Time and again creative teams of Hindi television soaps introduce time leaps as and when the show's TRPs hit a low. The latest TV show to climb the rung is 'Bade Acche Lagte Hain' that will leap by another nine years. We take a look at more shows that went through a leap to revamp their story lines looking for a spike in their TRPs...
'Bade Acche Lagte Hain': The show is all set to leap forward by nine years this Monday which will show a grown up Pihu essayed by Aanchal Munjal from 'Parvarrish: Kuchh Khatte Kuchh Meethi'. Previously we saw a five-year leap in June 2012, which saw the introduction of Samir Kochhar as the parallel lead to Ram Kapoor. The storyline of the show was completely changed with Priya Kapoor settling down in Dubai with a five-year-old daughter even as the Kapoor and Sharma families assumed that she was dead. Another 15-20-year leap took place in July 2013 which was originally meant to see a divorce between the Ram and Priya, which did not come to happen |
