Kapoor decided to help a
Chandigarh-based taxi driver
Kiran Sharma. Ram raised
enough money for Kiran to
afford a good education for her
six-year-old daughter. Ram drove
a taxi around the busy streets of
Mumbai in the sweltering heat of
May, fulfilling multiple requests
from his passengers. After a hard
day of driving through the city's
infamous traffic snarls, Ram
managed to raise a good enough
sum to give Kiran's daughter the
future she dreams of. To make
sure that the little girl receives a
quality education, Ram decided
to donate an amount equal to
what he had raised, multiplied by
100! "As actors, our lives are so
busy that we often forget to
thank all the people whose daily
contributions make our lives so
much simpler. This was my way
of saying thanks in a small way.
Driving a taxi around in Mumbai
is quite a tough task. I hope that
the money I have been able to
raise for Kiran Sharma and her
daughter will help make their
lives better."
