Priya had no options left but to accompany him. They both came in the basement, got into the car and came out from office. It was Friday night, the traffic was as usual on the road but with that a cool breeze was blowing outside. Priya was enjoying the drive, after few minutes Ram asked,

Ram " Priya, u r from Jaipur right?

Priya " yes Sir

Ram " who else u have in your home?

Priya " my parents

Ram " yahan kahan rehti ho?, I mean do you live with some relatives?

Priya told him about her stay and gave him the address.

Ram " so tell me, how are you u finding your internship?

Priya " its quite satisfactory one

Ram " and the project?

Priya " am learning the process, excited and nervous.

Yun hi baatein baatein karte karte they reached Priya's flat and Priya asked him to come in but Ram refused the offer saying its late today, he will come some other day.

Aise hi kaam karte karte aur bohot kuch seekhte seekhte Priya apna internship complete kar rahi thi. The project on which the trio was working finally got approved. Priya made the report and also prepared the presentation. Priya aur Ram dono milke yeh presentation banaye the, and they came more close during this time. Ram presented the presentation and everyone appreciated it, Amarnathji was very happy and the project was bagged, the deal was finalized. Ram shared the news with Priya and also congratulated her and invited her to the party. Priya ka bhi internship almost khatam ho gaya tha, only 10 days were left, for her the journey was very satisfactory.

Priya was hesitant for going to the party but later she made up her mind. The party was on Saturday in Hotel Springdale. Today in Saturday and was still in her office, she was finishing her work. It was almost 5 in the clock. Vikram came out from Ram's cabin and came to Priya,

Vikram " tum abhi bhi yahi ho, ghar nahi gayi?, party me nahi jana kya?

Priya " bas abhi nikal hi rahi hoon

Vikram " haan, bas ab toh sirf kuch hi dino ki baat hain, uske baad to tumhara intern complete ho jayega

Priya smiled at him. Vikram too smiled and asked her to wrap up her work and get ready for the party.

Hotel Springdale at 8 PM. Guests have come and party has started. Drinks were being served and everyone was enjoying it. Ram was sitting on the bar counter with Vikram and Neha. Neha is Vikram's wife. They just got married three months. These three were college friends. Neha is a chatterbox and other two was just listening to her. Though Ram was listening to her but his eyes were fixed on the door, he was expecting Priya to come. Ram turned to grab his drink when Vikram said, Priya aa gayi, hearing this he turned back and saw Priya was entering. Seeing her he was dumbstruck, Priya was looking ethereally beautiful. She was wearing a black and gold combination anarkali salwar, a big jhumka adorning her ear while her eys bearing deep kohl in it and a liptick commensurating her look. Her hair was in braid, looking deep drop gorgeous. For moments Ram left open mouth but he controlled himself. Priya came to them and greeted. Vikram introduced Neha to her and Neha instantly gelled well with her.

The party was in its peak, though it was an official one but unlike the boring types this one was bit different. Kapoors try to make the ambiance more casual. The music was playing and everyone was requested to join the dance floor. Vikram and Neha were on the dance floor. Ram looked at them and chukled. Priya who was standing beside him was enjoying the party. After some time Neha came and took both Ram and Priya on the dance floor. Everyone cheered for Ram Kapoor. Priya was feeling very awkward, it's not that she can't dance but it's just that she never done these things before. Ram understood her hesitation and put his hand forward and ask, may I have the pleasure to dance with you? Priya looked at him and found the assurance in his eyes, she gave her hand hesitantly. Ram slided his right hand on her waist and took her right palm in his, Priya shivered to the touch of him and entwined her fingers with his. They slowly moved with the rhythm of the music. Unknowingly they both came close to each other so much that both can feel their breath, Priya looked up and saw Ram is staring at her intently, for moments she can't move here eyes from him, they looked at each other, both can feel something has changed b/w them. They came to their sense after the song finished. Everyone clapped for Ram and Priya came to the bar and took the glass of orange juice, before the bartender could stop her she gulped another one. Priya was actually nervous and at the same time her heart beat was beating very fast. Few minutes later, Neha came to her and they started talking but Priya was not in her usual sense, Neha sensed something wrong. By that time Ram and Vikram both came back and they saw Priya behaving strangely.

Ram " yaar isse kya ho gaya?

Neha " pata nahi, kuch ajeeb behave kar rahi hain

Vikram " tu ek kaam kar isse chhod aa waise bhi raat bohot ho gayi hain aur aisi halat me woh khud jaa bhi nahi payegi.

Ram " theek hain main chhod ata hoon

Ram took Priya with him and makes her sit in the car. He was driving towards her flat. Priya was constantly blabbering, sometimes she was laughing, sometimes she was making puppy faces, seeing this Ram finds her cuter; he was smiling at her antics.

Ram " Priya tum theek toh ho

Priya looked at him and came very close to him and said, mujhe kya hua hain, am perfectly fine, while Priya came to Ram he got the smell of alcohol and understood her behavior.

Ram " tumne kuch piya hain kya?

Priya " nahi toh then said, haaan piya hain na, piya hain, orange juice

Ram understood the whole thing. Toh tabhi Priya kehti hain,

Priya " mujhe kulfi khaani hain, stop the car

Ram was perplexed to hear her and saw a kulfiwala was standing in nearby. Ram stopped the car and Priya jumped out from it and came to the vendor, she asked for two kulfis. She grabbed the kulfis, offered one to Ram who was watching her, he finds her child like, he took one from her and both were enjoying their kulfis. After some time both reached Priya's house. Ram escorted her till her flat. Sabina was out of town for three days, so Priya was alone. Ram opened the flat and took Priya in. Ram put Priya on the bed but Priya was not interested to sleep, he clutched Ram's hand and came in front of him and came very close to his face. Ram was just watching her. Priya came very near to his lips and sucked the kulfi from his cheeks and giggled. For moments Ram couldn't move nor say anything, he just kept staring at her, Priya continued her giggle and was also blabbering. Ram cupped her face and brought very near to him, he looked at her intently and then placed his lips on her, he kissed her softly, though Priya was not in her sense but she can feel his lips on hers and in reflex she put her arms on his back giving him the access to get from more from her. Priya too responded him. Ram felt that and he deepens his kiss...on the dawn of the new day, Priya stirred in her sleep, she was having a terrible headache, she got up from the sleeping position and leaned on the back rest of the bed. She closed her eyes and tried to figure out what happened to her. Slowly she get to remember what happened last night, how she came back to her flat?, and what happened between her and Ram, though Priya was drunk but she wasn't out of her senses fully in fact it was a mild alcohol, its just that she never had alcohol, she couldn't control herself.

Priya was still sitting on her bed, clutching her head and tear drops falling from the eyes. She couldn't believe that she and Ram shared such feelings. After a long time, Priya came out from bed and came to the washroom, she freshened up and came to the kitchen, made a strong cup of coffee and sipped to it. She was constantly thinking about yesterday's night, how can she do such things?, why couldn't she control herself?, she tried to call Ram par woh kya bolegi unhe, Priya ko kuch samajh me nahi aa raha tha, she was constantly thinking about the incident. Yehi sochte sochte pura din chala gaya and next day she came to the office. Only this week is left to complete her intern. She stepped in the office and without looking anywhere she came to her desk. After some time Priya was working on some file when peon came and said, Amarnathji is calling her. Priya took deep breath and came to his cabin. She entered in his chamber and saw Ram was there too. Priya tried to control herself but she couldn't control her eyes and eventually both eyes met. Ram ki aankhon me kuch aisa tha, jo Priya ne pehele kabhi nahi dekha, he was smiling also but Priya shifted her eyes and sit in front of Amarnathji.

Amarnathji " Priya, am very happy with your work, the way u handle the project and made the presentation, u really needs applause for that. Priya, I want you to join Kapoor Industry. We need young talents like you.

Priya was overwhelmed, it's the dream of every passing out students to join KI, she only could say thanks to him. Priya came out from his chamber and sat on her desk. At around 6 PM, Priya was still engrossed in her file, she heard two of her colleagues saying something about Ram, and Priya heard them talking about Meesha, Ram's would be fiance. Yeh sunn ke Priya ka hosh udd jata hain, she couldn't believe her ears. She didn't want to ask anything about this but she wasn't in her control. Priya came to her colleagues and asked about Meesha, and one of them told her that Meesha is Ram's would be fiance and he is the daughter of Ram's mother Krishna Kapoor's friend's daughter. In fact next month they are going to be engaged. Priya couldn't hear it anymore and came to her desk, she took up her file and started working on that, but she hardly concentrates on the file. On the other hand Ram wanted to talk to Priya, he needs to explain her about that night. He sent the peon to call Priya but he came back and said she has already left for home. He really needs to have words with her.

For next three days Ram was constantly trying to have words with her but he simply couldn't. Tomorrow is her last day in the office, Ram wanted to speak with her, he wanted to confess his feelings to her. Ram could see she is avoiding him and this makes him more impatient. On the other hand Priya has taken the decision and was following on that path. Next day Priya came to the office and was finishing her pending work when peon came and said that Ram is calling her. Priya took a deep breath and came to his cubicle. Ram asked her to sit.

Ram " Priya mujhe tumse baat karni hain, see jo bhi kuch hua uss raat it was meant to be, I mean it was our feelings which we shared.

Priya looked at him and with a deep voice said, uss raat jo kuch bhi hua woh nahi hona chahiye tha, it was just not right.

Ram looked at her and said, kya tumhe lagta hain jo hua woh galat hua?

Priya looked straight in his eyes and said, yes, mujhe lagta hain hum dono se galati huyi hain.

Ram " tumhe lagta hain maine tumhare saath koi zabardasti ki thi?

Priya " main sirf itna janti hoon jo kuch hua hain woh nahi hona chahiye tha, woh ek galati thi

Ab Ram se aur bardasht nahi ho raha tha he came in front of her and said, mujhe nahi lagta hain ke maine koi galati ki hain, woh mere liye sabse khoobsurat pal tha...

Priya " par mere liye woh zindagi ki sabse badi galati

Ram was about to confess his love for her but after hearing this he was stunned and kept looking at her. He came back to his chair and Priya came out from his chamber.

The day passed off on good note. Mr. Joshi came and congratulated on her completion of internship, a small party was organized for her in the office, everyone joined but Ram was missing, Vikram told Priya that he has gone to site. Priya came back to her flat. For next 15 days Priya was busy preparing her report on her intern, she has to submit the report along with the certificate of her internship. Priya called Mr. Joshi for her certificate and he asked her come tomorrow and collect from HR Dept. Priya wanted to see Ram for last time as after this she will be going back to her home town, yes Priya has already decided that. With much expectations and anxiousness she entered KI and collected her certificate. She met Mr. Joshi and he blessed her for her results. Baton baton me she asked about Ram and Vikram and got to know that Ram is out of town for the new project and Vikram is on leave. She wanted to meet Amarnathji and tell him that she wouldn't be able to take up the job in KI. Mr. Joshi asked her to wait as he was in a meeting. Half an hour later Priya met Amarnathji, firstly he congratulated her on completion of her intern and then he asked her about her decision. Priya told her decision to him, he wasn't expecting such but he respects her decision and blessed her for her future. Priya came out from Kapoor Industry office.

Sab kuch samay ke hisaab se ho raha tha, Priya ka report aur certificate submission ho gaya tha, with that the last round of her examination which was viva, woh bhi khatam ho gaya tha bas ab result ki bari thi lekin uss me abhi bhi waqt tha so she decided to go back. Tomorrow Priya is leaving for Jaipur. Bas aaj ki raat hain, yeh sheher, yahan ke log sab bohot yaad ayenge, she has spent some really good and memorable days here, she will always cherished those memories, isi sheher ne usse pyaar karna seekhaya aur isi sheher ne usse apna pyaar chheen bhi liya, yes she is in love with Ram Kapoor. Uss raat jo bhi hua woh Priya ke marzi se hi hua, woh itni bhi drunk nahi thi ke usse kuch samajh na aaye, she was in her sense, pata nahi kab aur kaise but yes she is in love with him, bohot pyaar karti hain isi liye uske life se hamesha ke liye chali jana chahti hain. Roz roz apne pyaar ko kisi aur ke saath me nahi dekh payegi isi liye she turned the job offer, Priya janti hain what golden opportunity she is missing but apne pyaar ke aage usse kuch soojh nahi raha hain. She always want her love to be happy, aur waise bhi aagle mahine uski engagement hain, he will be happy with Meesha, a lone tear escaped from her eyes, she wiped it and promised herself that she will never tell anyone about the incident and will never shed the tears...

Aaj 7 saal baad Priya phir se Ram ko apne samne dekhi, wahi aankhen, wahi muskaan, kuch bhi nahi badla sirf waqt badal gaya hain saath saath haalat bhi. On the other hand Ram was also thinking about his past, Priya ke jaane ki khabar usse baad me mili thi, he wanted to see her last time par tab tak woh iss sheher chhod ke chali gayi thi. Ram usse rok nahi paya, apne dil ki baat nahi keh paya. Din raat bas yehi sochta tha ke aisa kya hua ke Priya yun bina kuch bole chali gayi, kyun ki Ram ne Priya ki aankhon me apne liye pyaar dekha tha, woh sirf ek baar Priya se sunna chahta tha, kehna chahta tha, par Priya ne mauka hi nahi diya, woh inkaar karti rahi, apne pyaar ko chhupati rahi par Ram ne socha tha ki woh usse baat karega par Priya ne Ram ko waqt nahi diya aur chali gayi, pehele toh bohot gussa aaya phir dheere dheere woh shaant ho gaya, lekin Meesha se apna engagement cancel kar diya, in fact shaadi na karne ka faisla liya. Inn peechle 7 saal me Ram ne KI ko uss shikhar me pahauncha diya jahan tak sochna bhi na mumkin tha, aaj kal Amarnathji sirf naam ke owner reh gaye hain, the actual boss is Ram Kapoor lekin kahin na kahin usse aaj bhi Priya ki kaami mehsoos hoti hain, Priya ne sirf 3 mahine Ram ke saath kaam kiya tha par she proved herself in that short span of time. Yeh dono ne hi zindagi se muh mod liya hain par zindagi ne aaj phir se inn dono ko amne samne laake khara kar diya hain.

Shaadi ache se nipat gayi, sabne bohot enjoy kiya, bohot masti huyi, Krishnaji ko Priya bohot pasand aayi hain. Ram saw her smiling after long time, in fact he too enjoyed the moment. Sneha vidaa ho gayi hain, bas ab sab kal wapas jaa rahe hain. Priya was in her room when Ram came,

Ram " can I come in?

Priya turned and saw Ram was on the door. She asked him to come.

For moments both couldn't say anything, then Ram asked her,

Ram " kaisi ho Priya?

Priya " achhi hoon, aur aap?, Meesha kaisi hain?

Ram " I called off my engagement.

Priya kept looking at him with bizarre look.

Ram " I loved someone else but she left me.

Priya couldn't face him anymore and she started finishing her work. Ram for moments looked at her and then asked,

Ram " suna hain tum Jaipur me padati ho?

Priya " haan

Ram " u had a bright future Priya, why did you wasted that?

Priya " I didn't wasted anything, in fact am happy with my decision.

Ram " 7 saal se khud se jhooth bolte aayi ho, aur kitna bologi?, kyun kar rahi ho tum aisa?

Priya " dekhiye Mr. Kapoor beeti baton me mujhe koi interest nahi hain, main bohot khush hoon apne present se, toh plz main ab iske bare me aur koi baat nahi karna chahti hoon.

Ram looked at her for some time and then asked, tumne shaadi kyun nahi ki?

Priya looked at him and said, woh meri personal matter hain, aur waise bhi aap hote kaun hain mujhse yeh sawaal poochnewale

Ram " accept the truth Priya ki tumbhi mujhse utna hi pyaar karti ho jitna ke main tumse

Priya " maine pehele bhi aap se kahan tha aur aaj bhi keh rahi hoon, mere dil me aapke liye koi feelings nahi hain

Ram " tumhari zaban jhooth bol sakta hain par tumhari aankhen nahi, jahan saaf saaf dikhayi deta hain ke tum mujhse kitna pyaar karti ho, but u will not accept it, fine, saying this he came out from her room aur Priya wahi bed pe beyth jati hain hiding her face in her palms.

Its been a month that Sneha got married, Sharmas have come back to Jaipur aur sab kuch normal chal raha hain. Kal Teej ki puja hain aur usiki ki taiyyari chal rahi hain ghar me. Priya aaj college se jaldi wapas aayi hain apne maa ko help karne. Both were in the kitchen. Sudhirji was in his room doing some work. Priya kal ke puja ke liye mithai bana rahi thi. Shipraji was preparing some other dish. The door bell rang and Shipraji asked Priya to open the door when Sudhirji came from his room and said he will open it. He opened the door and to his surprise Amarnath Kapoor and his family were standing there. Sneha ki shaadi me Sudhirji aur Amarnathji ke beech kaafi achi dosti ho gayi thi, actually Amarnathji kaafi down to earth insaan hain aur baton baton me pata chal gaya tha ki Priya KI se hi apni intern ki thi, Sudhirji ko Ram bhi bohot pasand aaya tha. Aaj unhe yahan dekh kar Sudhirji bohot khush huye aur sabko andar lee aaye.

Sudhirji " Shipra, Priya dekho kaun aaye hain

Priya " kaun hain papa, saying this she came out from kitchen and saw Kapoors have come. Not in her wildest dream Priya thought about this. She folded her hands but it was full of besan so she excused herself lekin jaate waqt he saw smile on Ram's face.

Shipraji bahar aayi aur sabne ek dusre ko greet kiya, Ram took blessings from both Priya's parents. After some time Priya came out with snacks and tea and they all chatted for while. Sudhirji invited them over puja next day and they agreed to attend.

Next day all geared up for puja, Kapoors have come in, Ram was wearing a white kurta with chudidaar looking ravishingly handsome. Priya was wearing a deep blue colour saree, she was indeed looking beautiful with minimal make up just deep kohl in her eyes and a light lip shiner. After puja gets over, everyone sat for lunch. Amarnathji was relishing each and every item, actually he is a Punjabi man and loves to eat.

Amarnathji " Sudhirji aap kitne lucky hain ki aap ke ghar me beti hain, betiyaan hamesha apne pariwaar ke bare me sochti hain, itna accha khana sirf ek beti hi bana sakti hain, kyun beta, said this while looking at Priya.

Priya didn't say anything just smiled.

Sudhirji " haan yeh aapne bilkul sahi kahan main sach me bohot lucky hoon ke mujhe Priya jaisi beti mili hain.

Krishnaji " Sudhirji, hum log aaj aapse kuch mangne aaye hain

Amarnathji " hum Ram ke liye Priya ka haath maagne aaye hain.

Both Sudhirji and Shipraji were elated to hear this, Ram Kapoor jaisa daamad toh bohot kismatwalon ko milta hain, they were really happy but Priya was stunned to hear them, she didn't believe in her ears, she automatically looked at Ram and saw him smiling looking at her.

Amarnathji " Priya, kya tumhe yeh rishtaa manzoor hain?

Priya looked at her parents and saw their happiness in their eyes and said, mujhe thoda waqt chahiye.

Aaj Priya ki shaadi huyi hain, officially she has become Mrs. Priya Ram Kapoor. Yes she finally got married to Ram. Ram came to his room and found Priya is standing near the window, she was still in her bridal dress. He closed the door and came inside.

Ram " tumhe agar change karna hain toh kar lo

Priya didn't say anything.

Ram came to her and said, Priya hum dono aaj ek nayi zindagi shuru karne jaa rahe hain, jo beet gaya hain usse bhula do, yeh safar hum dono ka hain, aur hum dono milke isse sawarenge, saying this he cupped her face, Priya shivered with his touch and Ram saw tears in her eyes. He wiped those with his thumb and said, Priya, jo 7 saal pehele nahi kahan woh kehna chahta hoon tumse, I love you and I will always do, bohot pyaar karta hoon main tumse, I promise I will love you till eternity. Priya looked at him hearing this and said, main bhi aapse bohot pyaar karti hoon Ram and am really sorry that I hurt you. Priya was crying with this, her tears were flowing constantly and she continued, main bas aapko khush dekhna chahti thi par samajh nahi payi ki aap khush nahi reh payenge mere bagair, am sorry Ram am really really sorry. Ram again wiped her tears and put a feathery kiss on her forehead. He cupped her face in his palm and kept looking at her intently. Ram slowly took her lips in him and started sucking it, Priya clutched his sherwani and reciprocated him, 7 saal ki dabi huyi chahat isi ek kiss me bahar aa gaya, they both sucked each other with their last breath, they both feel each other, they found their heaven in each others embrace. Ram scooped her in his arms and put her on the bed, both kept looking at each other longingly and Ram again took her lips in him and they moved on. The light gets off and they proceeded towards the unison to become man and wife.

I tried to justify with the story. As a writer I have used some writer's freedom and written some scenes as per my convenience and the story demand, hope u all like understand that as it is a fiction one. Agar kuch bhi bura laage toh plz revert me back. If you all like it then hit the "LIKE" button and leave your valuable comments.
