Ram Kapoor, an actor par excellence, helped the widowed Kiran Sharma fulfill her dreams for her adopted daughter Arzoo on COLORS' show Mission Sapne.

To earn money for Kiran, the actor took to the streets of Mumbai as he turned taxi driver for a day - adopting Kiran's late husband's profession which ultimately led to his death. Habituated to a world of luxurious cars, Ram Kapoor sat in the driver's seat of a compact taxi only to reveal that is has been 7 long years since the actor last used public transport facilities. Driving around the traffic-laden streets of Mumbai in a non-air-conditioned car, Ram Kapoor valiantly fought the heat and pollution before he managed to find himself caught by a traffic policeman for not carrying his driver's license with him.

In a turn of events, Ram Kapoor's passenger tried to convince the policeman to let them go emphasising about the fact that the man in the driver's seat was Ram Kapoor who was trying to raise funds for a good cause. However, the cop was not one to be deterred and did not budge until Ram Kapoor paid him the requisite fine.

Back in the studio after a hard day, Ram Kapoor revealed that he generally found himself in the backseat of cars, being driven around to his destinations and back. Furthermore, he added, saying that he is not used to driving cars with manual controls and that it took him a lot of effort to do the same for the show.

The actor also realised that it was relatively easy for him to find passengers only because he is a celebrity and empathized with Kiran Sharma and her late husband for their struggles.

However, all said and done, Ram Kapoor admitted that in spite of having had a sweaty and tiresome day, he enjoyed driving around the city... all because he knew that he was doing it for the greater good - making the life of Kiran and her daughter Arzoo more comfortable!
