I think that Mandeep's friend who told him about Pihu being a party animal and characterless, is non other than Varun's younger brother / Ashwin's other son! (Varun is the boy who commited suicide after Pihu falsly accused him of attempted rape.)

I am not so sure about that, though there is a very high possibility. I think Varun's brother was around 1 or 2 years younger than him, so he must've not been that young also, which probably meant that he was a year or same age as Peehu currently. Yes it does make sense, but I am not exactly so sure about it.
