Part - 2

He entered and surveyed his room, looking carefully. The room was spacious; nearly enough for three or more people to stay there. It had a couch in one end, two chairs and one table for two people to have a nice timing near a big glass window. The bed was huge, with white coverings. He was pretty sure that it was a room which any couple would love to stay in. There was a small knock "Yes" Ram called and Kevin entered. "Sir we are having a party at night around 8. So just thought to remind you" he said politely. "Yeah thanks a lot Kevin. I will be there" Ram replied and Kevin left the place. Ram checked the time and threw himself in the bed and closed his eyes. She placed her things neatly in the cupboard, and did little alterations to the room as she had to be there for three months. She took time and selected a dress for the party, a light cream gown, and left for a shower. She was woman, who was ever busy even when there was nothing to do. She checked the time it was 6. She had loads of time left. She opened her laptop to see her mails and do some video chat with her fellow scientists. She was missing them like hell. She felt bored here except when she was with him. "Uff Priya stop thinking about the tycoon now" she told herself and started reading her mail one by one. She came across one mail asking her to do a last editing of a project and send within a week. She promised her papa not to work here. But it was important. "Ok I will do this at night but enjoy myself in the ship as I promised him" she promised herself and shut the lap. She was not a woman who took hours to get ready. She was elegant and simple in her ways which made her look more beautiful. A loud bang heard in the door and she rushed to it and opened. A small boy stood her with his eyes rolling "Sorry aunty by mistake my ball hit your door" he confessed innocently holding his ball. Priya who loved kids was totally lost in his sweet, charming voice. She knelt to him "that's ok champ, what your name?" she asked. "Ram" the boy replied. Priya smiled in reflex hearing his name. "You have the sweetest name" she said and kissed him. "Thanks aunty. Mum will be searching. Bye" the boy ran away from the place. "Ram" Priya told herself smiling and entered her room.

"MA it's no one trust me" Ram was talking in the phone. "Beta Kevin told me everything that you were guiding a girl I am so happy. You could have told me that you invited her" his mother sounded little sad. "Ma please I don't know anything about the girl at all. We just met" "and became friends right" his mom completed. "No ma we are not friend. I just helped her to find her room and hers was next to mine so she came with me" Ram said. "What you both are in opposite room. Kevin didn't tell me that" his mom fumed. "Ma please shouldn't I be friend with any woman" he asked. "II am not saying like that son. I know you very well and I know that you easily don't help in these cases like finding rooms. It's a peculiar behavior of yours" his mom told him. "Ma I just helped her as she asked me, and I do have a heart so I helped her" though he defended himself he perfectly knew that his mom was right, he was behaving peculiarly. "Ok just tell me you feel different with her right?" his mom was in no mood to leave him. "No ma nothing like that. Its getting late now I am leaving. Love you" he said and cut the call. His mind couldn't think of anything but what his mom asked him "You feel different with her" the answer was obviously "yes" but that didn't matter him now, he wanted to know "why he felt different?. He decided to forget this and get ready.

Priya dressed in a cream gown, snatched her mobile and came out of her room. As she locked the door, the opposite room opened and she turned to see him. She looked at him for one sec and burst into laughter "Why? Why? Are you laughing Priya" he asked confused. "Ram you ok?" she asked. He nodded. "Just look at you" he said trying hard not to laugh. Ram was in a casual blue shirt and black Bermuda shorts. He looked at himself and gave her a confused look "what's it yaar?" he asked. "Ram it's a party for the first diner we are going to have here and I am sure all will be grandly dressed. No one will be in their casuals. But you can if you wish coz it's up to you" she told him. "Oh..!! Yeah. Thanks for letting me know that. Already made a fool in wearing a tux. Now I will change and be back" he said. "It's okay. I am leaving. Take care" she said and left. Ram left to his room cursing himself behaving like a fool in front of her. How come he forgot that he was going to a party.

Mostly everyone was with their family, or in two's. The hall of the ship was arranged very grandly for the dinner. The first night in the ship. The ceiling was fully lit with thousands of lamps throwing golden rays throughout the hall. The tables were beautifully set some having two chairs and some five to six. The buffet was ready with steaming food. Priya had zero interest in eating and stuff. She took her seat in a table. She looked around and saw people having broad grins. She Ram waving to her from a distant. She smiled and waved back. He was wearing a white tux with a red tie. He looked so hot that not only she but nearly all the woman were glaring at him. He slowly made his way to her "Sorry Priya but I don't know anyone here shall I join you?" he asked like a kid. "We are sailing in the same boat I guess. Even I don't know anyone" she said. He smiled and said opposite to her. "Dress ok?" he asked "It's perfect. All women are seeing you" she told him. He turned and looked around "and I see that all the men are seeing the beautiful lady in cream opposite to me" he smiled. she blushed. Her cheeks went a little pink. Never in life had he seen a woman blush so sweetly. It drove him mad. "Don't do that" he told her. She looked at him "What?" she asked confused. "Drive people mad" he said. He was lost in thoughts. "Excuse me" she replied. He realized what he had said "Yeah nothing. Got lost somewhere" he told her. "Attention please" a man called from the diaze . Ram turned to look at the man speaking. He pulled his chair so that he could see properly. Her heart skipped beats when he neared her. "Hello lovely people. I am Captain Mark as you all know. Welcome you all to this AMOR cruise. 3 months this will be your home. We are going to know each other very well. Have a great time visiting so many places. Today we are here to celebrate for the special bond we are gonna create among ourselves in these three months. We know many well identified people are here but all are equal in eyes of God. So let's raise a toast to ourselves" saying the captain raised his drink and all the others followed including Ram and Priya. The crowd drank and cheered and left to get themselves dinner. "You don't drink?" Ram asked Priya who's glass was untouched. "Only pa can handle my drinking" she told him. "Oh..!! Can I ask you something?" he asked hesitantly. "Yeah sure" she replied. "Your mom" "she is no more" she finished and gave him a weak smile. "My dad too" he said. An awkward silence prevailed. "Shall we get dinner" asked breaking the silence. She nodded and followed him as he left.

Ram filled his plate with loads of food of different variety. He was food crazy person. The reached their table and Ram looked at her plate filled with salads and vegetable "yuck Priya you should learn to eat" he told and she smiled looking at his plate "ya I know I have to learn to eat but not like you" she replied and he looked shyly down. They both someone found each other's company light and enjoyable. Ram reached to take the fork and spoon kept in the center of the table, Priya's hand came at the same time and both their hands rubbed against each other. Their eyes met. They looked at each other mesmerized for a few secs and Priya took the fork and gave him a smile to bring him back. They ate the dinner in silence. Once the dinner was over. The lights in the hall went dim and white lights were focused on the dance floor. Soft music played as many people made their way to the floor. "You like dance" Ram asked Priya. "Hmm..!! not much. Just dance in formal partied nothing else. What about you?" she asked him. "Hmmm!! Ya I like dancing. Would you like to dance now?" he asked gaining confidence. She looked at him. "No sorry Ram. Not now but in the three months I will ok" she promised. He smiled at her stunned by her sincerity. It was the first time he was turned down, it was the first time he asked any woman either. Beside his friends he never danced with anyone but he knew that no one would reject a dance with him. But this woman, she just turned him down and this made him mad over her more. "Aunty" someone shouted. The small boy came running towards Priya "Hi Ram" Priya greeted her. "Raaamm" Ram asked in astonishment. Priya smiled at him "Yea that's his name" she winked at him. Ram looked her stunned by the wink she gave him. "Ram you know this uncle name is same as yours" Priya told the boy. The boy looked at Ram for a while "Is he your husband?" the boy asked Priya. "No why you ask so?" Priya asked the boy. "Coz you said I have the sweetest name in the world. Which means you must love him just like my ma loves my pa" the boy said innocently. Priya knew that Ram was glaring at her. She felt herself blush, she avoided Ram's gaze "Baby I said so coz you're so sweet" she told him. The boy was sitting in Priya's lap playing with his car. "Ram you like kids" Priya asked Ram. Though Ram had no special interest in kids he had a strong feeling to make her feel that their interests were same. "Yeah I love them" he lied. "me too" Priya replied, the song was changed into a nice rock music. "Aunty I want to dance please" the boy asked Priya. "Yeah sure you can just go there and do it" she pointed the dance floor. "No I want you to come with me" the boy told her. "Ram no please aunty cant dance baby" she told him politely. She knew Ram was observing them. The boy pleaded Priya to join him. "OK OK now don't cry. Let's go" she told the boy and got up. "Ram I will be back" she said Ram and left with the boy.

"God what is this woman doing to me?" Ram thought to himself as he looked at Priya and the boy both dancing in the floor. Seriously still now it was the best he had ever seen. The Priya waved her body and legs to beat in a graceful way made him go near her. He sat in the chair just looking at her open mouthed. Kevin the loyal servant noted all these and decided to make a call. He saw Priya talking to a couple maybe the boy's parents. She dropped a kiss on the boy who kissed her back and she walked towards him. She dropped herself in the chair exhausted. "Water" he asked. She nodded. He slowly poured water and gave her. "Thanks Ram" she said and gulped the water. "You dance so well" he said. She smiled at him. "And you look so beautiful" he continued. She was taken aback by his compliment. "Thanks" she blushed. "Shall we leave" he asked and stood up. They left to their room. As they made their way they walked across the open space n the ship. It looked un-inhabitated. No one was there all were partying and some sleeping. "Ram you can leave I would like to get some air here" she told him. "Mind if I join" he asked. She hesitated for moment and nodded. The stood facing the sea, looking at the waves that slowly hit the ship. The breeze was cool making her shiver lightly. He took of his coat "Really not needed Ram please" she told him softly but firmly. He smiled and put back. "Priya can I ask something" he asked. "Shoot out" she replied. "Will you be my friend?" he asked. She looked at him for some time."It's just that I feel really comfortable with you "he said looking at here. She didn't want the relationship to go deeper but his eyes, sure had something which made it so tough to tell a no to him "Yeah we are friends Ram" she replied. He smiled "thanks a lot" he said. She felt that he was unusually happy. "Ram can we leave?" she asked. "Ya sure" he said and lead the way. They reached their room. As Priya went to enter her room "Priya one sec" he called. "Yeah" she turned to him. "Priya I really don't like kids a lot" he said. She smiled "why did you say so that time" she asked. "Ahhh..!! I didn't want him to hear it, but I didn't feel good lying to you. I want my friend to know me how I am" he said. Priya was lost in his genuine nature. Their eyes met and they stood looking at each other. She perfectly felt that he had a different behaviors towards her. Was he feeling strange just like the way she felt?
