Hello everyone! I am back wid the update. First of all a big sorry to keep all of u waiting for a month. finally I have updated and I hope its a big update. I thought of posting after eid only but I hv posted it on eid itself, so u guys enjoy reading this update and I'll enjoy the eid celebrations. I hope I have written upto ur expectations. Without wasting much tym, lets move towards the story.
CHAPTER ONE
Shruti enters the sharma house worriedly n sees sharmas n kapoors eating sweets n congratulating each other. Shipra welcomes her n feeds sweets to her.
Shipra: apna munh meetha kar beta Ram aur Isha ki shaadi fix hogayi hai wo bhi isi hafte
Shruti was shocked but still she congratulates her and asks about Priya.
Shipra: hogi apne room mai,kal se kuch udas lag rahi hai, kuch bata bhi nhi rahi hai
Shruti:i dont know aunty, agar mujhe pata chala toh aapko zaroor bataungi
Shipra: theek hai beta
Shruti goes inside Priya's room n founds her crying hugging her teddy.
Shruti: Priya kya hua tujhe? Y r u crying?Priya hugs Shruti n sobs bitterly. Between her cries, she speaks: Shruti he dont love me, he loves Isha di... I have lost him for forever.
Shruti wipes Priya's tears,gives her water to drink n ask her to talk clearly.
Priya,after crying out her heart: isse pehle mai Ram ko kuch batati, Ram ne hi mujhe ye bata diya k wo di se shaadi karna chahta hai aur mai kuch nahi keh payi
Na main paas usko bula saki
Na main dil ke baat bata saki
Woh hansi hansi main he chal diye
Ke main hath tak na hila saki
Yun he sochti rahi door tak
Magar usko kuch na bata saki
Ye maqam he tha ajeeb sa ke
... Main khud ko bhi na bacha saki
Wo juda bhi aise hua ke mai
Koi rasam tak na nibha saki.
Shruti angrily: aise kaise karsakta hai wo, mai ja kar abhi ye sab band karwati hu aur sab ko ye batati hu k how much u love Ram
Priya: Shruti stop it,Ram koi toy nahi hai jo tu mujhe lakar degi...sab log kitne khush hai
Shruti: aur tu?
Priya:if Ram is happy, i am also happy
Shruti was not convinced so she again protested: par wo tere saath aisa kaise karsakta hai?
Priya pleadingly: Shruti he dont know anything, aur waise bhi i love him par usne kabhi koi aise signs nahi diye mujhe, I have mistaken his care n concern for love
Shruti helplessly: kya tu usey roz Isha k saath dekh payegi? Nahi dekh payegi, i know
Priya: isiliye maine India ke bahar jane ka faisla liya
Shruti: What? uncle tujhe jane dengey? aur kya solution nikala hai tu ne, is tarha achanak bahar jane ka reason kya degi sabko?
Priya: mujhe iske alawa aur kuch nahi suja, in sab se bahar nikal ne k liye Mujhe kuch tym chahiye aur rahi baat papa ki agar wo nahi mane toh mai unhe sab sach bata dungi
Shruti wid concern: tu Ram se nahi keh pa rahi hai nai, i'll speak to him
Priya: Shruti tu aisa kuch nahi karegi
Shruti angrily: fine, aise hi zindagi bhar rote baith mujhe kya
Krishna came to have few words wid Priya, heard the whole convo. She was feeling bad for Priya, she always wanted to make Priya her DIL but Ram has choosen Isha n she cant do anything.
Priya was trying to cheer up Shruti: Shruti meri taraf dekh na, pls
Shruti looks at her.
Priya with a puppy face: maine kal se kuch nahi khaya hai, I am damn hungry
Shruti coldly: jaise maine toh sirf khakar hi apna tym guzara hai
Priya happily: toh phir bahar chale lunch pe nahi toh mai bhuk ki wajah se hi marjaungi
Shruti wid a smile: mai tujhe itni jaldi marne nahi dungi, chal aur pehle apna huliya theek kar, tab tak mai aunty se keh deti hu k we r going out for lunch.
Priya: yes ma'm, bas 10 min mai aayi
When they at entrance, Ram to came Ram: Priya are u alright? Y were u not picking my calls.
Shruti who was already upset wid him, bursted on him: isse tumhe kya? uski marzi chahe tumse baat kare ya na kare
Priya interrupted: mai aur shruti lunch pe ja rahe hai, y dont u join us
Shruti glares at her: koi zaroorat nahi hai, mai bahar tera wait kar rahi hu agar 5 min mai nhi aayi toh mai tera murder kardungi
Priya, after Shruti has left: sorry
Ram: isey kya hua hai?
Priya: wo kal hum dono ka jhagda hogaya tha aur usne kal se kuch nahi khaya toh shayad bhuk ki wajah se pagal hogayi hai aur sabka dimag kha rahi hai
Ram smiles at her words: isiliye kal se tumhara phone switched off tha
Priya:haan
Ram: thank god!pata hai mai kitna darr gaya tha? Kal mujhse milne ke baad tumne na toh mujhe call kiya na koi message, I was so tensed…….. Promise me k chahe kuch bhi hojaye u'll not switched off ur phone
Priya:i promise u
Ram: waise tum kuch bhul rahi ho
Priya confusedly: kya?
Ram: meri shaadi fix hogayi hai aur tumne mujhe abhi tak congratulate nhi kiya
Priya: sorry, bhool gayi……….congratulations to u
Ram: thank u
Priya: u are very lucky k tumhari shaadi us insane se ho rahi hai jisse tum pyar karte ho……….har koi itna lucky nahi hota aur har kisi ko apna pyar nahi milta

Ram: Priya kya hua hai tumhe, aise kyun bol rahi ho
Priya: kuch nahi abhi ek sad movie dekhi toh isiliye
Ram:abhi jao lunch ke liye warna shruti aur gussa ho jayegi aur tumhara murder kardegi…..mai apni best friend ko khone ka risk nhi le sakta
Priya:bye
Ram hugs her n she feels lyk crying again,she breaks the hug n moves outside.
Ram shouts from behind:thoda zyaada khane se moti nhi ho jaogi,mere hisse ka bhi kha lena.
Priya smiles to him.
(I don't want to go in details of Ram n Isha's Marriagr functions, so directly skipping to Marriage.)
Shipra welcomed the barat, Priya also welcomed Ram n Ram asked her to be on his side throughout his marriage since he is little nervous. Priya promised him that she'll be wid him thru out the marriage. Ram was sitting in mandap and Priya was waiting for shruti's arrival as she'll feel comfortable wid her. Ram was constantly stealing glances of Priya and every time Priya will look at him with a smile, assuring him she is wid him.

But Priya was feeling suffocated at that place but she can't leave the place too because everyone will inquire about her and specially Ram. So with all the courage she was wearing a fake smile on her face and eagerly waiting for Shruti, her only solace at that tym.
Priest asked to bring down the bride. Shipra went to Isha's room to bring her dowm but to her surprise there was no trace of Isha. She has left a letter behind which reads:
I am sorry ma but I can't marry Ram since I love a guy from almost 2 years and can't live without him. You people have decided that I'll marry Ram without my consent. I did tried to accept your decision but I can't forget him that's y I have to take this drastic step.
Shipra felt as if the earth beneath her feet has slipped, she hurriedly called Sudhir, Amar n Krishna to a room and put forth the letter in front of them. Sudhir went numb for some moments. After gathering himself, he folded his hands infront of Amar to seek his forgiveness and asked him to take any action against them. Amar consoled him and advised him to think of a solution to come out of this mess.
Krishna expressed her concern over what story media will cook if this marriage will not happen? Media will not spare them and they have to face their allegations.
Krishna, with Amar's approval, suggested that they should marry off Ram to Priya. But sudhir argued what's Priya's fault in this? They cant punish her like this and he questioned Krishna whether Ram will accept Priya as his wife.
Amar assured him that Ram will accept Priya as his wife and they don't have any other alternate solutions. Shipra also voiced her opinion that Ram and Priya are very good friends and together they can pull off this relationship since they understand each other very well.
Krishna also expressed that she and Amar has always seen their daughter in law in Priya and if Ram had not chosen Isha they would have asked Priya's hand for Ram.
Sudhir was half convinced, he asked Shipra to put this proposal infront of Priya and if she agrees then only they'll take this step.
Shipra took Priya to Isha's room and gave her the letter left by Isha. Priya was shocked after reading the letter.
Priya: di bhag gayi?... how could she do this to Ram? Ram loves her so much and she has left him that too on their marriage day! Ma Ram will be so shattered, he'll break down ma
Shipra: but u can save him
Priya questioningly: what can I do in this? Mai kya karsakti hu?
Shipra wiping her tears: tu jaldi se ye shaadi ka joda pehen kar neeche aaja
Priya : ma pagal hogayi ho tum? Shaadi hai ya mazak ho raha hai? Aap aise soch bhi kaise sakte ho?
Shipra pleadingly: beta mai tere aage haath jodti hu pls is shaadi ke liye maan ja, neeche sab dulhan ka intezar kar rahe hai
Priya helplessly: but ma mai kaise…I can't do this
Shipra cryingly: pls beta maan ja, warna tere papa ki badnaami hogi aur wo ye bardasht nahi kar payenge
Priya was also crying by now: theek hai ma….but pehle mujhe Ram aur Papa se baat karni hai, unhe bulkar lao
Shipra goes outside to call Sudhir leaving confused Priya behind. Krishna , who was waiting outside the room, asks Shipra about Priya's decision
Shipra to Krishna: Priya ek bar Ram se aur sudhir se baat karna chahti hai
Krishna: aap neeche jayie mai baat karti hu Priya se
Inside room: priya was continuosly calling Ram on his cell but he was not picking her call. She murmurs, "Ram please pick up the phone, I neeed to talk to you, please'its important".
SINCE Ram was not picking her call, she textet him:
"Ram please meet me in di's room; I have something important to say u about di, pls come to di's room, pls; I need ur help"
There ram switched off his cell n thinks, "ye Priya bhi na, aaj meri shhaadi hai still mujhe tang kar rahi hai"
Krishna enters the room.
Priya: aap ne papa aur Ram se kaha k mujhe unse baat karni hai
Krishna: nahi
Priya: par kyu?
Krishna: Priya is waqt tumhare papa is halat mai nahi hai k tumse kuch keh sake
Priya pleadingly: par aunty aap janti hai k meri lyf k saare decisions sirf papa hi lete hai aur phir ye toh itna bada decision hai aur Ram, kya wo iss shaadi ke liye tayyar hoga, aap jante ho wo kabhi haan nhi kahega
Krishna: janti hu Priya k wo kabhi haan nahi kahega isiliye usey abhi tak nhi bataya, tumhari ek haan se Ram ki aur tumhare papa ki dono ki izzat bach jayegi, please Priya'.shayad tumhare papa bhi yehi chahte hai
Priya: par Ram ko jhoot aur dhoke se sakt nafrat hai, jab usey pata chalega ki uski shaadi mujhse hui hai wo bhi usey bataye bagair aur di apne boyfriend k saath bhag gayi hai toh aap janti ho kya anjam hoga?
Krishna: tum Ram se bahot pyar karti ho na, hamesha se
Priya stood dumfounded. She stammers: aap'.apko kaise pata?
Krishna: sawal ye nhi hai, tum pyar karti ho usse?
Priya with tears flowing from her eyes says yes.
Krishna: kya tum chahogi k uski badnaami ho, wo abhi business world mai apni image bana raha hai aur agar aaj uski shaadi nhi hui toh uski kitni badnaami hogi tum ye jaanti ho
Priya cryingly: haan mai hamesha se chahti thi k meri shaadi Ram se ho par is tarha usey andhere mai rakh kar nahi
Krishna: Priya ye tym emotional hone ka nahi hai, zara khidki ke bahar dekho tumhare ma papa ki kya halat hai, mujhe jo kehna tha wo maine keh diya, ab aage tumhari marzi
With that Krishna left the room. Priya stand near the window n looks at her parents. They were completely shattered after her sister has eloped from the marriage and she glances at Ram too, who was so happy n smile was not leaving his face. He was so excited that he was going to marry the girl to whom he loves.
Priya had to decide her fate. Though she always dreamt of marrying Ram but not under this circumstances''..without informing Ram'.. she knew Ram's anger n also how much he hate people who deceives him or cheat him. She don't want to marry him thinking what if after marriage if she loses his friendhip too. But Krishna was also right, it will bring him bad name n there are many rivals who can bring him much defame. He is very near to be the number one businessman of country and also her father reputation is also at stake.
She is totally caught between her heart n mind. She don't know to whom to follow: mind or Heart? She has never thought that her life will take her to the point where she has to take such a drastic decision.
After fighting the battle within her mind and her heart, she decided that she'll marry Ram just for his sake and her father's sake. She came out of the room all ready like a bride. Krishna and Shipra took her to the mandap, made her sit beside ram. Ram's happiness knew no bound. He whispered in bride's ear: I promise I'll always keep you happy.
Listening this Priya felt very bad, she felt lyk killing herself rather than cheating Ram. She again questioned herself," am I doing right?" but it was too late as the rituals of marriage were started. Ram was looking in every nook n corner of the hall to get a glimpse of Priya but he couldn't find her.
He enquired Shipra about the same: ma Priya kahin nazar nahi aarahi hai? Kahan par hai wo
Shipra: yahin kahin hogi, kahan jaegi
Ram: yahin kahin matlab….. mujhe toh kahin nazar nahi aari
Shipra was feeling helpless but she handled the situation: Shruti…….wo Shruti abhi tak shaadi mai nahi aayi na toh usey hi lene gayi hai
Ram: iss waqt…….meri shaadi chod kar…..usne promise kiya tha k wo poora tym mere saath rahegi
shipra covered up saying: tum jante ho na beta ek hi toh dost hai uski isiliye gayi hai
Ram making faces: Priya hamesha mujhse zyaada importance Shruti ko hi deti hai, par koi baat nahi akhir Shruti itni achi dost jo hai uski...,aap usey phone karke jaldi aane ko kahiye
Shipra: haan abhi karti hu
Priya was relieved that her mother has convinced him but again her mind put a new question, "what after marriage?"
All rituals were completed n they were declared as husband n wife. They took blessings of everyone. As the tym to reveal everything to Ram was coming near, Priya's heart was beating faster n faster n faster as if it'll come outside the very next moment.
Finally everyone has left only Kapoors n Sharmas were left.
Amar: Ram chalo, ab hame bhi chalna chahiye
Ram: one min dad, Priya kaha hai?abhi tak wapas nahi aayi kya
Meera walks towards Priya n lifting her ghunghat says:Ram... Priya yahan hai
Priya was standing lowering her head, she was unable to make contact wid Ram.
Ram angrily advances towards Priya: ye kya mazak hai Priya? Isha kaha hai
Meera: Isha has eloped wid her boyfriend thats y we have
Ram cut her out in middle: ghar chale mom
Everyone was astonished wid his behaviour, suddenly he has become so calm.
The journey from Sharma house to Kapoor mansion was covered in silence. No one spoke a word , everyone was trying to figure out change in Ram's behavior.
In Ram n Priya's car, Priya was constantly looking at him trying to read out what is going on in his mind but she couldn't read it. Ram was not giving any expressions, he was cold as stone.
Krishna's words were ringing in Priya's mind," mera Ram kabhi kisi pe gussa nahi hota lekin agar gussa aajaye toh he will be at his worst". Priya was praying to god to save her from Ram's wrath but somewhere she had slight idea what she'll go through tonight and was preparing herself mentally.
Everyone reached Kapoor Mansion, all grah pravesh rituals were perfomed but still Ram was not reacting. Finally everyone took Priya to Ram's room where Ram was already present and after Priya entered the room, someone from outsidebolted the door.
Priya looked at Ram, he was standing near window lost into his thoughts. Gathering all her courage, Priya called Ram from behind and this provoked the Ram's anger which he was holding back. He turned towards Priya and held her hands very roughly breaking the bangles of her hand. Seeing his anger, Priya couldn't uttered a single word infront of him because she has never faced anyone's anger in her life, this was first tym she was facing someone's anger and that too Ram's.
Ram angrily: kya kehna chahti ho tum? Kuch baaki reh gaya hai kya
Priya spoke gathering all her courage: Ram……wo ….mai wo……mai
Ram: kya kehna chahti ho, speak up Priya
Tears were flowing continuosly thru her eyes and she was unable to speak.
Ram continued: kya soch kar tumne mujhse shaadi ki……….socha hoga k meri behen toh shaadi se bhag gayi toh mai hi is bechare pe ehsan kardeti hu isse shaadi karke, yehi socha na(Priya was nodding her head in no)…… but tumne bahot galat socha(he was making his grip tighter on her hands making her bangles to pierce into her skin, she winced in pain but of no use) takleef ho rahi hai, mujhe bhi ho rahi hai aura b toh tumhe ye takleef zindagi bhar jhelni hogi…….. tumhe apni patni maan na toh bahot dur ki baat hai aaj se balki abhi se hamare beech jo dosti ka rishta thaw o bhi khatam………tum aaj se mere liye sirf ek ajnabee ho aur kuch nahi
With that he left her hands and went towards the bed to sleep. Priya was crying ,cursing herself, y she has taken this decision,, they pain which she feeling by seeing Ram's pain was much than the pain Ram has given her.
Dard jitna hai meri nigaho main...
Na de khuda kisi ki rahon main...
Beetana chate the zindagi jinki baho main...
shyd maut bhi na mil payegi unki panaho main...
Note: The poetry that I have written, is from my collection, i do have interesrt in poetry but i dont write but collect them so I have taken it from my collection and included itin story thinking it's go down well with the situations. please do read and comment (negative feedback also welcomed). will be waiting for ur comments.
