Ram starts running panicking. This is the first time he has seen Priya so vulnerable. He is not use to it. He takes out his panic pills and is about to pop one in his mouth. Just then he hears Priya talking in her sleep. Ram aap kaha hai. Ram I I I ''''''''''
R: Priya ( The word came out of his mouth like a mother would call a child, the same concern and love ) mein yahi hoon.Tumhare paas.
He holds her hand gives a kiss. While a tear rolls down his eyes. Priya is still murmuring due to high fever. There was a first aid box in the room. He gets that checks her fever. She was burning and shivering. It came to 103. He gets up and starts panicking with the fear in his eyes of loosing her. The anger, the betrayal nothing was there. He quickly holds her up and puts her gently in her arms covering her totally within him.
R: Priya hospital jaana hoga.
P: still not really conscious but says no.
Ram does not even ask her once why not. Just gives in to her wish. Calls for doctor on call. Doctor arrives and gives her an injection. The needly goes in and tear rolls out of Rams eyes. He wanted hurt her but not in his wildest dream did he want her ill or die. The doctor tells Ram that she needs to be attended for 24 hours and put wet cloth on her head. And if the fever rises by a point take her in the bathroom and give her a cold water shower. The doctor gives meds and leaves.
Ram calls for warm milk. And makes priya drink the milk with meds. He sits next to her and wonders how she got so much fever. And remembers the phone call. He has no words to say anything just a tear rolls out his eyes. He holds her in her arms the whole night and keeps her warm. And occasionally keeps touching her forehead to check the fever. While touching her he notices the needle mark. He takes her hand and gives her a kiss there. Priya still unconscious unknown that she is in the arms of her life. The whole night he just keeps looking at her and then falls asleep on the chair next to her bed.
Priya Wakes up and notices Ram there. She checks the time and its 7am. She looks for Peehu. She is no where. She says Mr. Kapoor. Ram wakes up within a second. But the love that was there in his eyes in the night vanishes looking at priya wide awake.
P: Where is Peehu
R: Tumhe fever tha isliye meine use Nana nani e ghar mein hi rehne diya. Kahi use bukhar na ho jaaye.
P: Oh okay Thanks. She almosts falls since she is weak.
Ram holds her and puts her on the bed. And tells her I will tell the doctor to come and check on you. Bye
With that he just leaves. Priya unaware of what happened in the night after she got fever. Just wonders if he took care of her or not. But deep within she is sure he was awake all night.
