WHY RAM THINK THAT AND WHY THE RELATION IS NOW ROTTEN??

Mahu
Thanks dear.
Iam gonna paste Vardini's response to my post which explains the TAKEN FOR GRANTED. Couldn't have done a better job at explaining that.
She took ME for Granted!!!

The Dialogue of BALH Season-2 …. It was PERFECT!!!! The writer please do the honors of standing up and take a bow… If Season-1 was all about two different people discovering each other and TLC in a marriage… Then certainly Season-2 is about how one should not take your partner or for the matter any relationship for granted.

It HURTS, cruelly, terribly; it hurts when you come to know that the other person has taken you for granted for whatever reason it might be. That you are little worth in their lives… And My God Mr. Raging Bull Kapoor portrayed those emotions beautifully. Of course he LOVES her…in fact I think he worships her… but she did a mistake of taking him for a ride… and that feeling is HORRIBLE!!! And he now feels like a fool to have kept her alive all these years, providing free leverages to that down-trodden shipra and conda just out of his love for her. Imagine how much he loves her.

All his life he was taken for granted, by his own biological mother who chose to walk out of his life and pretended to do a favor on him. Hi step-family who used him like an ATM machine… There were only two relationships in life… his best friends, and his wife… Both of them hid the truth from him. I am wondering how he is still holding himself… I would have created much more havoc… making lives hell…

Yes, perfect Angie, You said it all that I wanted to say. Great take, Loved your Jai viru comparison, I am really waiting for their conversation tomorrow, I really hope Cvs do some justice. Last scene was so lovely, Ram had tears in his eyes, he still loves his Priya a lot. It was so beautiful. RK nailed it. hurt anger and love..That is the reason we all love him so much.I also loved Nutz today, She showed Ayesha her place, can't imagine she is Priya's real sister.
and yes WOW moment of the day was "Get out" 😃 , mere kaan taras gaye the.. I was so happy to hear it, finally idiot woman, can not stand her for a minute on screen. by the way today mamaji was good too, loved his lines..😆 after a long time.. Although I have to agree that he was awesome with NIharika. Their jodi was perfect, A does not fit the bill.. Anyway hoping for rocking episode tomorrow, wish all four (RPVN)get the old magic back...

Priya
I think it was the CVs answer to folks who wondered if Ram loved Priya. And to show his reasoning for his actions. IAm glad they are doing it.
Get out was just music to my ears! HE treated her like a secretary to just do the orders and not interrupt.
Mamaji surely is trying his level best to keep giving us his two cents to lighten up the mood. IT definitely worked better wit Nih.
Hoping for a parallel convo today between the men and their wives!

Hi angie.

What an episode it was eh? While there were lots of filler moments.. I thought addressing Ram's grief and the cause of his anger made the episode.

How many times have we banged our heads about this taken for granted line??? Innumerable... and finally hearing it from the man himself made my day. If there was one thing that rankled about Priya's life in the past 5 years is the fact that she thought there was no need to contact Ram... she says she wanted him to move on and lead a happy life when in reality it was she who had moved on. And she had... there is no question about it... she had constructed a life for herself with her child and was happy with it! She struggled yes and maybe she thought about Ram on and off but she had categorically moved on.

I think Ram's anger is more than anything directed towards Priya's staying away from him. He is not able to see how she could have not wanted to contact him..And that is why he wonders if his love is getting taken for granted. Every time he addresses Priya's betrayal... the first line he says is "You kept yourself hidden from me for the past 5 years" Going over the past 15 episodes, this is his first line.. reference to Peehu comes only next... but he is focussing on Peehu right now..Has anyone stopped to think and wonder why? Because he knows he will break if he wonders why Priya did not trust their love to withstand the storm that filled their lives... and also he will have to face the fact that she took his love for granted.. she thought he will move on!!! That hurts and it hurts like hell. That hurt is manifesting as anger.

Today when he put Ayesha in her place..he did not shout or scream like he did when she put natasha's secret out in public.. he just told her what he felt. Priya is the only woman who matters to him. While she thought that he had moved on... he knew that she would never think of anyone else!! What faith and what trust!!! So it is only natural that he react to being taken for granted!! People are aghast that he wants to separate Peehu from her mom... wonder why? Priya made her choice of leading a life with peehu alone... the best way to get to her is to show her how life would be without the one who she loves the most!!

And another thing that must be rankling in his mind... Priya had no intention of meeting with him this time too. The fact that she would have gone back to Dubai if it had not been for the accidental meeting must be grating his nerves like hell man!! He is not just reacting to her hiding, he is reacting to her wanting to stay hidden... that destiny had another thing to say is a vastly different story!!

There were some other parts of the episode that were not just heart warming... they were great displays of true emotion!!!! Natasha proved in her bindass style that she is a force to reckon with in her interaction with Ayesha..kudos to sumona for this... there is no other character in the show who has grown really 'slipped, fell, bruised, gotup. Dusted herself and started again- this gal has done it all and with panache and elan!!! GO NATASHA GO was the refrain in my mind.

The other heartwarming scene that blew my mind away was the heart to heart talk between Vikram and Ram . If Neha rushed to her children to offer them solace, where does Vikram go ' to see his best friend ' because no one ...sorry PRK fans... even Priya does not know Ram as well as Vikram does. Vikram realises that what is happening in their lives affects Ram a great deal and he rushes to him. What made the scene special was the fact that neither did Ram nor Vikram rant... Both projected their deepest anguish at the way their loves and lives were fragmenting around them and the fact that they were powerless to stop the tides of change. When I saw those hurt and anguish filled eyes of Ram when Vikram asks him about his constant love for Priya... my heart went smashing to a gazillion pieces... and my mind dropped it's jaw wondering how one person could, without moving a limb, portray grief, anguish, hatred, love, pain and anger in one stroke!!!

My dream scene of the day was undoubtedly this!!!

In fact this scene mattered more to me than the putting ayesha in her place one did!!!

Soul sista!!
Just take a bow!! Make a separate post out of this comment! The world needs to see!!

Angie and N,

Both of you were very right.
But, I have a slightly different take on this 'taken for granted' dialogue. Ram says Priya took him for granted. But did she? For me that line has a slightly different shade of meaning. In my books, 'she gave up on him very easily'. I'm leaving for his good and he must've moved on. Took quick decisions like these. She assumed the minimum mouring period for her death from Ram. That was wrong. Ek ear ring episode jo suna, bas usi ko maan kar decide kar liya. She still doesn't want to claim him. Thought the 'took him for granted' dialogue was a little out of place. You take people for granted when you are around them and are so used to them. There was nothing in Ram and Priya's life that suggests this. They are lovable, righteous people and loved each other so much. But didn't live together enough to take each other for granted. They were always on the edge due to their family. His silence did say it all though. His love for Priya is undiminished, but the hurt that she easily gave up on him is too much to handle. I hope they continue this lot of meaningful dialogues from Ram and Vikram. Its very much needed, this sound logic coming from Ram.
Priya might jump in to help Vikram n Neha and Vikram will hopefully say,"First you fix your life Priya. Ram is in misery and reach out to him". I am really waiting for that conversation.
Ram was as clear and emphatic as he could be with Ayesha. Loved that. Hope Natasha keeps talking to him and communicating to him. And where is Sowmya? Why was she even brought in the show. I hope CVs surprise me soon.
Vikram running to Ram said a lot. He was more worried about Ram being upset. Such an understanding.
Hoping to see more meaningful dialogues especially from Ram which is the need of the hour. Loved his reactions today.
Blooper remains. Vikram, Neha and family are in their house around cake table and Rahul asks his siblings to go their rooms. Vikram says that too to Neha that she should be with kids. Then, where were Sharmas and Priya? Terrible blooper.

The blooper was clearly a huge one. Looks like they lost out the place in the sake of drama!

I just remm one line from the movie .cheeni kum.where the small girl child says to Big B, jo log hame khushi dete hai, wahi log hame dard pahucha sakte hai..what she said was something like, you were happy yesterday and now you are sad...so youa re happy sad//something like that she says, and which is so true for everyone !!

This is what we have been banging our heads about, explaining his reactions...and now the reasons are loud and clear for all to interpret. This is next best epi since the RB avatar of Ram. I'm so Loving it. So Proud of Ram today. Didn't let us down. :)

Absolutely dear!! I loved those dialogues and the delivery was hit out of the park. Reasons are loud and clear but it depends on whether you want to interpret or stay in your bubble that he hates her for no reason.
Iam a Proud fan too!! He didn't let us down! Hardly does too! Woot Woot!

Angie, was missing your takes, glad to see one.

Taken for granted, well the line was surely the highlight. Yes, CV's have talked abt something practical & happening around. We often take our loved one's for granted, but we got to analyze the situation & take decisions, the line was echoing even after the episode was over. There's lot of room to show the emotional turmoil & would think it's the appropriate time to bring on some RK & KK scenes which I feel we have been deprived. CV's time to cash on..

Let's wait wht we have in store!

Crystal
Thank you!! And Iam glad they have taken this drama in a realistic sense. The anger is real, so is the hurt and emotions. When they stem from being taken for granted, which is a real life case, people respond to it based on their personality. I agree about the room to show the turmoil. Bring on RK and KK! Hope they don't make KK give some stupid dialogues like last time..
Can't wait to see some RK KK, RaYa and RK PK scenes!
