hamara Ram pasand hai toh main baat pakki manoo?" Saying this she put forth a kangan. This am saving for my bahu. Seeing Ram these days I never knew that aisa bhi koi din aayega. But am happy it came.
Priya's eyes expressed some unknown worry.
KK: Why are you hesitating Priya. Kya problem hain?
P: Maa aur papa...
KK: Ohhh main bhi na..bahu dekhne ki khushi main maryada hi bhool gayi. I will talk with your parents.
P: No aunty, let me do that. They gave me all freedom in life. They have every right to know from me. So, let me talk with them.
KK came close to her and palming her head haan "jaroor lekin rishta toh hamare ghar se hi aayega. Aur aunty nahi maa bulao." Saying this she turned to leave from there. Nuts who was watching silently all these came near to Priya.
Ne: This is not done maa. Mujhe kangan nahi de rahe ho kya aap? Main Priya jaise nakhre bhi nahi karungi. Phatak si accept karungi, kyunki my parents will any time be more than glad that am loving Dr. Vikram but not Radhe Syam halwai. She giggled.
Priya and Nuts both broke out into laughter in unison. KK ji controlling her laughter "haan tumhara bhi hain, lekin yeh meri choti bahu ke liye.Tumhara alag hain. She went from there tapping Neha on her head.
Priya glared at Neha where as Nuts was still having a roll. Neha chuckled and shrugged her shoulders.
P: Nuts, tumhara bhai bhi na. Mujhe toh ek baat bol dete. I could be prepared.
Nu: Woh kya bolenge. Unhe thodi pata hain!
P: Then??!!
Nu: Maa ko maine pucha ki Priya kaisi lagi aapko..bas woh samajh gayi...
P & Ne: WHAT??
Nu: Haan, if I wait for you two, godd it will be ages. So I just hinted her and she observed you two all the while. The result is here.
P: You are impossible. How could you do this to me. I didnt even tell to maa aur papa. Kya sochenge woh mere baare mein?
Ne: Kuch nahi sochenge. Upar se khush honge ki unki beti koi saadhu sant mein join karne wali nahi hain. Itne din unhe yahi darr tha, especially aunty ji ko.
P: Will you shut up please...
Nu: Guys relax. Priya, Neha is teasing you. Chill na.
P: Dekha na yeh dafar kaise baat kar rahi thi aun...maa ke saath.
Ne: Koi baat nahi Nuts. Mujhe aadat hain isski gusse ka.
Priya heaved a sigh. Toh I should call papa now..and Ram..what will he say to maa..he..
Nu: You need not worry about him. He is big enough to voice out his feelings. Let him deal for himself. I told him to introduce you. But he didnt. So let him get the shock too.
Ne: Bhai se revenge le rahi ho.. Lol am loving this. Even I want to know how Vikram would react. Ha ha..
Priya and Nuts both laughed at her craziness.
Here Ram was worried thinking why his mom took Priya inside. Vikram was enjoying his fussing.
KK ji came to dadi and whispered something and went inside smiling at the duo. Ram was in total consfusion now.
Dadi asked him to call Nuts. Along with Nuts the two would be brides came into the living area. Priya and Neha took dadi's blessings. Dadi blessed them happily and then glared at Ram and Vikram. They were like totally lost why dadi was angry with them.
D: Sab kuch hone ke baad ab nakhoon chat rahe ho. Bahu dekho kitni samajhdaar hain aur tum donon...
Ram and Vikram stared at each other in shock. Inhe kaise pata chala was the question playing on their faces. Ram had his heart in his throat.
D: Ab utna naadan banne ki jaroorat nahi hain. Aisa muh banaya jaisa mujhse bahit darr tha hai. Aa golu Aake aashirwad to lelo.
Ram and Vikram touched her feet still lost in their thoughts. Ram was scared to even glance Priya. Both the ladies were suppressing their giggle.
R: Dadi please golu nahi... yaar yeh kya...
D: Ha ha tu hamesha mere liye golu hi rahega. Ab ja tu jaha jaana chahta hain.
Ram gave a forced smile and signalled Nuts to come out. Ram and Vikram literally ran towards main door. There they caught up Nuts and Ram hurriedly asked her..waha dadi kya bol rahi thi..bahu... kaise unhe.
Nu: Maa ne bataya.
Ram was shell shocked hearing her. Maa...unhe kaise pata chala.. I didnt tell her.
Nu: I have told her...about both of you.
Ram and Vikram in unison yelled "WHAAATT"?
Nuts gave a faint smile and rushed away from there to escape her bhai's reaction.
Both came into senses after a while. Ram was like how can she do this?? Mujhe toh batane deti..Goddd.. Ufff...
V: Abhi chal, jaake maa se baat kar. Jo hoga dekha jayega.
R: No..I wanted to prepare her before introducing Priya. What if she rejects? He couldnt talk more.
V: Hopefully she wont. First talk with her. Then you will know whats her opinion about this issue.
Ram heaved a sigh and went inside. He knew his mother very well but still he was having a little bit of hesitation thinking about his dadi. He was thinking how should he convince his dadi.
Lost in his thoughts he walked to KK ji who was doing some work. He hesitantly called her..maaa...
KK: Haan Ram, batao kya baat hain.
R: Woh..main..aapse...aapko..actually.. choti na..dadi ko... main... sorry... he was mumbling randomly.
KK ji stopped her work and gave a surprised look. Ram never behaved or talked like the way he was doing right now. She understood that he was thinking about Priya's matter.
She came to him and kept her hand on his cheek " mujhe aur dadi ko Priya pasand hain Ram. We both are happy for you".
Ram had a teary line in his eyes which blurred his vision. He didnt know why he was having tears but he was elated hearing his mother.
KK ji patted his shoulder "dont worry I will talk with their parents. You stay happy Ram. Priya is a nice girl. You need not feel bad for anything."
Vikram came in grinning. "Dekho maine bola tha na..pehle baat toh karle"..
KK: Haan mujhe Neha bhi pasand hain. Sab theek chale toh jaldi hi unke parents se baat karungi. Tum donon ko Priya aur Neha ne kaise pasand kiya mujhe toh samajh mein nahi aa raha hain. She heaved a sigh but alas they did..so.I just wish they had made right choices.
Ram and Vikram both howled at her..Maa this isnt fair, aap humare baarein mein aise baat nahi kar sakte.. Ram was sulking at her.
KK: I can by all means. Ek baar apne aapko parkho..hamesha kaam kaam. Koi ladki kaise tumhe interesting feel karegi. Ye dono..bechare...
Seeing Ram and Vikram's hurt faces KK ji laughed and said..theek hain theek hain.. I was kidding.
Ram was like mujhe pata tha..suddenly he stopped as if something struck him..Maa...Dadi..woh..unhone kaise accept kiya?
KK: Simple..unhe Priya jaisi bahu hi chahiye thi and upar se being a doctor she is so simple and mingling in nature. She doesnt have attitude which you have. So...
R: Maa. .phir aap..
KK ji left from there. Priya entered a minute later. Seeing Ram over there she stopped in her tracks. She was having a look at the house. Vikram saw her first and nudged Ram. Ram turned his head and his eyes were glued to her. He wanted to fill her in his arms and lifting her wanted yell to the world that he loves her madly. She understood his excitement and gave a blushy smile lowering her head. Ram holding his heart saying "hayeee...main mar jaawa.." leaned on Vikram for support. Vikram held him and laughed out at his friends act. Priya glared at him but ended up more blushing. She turned to go away then Ram called her "Priyaa..." She stopped in her tracks.
R: I.. I am.. So so happy for us. Will wait for your parents nod for our marriage. I hope I will impress them.
Priya didnt utter a word. She was smiling thinking his madness. Ram came towards her and wanted to hold her hand.
Goluuu came dadi's voice from living room. Ram froze in his place and after one more yell more dadi he literally ran towards the voice. Priya was looking at him in disbelief.. Is he the famous CT surgeon of Mumbai?? was her first thought. Her lips broadened witha smile.
V: Hairaan math ho Priya. Ram loves and respects his dadi so much. Even dadi too has the same for him.
Priya nodded as "I can understand." Suddenly a thought rushed to her brain. She frowned at that. She wanted to ask Vikram but was hesitating.
V: Kya baat hai Priya? Kya soch rahi ho? Kuch kehna hai kya? Dont hesitate you can ask me anything. I wont tell him.
P: Nahi woh kya hai.. Ram ne bataya ki...
V: Yeah.. come out Priya.. its ok you can ask anything.
P: Then why is dadi not allowing him to go ahead to fulfill his wish. After all its a matter of one hospital which will serve the poor and...
V: Wait..wait..one hospital...did u hear him correctly when he discussed it with you?
P: Hmm..Yes I think.
V: Sighed..No Priya..its a chain of hospital all over India which will serve the poor at free of cost for all major diseases which aren't affordable to them. So you can imagine na how it would be and how much Ram should invest and so he has no other option than selling some properties and dadi isnt favour of it. Why means she is afraid that Ram wont think about his future and may end up in troubles and all. This is all because Amarnath uncle has lost much properties in charities and they had to struggle when Ram and choti were kids. Krishna aunty took so much pains to stand again to reach this position. So obviously she would be scared. I hope you can understand.
P: Was dumb for a while..Yeah lekin Ram kya karna chahte hain exactly aur dadi kiss baat ko mana kar rahi hain?
V: Woh.. Ancestral properties hain Pune mein..Ram unme se kuch part bechna chahta hain as it will be enough to start hospital here atleast. But dadi isnt willing to. The property there will fetch around some billions, I dont know exactly how much but it will surely be sufficient to start 10 hospitals at a time but you know..
P: Hmmm...Main dadi se baat karoon??
V: Tum!!! He was shocked.. he took his time to recover. I don't know..but yeah you can try.
Priya went to dadi directly and saw that she was talking something with Ram seriously. She waited for them to finish and when Ram went out as he got a call she went near to dadi. Dadi smiled at Priya and asked her to sit with her. Priya made her comfortable beside dadi and sat pressing hands.
D: Kya Puttar..Kya hua..Golu ne kuch kaha kya? Oyee Golu..
P: Dadiii..nahi...mujhe hi aap se kuch baat karna hain. Lekin...
D: Bolna puttar..daro mat..tum Golu ki pasand ho aur humari hone wali bahu..tum kuch bhi bol sakti ho.
P: Dadi..woh..agar aap ko lage ki main jaroorat se jyada baat kar rahi hoon..toh mujhe maaf kar dijiye, lekin pehle mujhe poori baat kehne dijiye. Please..
D: haan bol na puttar.
P: Dadi..Unhe kuch sapne hai ye toh aap bhi jaante hain. Aur woh..
She paused for a while but made up herself and saw into dadi's eyes..Dadi gave her an assurig smile. So Priya continued.
P: Aapke pyar aur aashiwad ke bina hum chote khush nahi rahenge dadi. Aur jo Ram karna chahte hain usske liye main unka saath zindagi bhar doongi bina koi gile shikwe. Aur woh sapna poora hone mein bahuth der lagega dadi..shayad humari poori zindagi, lekin shuruat toh kahi na kahi karna padega na. Maine unke aankhon mein jo dard dekha hai na dadi, apna sapna sach hone se pehle toot jaane ka darr se juda dard hai dadi. Shayad unhone aapse apna dil ka dard chupaya hoga. Lekin woh takleef main hain dadi aur woh takleef sirf aur sirf aap door kar sakte hain. Haan dadi mujhe pata hain aap ka darr bhi main samajh sakti hoon, lekin dadi tab maa akeli thi lekin ab Ram ke saath main hoon, aur hum sab honge. Humari khushi itne sare paison mein nahi hai dadi..Humari khushi aap sab ke khushi mein hain aur Ram ka sapna poora hone mein hain. Zindagi kat jayegi dadi lekin woh zindagi jeena chahte hain..aap apne Golu ko unki zindagi dene se darr kyu rahe hain dadi? Kuch nahi hoga Ram ko, main zindagi bhar unka khayal rakhungi. Please dadi ek baar..bas ek baar sochiye. Atleast Mumbai mein hospital shuru karne ke loye permission dijiye.. Please dadi sab theek hoga..ek baar sochiye..Tears ran down her cheeks.
D: Wiped her tears and keeping her hand on Priya.. mera darr najayej nahi hain puttar. Maine jo zindagi dekha woh sapne mein bhi Ram ya choti dekhna nahi chahti. Issiliye main mana kar rahi hoon.
P: Lekin dadi.. ab itne saare haath jude hue hai..sab milke karenge toh koi naubat nahi aayegi dadi. She couldnt speak further as she didnt want to hurt or irritate dadi. She bent down her head and let out her silent tears.
Ram came in after finishing his call. Dadi woh hospital se tha, kisi patient ke baare mein. Aap... Seeing Priya along with dadi he stopped his words. He found something was wrong. His heart beat stopped for a nano second thinking whether dadi isnt interested in their marriage.
Dadi signalled him to come towards her. He came with his heart in his throat. He sat beside her glancing at Priya. She wa wiping her tears. He was scared like hell to hear from dadi.
D: Golu...
R:Haan dadi..his voice was so low.
D: Golu..yeh bahu ne mujhse panga leli.
R: Kya hua dadi. Bachi hain..aap uspe gussa...
D: Tu jaa aur woh zameen ka kuch hissa bech ke aa. Mumbai mein tumhara hospital shuru karenge. Aur woh bhi jitni jaldi hosake utni jaldi.
Ram and Priya were shell shocked after hearing her. Priya was having happy tears while Ram was yet to believe what he has heard. Dadi..aap kya bol rahe ho.. maine sahi suna hai ya..ye mera saona hain..kuch zameen ki baat ki na aapne. Woh.. he was mumbling to dadi.
Priya was having a hearty laugh and hugged dadi where as Ram was awestruck at dadi.
D: Oyeee Krishna..ye tera beta pagla gaya hain..Goluuu..ye Golu...tune sahi suna..yeh koi sapna wapna nahi. She slapped him.
R: Dadiii...Ram yelled sooo loudly taht everyone came running to hall.
There Ram was jumping madly thumping his fists in air and Priya was hugging dadi and crying. Everyone was confused what could be the matter as dadi had already gave a nod for marriage.
D: Yeh sab bahu ki wajah se..jyaada khushat ho. Maine full permission nahi diya. Sirf ek hissa bola..
R: Dadi dadi you are my angel. Ab ke liye wahi kaafi hain. He ran to dadi and hugged her along with Priya.
Nobody understood what was happening there. They were shrugging their shoulders seeing each other. Vikram was getting some thoughts and he was wishing his thoughts should be proved right.
Ram pulled Priya and hugged her tightly and crying his heart out he said" I love you..I love you so much.. I am grateful to God for sending you to me. I love you" He kissed her on her forehead and lifted her in air yelling.. Maa, Choti, Vikram dadi ne zameem bechne ke permission dedi..Mumbai mein hospital shuru karne ke liye... I LOVEEE YOUUU PRIYAAA...
