Priya was stunned in her place. She was staring at him in shock and disbelief.
Ram called her Priya..Priya kya hua?
She collapsed in chair...Shaking her head she asked "Kya kaha aapne?"
Ram went into thoughts with that..Kya kaha maine..didnt she hear?or doesnt she understand I
LOVE YOU?Or..does she wanna hear from me again??With that he got a smile and excitedly told
"I just said I Love You Priya.."
P: (Still baffled) Kyun?
Now it was Ram's turn to go confused as well as surprised.When he was still in that confused state Priya left the cabin in a daze.
As Vikram had already told the secretary to inform him when Priya leaves he reached Ram's
cabin no soon. There he found Ram in confusion.He called Ram two times when he didnt respond he shaked him to make him normal.
R: Who was still confused..asked where was Priya.??
V: She has left already..what happened.
R; Kuch nahi..
Vikram sensing something wrong asked Ram to give him the details of what has happened.
R: Tu pehle ye bata jab tune propose kiya tha Neha ne kaise respond kiya?
V: Why now?
R: Are bol na yaar(frustrated)..
V: She was so happy that she hugged me and gave a peck too.
R: Tum dono tho pehle se dost the so woh reaction I can expect..but KYUN? aisa kaun
poochtha hai yaar even if we are strangers.
V: KYAAA???
R: Haa she asked me WHY? when I said I love you..weird reaction.. Do lecturers need reasoning for Love also kya?
Vikram suppressed his laugh as he very well knows how good will be Ram's reaction.
V: Shayad usse Ram Kapoor ne propose kiya na she might have gone into shock. Just give her some time to know her reply.
R: Hmmm..what else I can do..Hope she will say Yes.
Priya reached home in that same bewildered state an was waiting for the door to be answered. Shipra came to attend the bell d when she saw Priya..she hugged her yelling "PRIYAAA". With this Priya came back to her senses.
P: Maa..why are you shouting..Argghh my ear..
Shipra: Ha I wil shout because that Pune wali rishta hai na they are coming in the evening. We were waiting for them na they called in the morning and have sent a person to enquire about us Tulsi ji told that. He will suit you perfectly and as per your wish they dont want dowry too. So I just pray that this one gets settled for you.
Priya was staring at her.
Sh: Priya..Priya where are u lost?? Aur itni jaldi bhi aagayi ho..!!
P: Nothing ma. Having headache so took half day leave.
Sudhir: Shipraaa...give her a break. You can talk later.Go and take rest Priya, your mom will get you coffee.
Sh: Yeah go and rest again you have to look good in the evening.Main coffee lathi hoon.
Priya nodded and went to her room. She flunged herself on bed and was trying to come out of the shock of her life..She was clouded with her thoughts.
What did he say..He loves me...was it a dream?Why would Ram Kapoor love me? And we dont even know about each other. We hardly met three times..Itne mein pyaar..How I should feel.??Did I behave as if I am interested in him anytime?Even in this confusion I asked him Why??Kya socha hoga mere baarein mein..woh jo bhi soche mujhe kya..phir bhi...hmmm
Priya itna sochegi toh tera sar phat jaayega..leave it for now and take a nap.
Shipra woke her up after an hour for lunch and from then she ate Priya's brain about how to get ready what to wear etc etc.
Priya was wondering in herself what if this match gets settled how would Ram Kapoor react? She didn't understand why she was bothered about his reaction. Still she was not able to believe that he was loving her.
In the evening the groom and his family came and after introductions and snacks Priya was called to meet the family and they seemed happy when they saw her.The groom asked whether he could talk with Priya alone. Sudhir said he can and arranged for that.
Priya was calm and composed, she didnt talk much but answered the questions she was asked.
Groom left from there after 10minutes.
Groom's family discussed among themselves and said it was a yes from them and wanted to know Priya and her family's response. Shipra was going to say as it was OK for them but Sudhir signaled her and told them they would make a call after talking with Priya.
They took leave from there saying they would fix the engagement date if it was ok for them.Shipra and Sudhir bid bye to them.
Shipra was angry on Sudhir for what he said.When she was about to start an arguement he stopped her saying "Priya ko thoda time do to decide dont haste the things. Its matter of life" and left to talk with Priya.
Priya was in deep thoughts when Sudhir entered her room.
Su: Kya beta, kya soch rahi ho.
P: Kuch nahi papa..main yuhi..
Su: Un logon ne ha kehdiya hai..
P: Unke demands..
Su: They didnt say anything just said Yes. I said I will call them to tell your reply.
P: (Was happy) Hmmm Thank you papa. You are the best.
Su: Then take your time and tell me. Okk.. and he left leaving her alone.
She was again lost in her thoughts. If I will accept this proposal then what shall I say to Mr.Kapoor..hmmm why am I thinking so much about him. If he is The Ram Kapoor then let him be there is no need for me to accept his love as I dont have any feelings for him..Why will I have..I dont even like him or fascinate him. He is just a good businessman for me. Whether he can be the best life companion or not how I would know. May be I wont suit him or he wont suit me. So let me think about this rishta..hmmm..

OMG this Ram Kapoor has taken away my peace. Gosshhh I should do some work to stop thinking about him.
The next day morning when she got down the bus and was about to enter her college campus she found Ram and his car just inside the gate. She was like Ohh No why did he come..What shall I do now? What if he asks what is my answer..God you have to help me.
Priya directly went to Ram and asked him Hello Mr. Kapoor..Aap yaha itni subah..
R: He hesitated for a while but put up courage and asked her "Am waiting for your reply"
P: "Mr. Kapoor this is not the right place to discuss. Please don't embarrass me" and left from there.
Ram was taken back with her words. Vikram who was there in the car got down and convinced Ram that she was right and he isn't a normal guy to wait on road for a woman's love.
Ram sat in the car with disappointment "tujhe meri reputation ki padi hai meri dil ki nahi. She is my life, I am just feeling choked with her silence.
Vikram couldn't say anything and was left wondering what would happen to Ram if she says NO.
The days passed so hardly for Ram that he wasn't able to focus on his work properly. He was searching for happiness by sending gifts, flowers and messages to Priya as an attempt to woo her. Priya was feeling compelled with these things but not to create an issue she used to take them. She was worried if this goes on one day whole college would discuss about her. She was unable to clear her confusion so she wasn't able to say anything to Ram. Some where she felt that she can't find love for her in his eyes.
One day Ram confronted her in her staff room. She was surprised first but asked him to sit.
R: I want to ask you one thing. Tell me the answer straight away, don't drag the matters.
P: Yes Mr. Kapoor, please ask.
R: Are you treating me as an idiot who will run behind you for your love.
P: Got angry with this.."why would I do like that, in fact am treating you with utmost respect.
R: Ohh not responding to my proposal and not valuing my feelings is the UTMOST RESPECT you are giving me. Do you expect me to run behind you pleading you to love me back. Do you think I am a joke. I Love You Goddammit and you are treating me as nobody. I am Ram Kapoor okk Ram Kapoor, I never got a NO from anyone and you...
P: Lost her patience " What if you are Ram Kapoor haa what shall I do if you are a big fat businessman. I don't know how you can think that you are in love.. your ego is bigger than your love. Pyaar dil ka maamla hai Mr. Kapoor aur jo aap Pyaar ka dindora pit rahe hai na woh mujhe aapke aankhon mein kabhi nazar hi nahi aaya, phir bhi I was giving time to myself to know whether I can find it sometime. But today you proved that I am wasting my time. Pyaar jabardasti nahi hoti hai Mr.Kapoor. I don't love you okk I don't and please leave me in peace. Please don't disturb me ever again. I did bear all your nonsense till now but not anymore." She took her books and left the room with rage.
Ram was shell shocked with her words and stormed off the room in anger.
Vikram who got message from Ram that he was going to Priya to deal the issue reached the room to find angry Ram. Ram didn't respond to his calls and drove away the car with full speed. Vikram followed him. Ram reached KI and didn't respond to anyone's wishes and on reaching his cabin he called the secretary to call off every meeting that day. She was afraid and just said "Yes boss" and left his cabin. Vikram came in no time and was really worried to see Ram like that.
V: Kya hua Ram?
R: Nothing, I want to be alone just get out.
V: Ha I will but tell me what happened.
R: I said na no..
V: RAMM don't hurt yourself kya hua bolo..yaar I can't see you like this. Please let me know...Please.
Ram Badly needed a shoulder so he came and hugged Vikram and explained everything with tears. "She said NO to me Vikram..ussne mera pyaar ko thukraya..I am unable to bear this..this is killing me.I..I.."
Vikram was baffled to see him in tears. He made Ram sit in the chair gave him water and patted his shoulder.
V: Will you listen to me without interrupting.
R: Was just staring him.
V: Tu usse pyaar kartha hai na tho yeh kya tha Ram? Kya karne nikla tha. Do you want to compel her? Do you think your name will make her love you? Pyaar jatha pagal ego nahin. She isn't like all the girls who ran behind you for your money. She is different I mean she is simple and straight and will fall for your love not for your grandeur.Make her happy with your love.
R: Haa issilye tho kitne saare gifts bheja maine phir bhi ussne kuch nahi bola. Thats why I got angry and went to deal with her.
V: Dimaag business mein use kar yeh dil ka mamla hai. Apni Pyaar usse ek baar mehsoos kara de usske baad leave her to her wish.
R: I can't leave her..I just can't breath if she isn't there in my life. I Love her. I...
Vikram really felt helpless seeing Ram like that. But he didn't want to see his friend go ahead with wrong assumptions. So he left him alone to his own thoughts.
Days moved with so much pain for Ram as Priya was avoiding him. She used to turn her head away if it all she saw him by mistake. It hurt him very badly but he took it as he didn't want to repeat his mistake. Priya too was feeling low and unhappy. She was feeling something tugged in her heart but she tried to act as normal as possible. She was unable to accept that she loved him back. It was mixed feeling for her.
One day when Priya was in balcony, alone, aloof lost in her thoughts Sudhir came to her.
Su: Kya hua beta? Kyu pareshan ho? Kya takleef hai tumhe?
P: Papa..aap. Aayiye. Kuch nahi papa everything is fine as usual.
Su: With a smile kept his hand on Priya's head, you are my daughter I know you very well. Common tell me, it may ease your pain.
P: Hmmm..Papa aap pyaar mein believe karte ho. Main nahi karthi thi. Lekin ab main believe karna chahthi hoon. With out my knowledge I started falling for him may be for his innocence or for his arrogance but I did feel for him. Still I was in confusion because of that alliance and all. But one day he proved that I was fooling myself. Whatever love he says he has he just ended it for me because of his ego. He tried to compel my feelings. Mera pyaar ki kahani bina shuruaat ke khatam bhi hogayi papa. I dont want to think about him. But he has occupied my thoughts and is killing me.
Su: Priya jitna main tujhe jaanta hoon tera dil ab bhi usske liye tadap raha hai. Agar teri confusion Pune wali rishte ki wajah se hai toh leave bothering about it. They didnt ask for dowry but they presented their demands in a twisted way, they want this flat to be registered on your name. I said "its not that I don't want to give but my daughter won't allow me to give. So please hume maaf kardo." So if you can tell me who that guy is I may help you in deciding.
Priya told him that it was Ram Kapoor the shrewd businessman, owner of KI with big fat ego.
Sudhir laughed at Priya's comments for Ram and told her, "agar woh hai tho ek baar reconsider karle apna decision."
P: Why papa? He was so rude.I can't forgive..
Su: Because you still love him and his act was out of fear of losing you. Utna bada businessman hai na Pyaar waar ki adat nahi hogi issiliye ussne aisa baat kiya. Ek baar sochle.
P: Chodiye na papa. Tomorrow I want to go to Birla mandir papa. Drop me at the station in the morning.
Su: Yeah I will, now go and get some sleep.
Priya went to bed with heavy heart. She was unsure about Ram's love for her. Here Ram was going fidgety with his feelings. He called Vikram and told him that he should arrange for their meet before he goes mad. Vikram convinced him that he will and asked him to rest for now.
Early in the morning Vikram drove to Sarma house. Sudhir answered the bell. When Vikram asked about Priya Sudhir told him that she wasn't there and asked him to come tomorrow.
V: Please sir I can't wait till tomorrow. Tell me where she is I will go and meet her.
Sudhir was apprehensive to give the where abouts so he told him to come the next day. Vikram pacified him and convinced him giving all the details and who he was, why he came there and how important it was for Ram to meer her that day and he promised him that they won't trouble her in anyway and if he wants he can come with them. Sudhir thought for a while and gave him the details. Vikram thanked him and called Ram to be ready as they had to go to Shabad as Priya went to.the temple there.
When Vikram reached KM he found Ram waiting near the entrance. He was finding it difficult to accept the changes in Ram but as he knows what love does to humans he was just staring at him.
Ram hastily got into the car "Chal abhi jaldi chalna hai. Mujhe usse aaj milna hi milna hai aur baat bhi karna hai."
V: Ram ye..
R: Kya ye gaadi nikal jaldi.
V: Shaked his head and started the car. He saw Ram was in kurta kya yaar abhi tu kurtha pehenke aagaya, mandir jaana hai na issliye yah..
R: Aise hi pehen liya.
V: Tu ban math, I know you since our college. You were not so eager to go to temple anytime.
R: Agar tu mujhe satayega toh I will kick you out. Chup chaap gadi chala.
V: Ok ok. I have promised her dad that we won't trouble her. So be careful with your words and remember this is your one last time dont..
R: Dekh mujhe unse bhi lecture sunna hai tu ab shuru mat kar.
V: Kinse?
R: Aur kis se Priya se. Definately she will lecture me about that day.
V: Tu kabhi nahi sudhrega. Ladkiyon se kaise baat karte hai tujhe bilkul pata hi nahi. Issiliye aaj tak kunwara hai.
R: Oyyyee tu pitega mere haath se. But I am still single because Priya was my destination.
Vikram drove the car as safe as possible and reached the temple.
V: Lo aagayi teri destination. Come we will search for her.
Ram and Vikram ran to the temple in search of Priya. Vikram found her sitting on the stairs on left sidw of temple. He rang Ram and called him over there. Ram reached the place and Vikram left from there showing Priya. He stood near by so that he could hear them.
Ram was mesmerized by her beauty. She was sitting there in white chudidar looking like an angel. He went to her and called "Priya".
Priya was startled to hear her name and when she saw Ram.she was baffled. But with in minutes she became normal and started to go away from there. Ram asked her to stop as she didn't listen he stopped her holding her hand. She tried to pull away her hand.
Ram: "Itna gussa Priya, woh bhi mujh par. Kyu Priya..ha maine tumhara dil dukhaya hai lekin it was neither my ego nor my arrogance it was out of my agony I talked like that. Pata hai Priya aaj tak maine kissi bhi ladki ko najar utha kar ek aur baar dekha bhi nahin. But I fell for you on the day I saw you. I don't know why but I started loving you from that moment itself. Do You know how much I love you? Itna pyaar karta hoon ki saans lena bhi mushkil ho jaata hai tumhare bina. I feel choked always to bear this much love. Mera dil bahuth chota hai Priya lekin uss mein sagar se bhi gehra pyaar hai tumhare liye. Ek baar meri taraf dekho Priya, you will find the love you have searched for. I Love you, I need you, I miss you, I respect you, I adore you and... and I just can't live with out you.
Ye haath pakad ke zindagi bhar chalna chahtha hoon, ye haath mujhe hamesha sambhalna chahtha hoon please dont leave my hand. Meri banjao Priya pal kon pe bitha ke rakhoonga tumhe. Marry me, I will be your soulmate and companion for life..Please" he said when tears were gleaming in his eyes.
Priya was in a sweet shock and she was extremely happy.
P: Please leave my hand Mr. Kapoor.
R: Please Priya don't leave me, I will go mad.
P: Chodiye na Mr. Kapoor, she squeezed her hand and run away from there with a huge grin.
Ram who was in a state of disappointment didn't observe this and was standing there in tears cupping his hands.
Vikram came running to him "Oye mera sher tune shayari kab sikhi itni ache se pyaar ko confess kiya I am proud of you. By the way congratulations, hassi tho phasi yaar..She was blushing like the way you did on that day. Tu ne kar dikhaya".
R: Stop it Vikram. If you don't know let me tell you he rejected me. Okkk. Saying that he went away from there.
Vikram understood that Ram couldn't catch Priya's smile. He immediately called Priya. She answered the phone expecting it to be Ram.
V: Main Vikram hoon Priya.
P: Aap..boliye kya hua.
V: Mera dost bahuth bhola hai Priya usse tumhari answer samajh mein nahin aaya.
P: was shy but talked confidently..what I should do then. If he wont understand.
V: Common yaar. This isn't done. He is thinking you rejected him. Please dont tease him.
P: Why shouldn't I, haa, he did hurt me na in the past. Let him be like that for a while.
V: He will feel dejected. If you are ok with it, let it be. He was about to disconnect the call.
P: Nahin nahin suniye..haa baba I will talk with him you just do this favour to me, she told what her requirements would be.
They reached back KM and Ram got ready no soon and pulled Vikram with him before he could do breakfast. Vikram was sulking that if Ram was lost in love why he should be hungry. Still Ram turned deaf ear to Vikram.
On reaching his cabin he called his secretary and to give him all the files and leave him alone until he calls her. She nodded an Yes and left from there.
After trying to read the files Ram couldn't focus on it and turned towards the window and closed his eyes. Only Priya's image was visible to him. His eyes were hurting him because of tears. He didn't know how much time passed by.
Excuse me sir.
I told you na to leave me alone. Just get out.
Haa if you could have left me alone then now I would have done the same.
Ram spun towards the door and was amused to see Priya over there. She was standing as gorgeous as ever in red saree leaving her hair loose. He was awestruck seeing her but tears were running down his cheeks.
P: Kya kaha aapne..sagar se bhi gehra pyaar hai mere liye. Good I used to think you are a shrewd businessman but No you do have heart. Aap ne ye bhi kaha ki aap woh karenge yeh karenge but try to understand me first. In future if I have to explain you everything means it would be very difficult for me.
Ram was spellbound and was rooted in his place.
Priya walked near to him..I don't know why I...but seeing his watery eyes and kid like face she could no longer tease him. She so wanted to irritate him but his love for her which was flowing through his eyes made her flung herself to him hugging him tightly and uttering the three magical words "I Love You".. His hands were hanging on the sides, he was still in a stage of disbelief. She expected him to hug her back but as she didnt find his arms tucking her in she broke the hug and found him in daze. To bring him to normal she stood on her toes and went near his lips, his breath was touching her lips. Iss ke liye abhi waqt hai saying this she planted a kiss on his cheek. The wetness of her lips brought him to reality and he stared at her in confusion.
P: If I only have to do everything means it will be very difficult Mr. Kapoor try to learn few things atleast.
With a naughty smile she tried to go away from him. He held her hand and pulled her close to him. She landed on his chest. Ram lifted her yelling "Yahooo"..
PRESENT:
If I look back into the past few months I can remember only happy moments. This is all because of my love, she made my life worth living and now I am on the receiving end. To make this day memorable I am going to tie know with her today. I feel blessed to have her in my life.
He turned to see who came dashing through the door. There were Vikram and Neha yelling "Dulhe ji"..
Neha: Kitna sajoge fatty, waha pe Priya kab se tayyar hai aap se jud ne ke liye. Come lets go.
V: Itna bhi mat sharma tu dulha hai, dulhan nahin.
Neha chuckled at this and Ram glared at him.
V: Chal chal abhi teri zindagi ka the end hone wala hai. I can't help it.
Neha hit him hard enough to make Vikram squeal with pain.
Laughing at their silly fight I entered mandap and sat in it. There comes my Priya to make my life even more wonderful. I tied mangalsutra in her neck and felt great and relieved. She was blushing all the while.
Priya was waiting for Ram in the room. She was eager and also tensed. When she heard the sound of locking the door from inside she was nervous to face him. Ram came to her and sat beside her. He lifted her ghoonghat and was left staring at her beauty. She was feeling embarassed with his stare. He smiled and with a cheeky voice told her.
"Sab kuch tumhe hi karne ki jaroorat nahin hai Priya..I think I know what to do and how to do."
Priya felt too shy to look at him and was blushing at his words. He slowly lifted her chin and went to her lips...She was awaiting for her first kiss but as she did't receive it she opened her eyes in confusion. There he was hovering his face over her with all the passion.."Shall I go ahead"..She nodded as an 'Yes' and dropped down her eyes.
He took her lips into his and turned the kiss into a sweet passionate one until Priya could no longer bear it and held his neck. With her move he was affirmed and went ahead to fulfill their love in a complete sense.
