Part-9 - Flashback VIII:

She lies back on the bed, her head resting on his left arm. His right hand intertwined with her left hand. (Looking deeply into her eyes)

Ram: I missed you so much all these days (Starts nuzzling her neck, collarbone)

Priya: Me too (Fingers running through his hairs at the neck)

Ram: Yeh kya pehena hain tumney aaj? (Starts kissing her collarbone & the bare skin surface around it. )

Priya: (Dazed) Backless blouse (Holding her fingers firmly around his neck) Natasha has gifted me.

Ram: (Leaves her hand, turns her slightly starts running his fingers on her bare back) Chhoti is smart.

Priya: Why?

Ram: Things getting easier for me (Starts to push his finger under the fabric)

Priya: (Stopping his hand to move further, laughs in his ear) its only backless Raam.

Ram: Do they have other options also? (Naughty smile, tickling her skin)

Priya: Woh toh aapki Smart Sister se pucchna hoga? (Gets tickling sensation)Stop it Ram 'Please' (Pleads) (He rests her, back in bed. Touches her nose by his)

Ram: So what was your 'Lots of work'? (Looks into her eyes, starts touching her face lightly by his lips)

Priya: I wanted to get ready (Smiles gazing at his lips)

Ram: Ohh..I am so sorry; I forget that we have to go out for dinner (Starts to move away, she still urges for his lips on hers)

Priya: Raam (Moving upward grabs his collar tightly, brings her lips close to his)

Ram: Kya kar rahi ho? Your make-up will get ruined? (Before he completes the sentence)

She seals his upper lip by hers, pressing with force. He takes them into his lips responding with equal passion. The kiss gets deeper as the seconds transforms into minutes.

Priya breaks the kiss gasping for air. Both remained dazed .He smiles at her…she realizes her behavior, lowers her eyes…

Ram: Someone has ruined her 'Lots of work' in few seconds. (Teases with eyes)

Priya: I got ready for you & you were getting worried about the make-up. (Still blushing)

Ram: Ok sorry …I will make up for that (Grabs her close)

He covers her mouth with his. Priya's cell phone rings …involuntarily they separate. She gets up, picks up the phone, now talking on phone at the same time adjusting her saree by other hand. Apeksha talks on the other end. Priya had called her when she was at Papa's place. Priya was feeling very down because of that fight with Ram. She didn't tell about their fight but Krishnaji realized that something was wrong by Priya's sad voice. Krishnaji had asked Apeksha to call Priya.

Apeksha: Hello.

Priya: Haa…hello (Ram comes & stands behind her)

Apeksha: Bhabhi aap theek toh ho na? Sab kuch theek hai na?

Priya: Aree Aparna…kitnay dino ke baad phone kar rahi ho? (Ram is standing behind busy in nuzzling her neck, hands tickling her belly)She caresses his cheek by her hand.

Apeksha: (Understands that Priya can't talk) I am sorry Bhabhi. Baad main call karti hun.

Priya:(Pretends ) Haa..main theek hun. How are you? (Ram kisses passionately on her collarbone …continues it, bites unknowingly) Oouch!( She shouts loudly, he looks at her perplexed)

Apeksha: Kya hua? (Tensed)

Priya: Kuch nahi shayad maccharne kaata! (Hits lightly on his chest by her elbow, gives him a look. What are you doing?)

Ram: (In low voice) Mujhe Macchar kahan..abhi dekhta hun. (Pinches her belly)

Apeksh: Chalo main rakhti hun.Bye.

Priya: Bye.

Both ended their convo.

Priya: Toh kya kaheti 'The Ram Kapoor'ne kaata' (Laughs)

Ram: Not a bad idea.

Priya: (Turns to him now, rests her hands on his shoulders) Aap mujhe kyon pareshaan kar rahey thai?Meri dost kya sochegi?( She buries her face against his chest)

Ram: Pareshaan toh humey tumhari dostney kiya. She disturbed us. Chalo abb dinner ke liye chaltey hain.

Ram & Priya got ready for the dinner. They reached to the 'Mostly Grills' the open air 'Roof top' restaurant of the Orchid. It has a bird's eye-view of the airport on one side & pool on the other. They were enjoying the Barbeque food the restaurant offers. Of course Priya was enjoying their food. One lady calls 'Hiii Ram' approaching their table. She looks like a model, tall & very beautiful. She has an affectionate smile.

Ram & Priya both look at her. Wide smile spreads on Ram's face looking at her.

Ram: Sushmita…(Stands up to greet her)

Sushmita: Sushmita nahi only Sush( Laughs & hugs him, he too hugs her back) Priya is looking at them.(Wondering who is she)

Ram introduces them with each other. Sush was Ram's junior in the college. Both were very happy to meet after so many years coincidently. Ram asks her to join them; she refuses politely but agrees to have a cocktail.

Sush: Priya tumbhi kuch drink bolo na.

Priya: Main…

Ram: (Shouts) Nooo, ussey nahi chahiye. She doesn't drink. (Scares remembering past experiences)Priya's face pales.

Sush: Tum kyon beech main bol rahey ho? Main ussey baat kar rahi hun.

Priya: Sorry, but I don't drink. (Looks at Ram)

Sush: Okk. Toh phir theek hain.BTW Raam your wife is very pretty.

Ram- Priya exchange a look.

Sush: Priya tumhey pata hai college main ladkey bikes pe aatey thai ladkiyo pe impression jamaney ke liye. Yeh Ram akela ladka tha jo apni Angrjo ke jamaaney ki 'Royal Enfield'pe kisi ladki ko baithney nahi deta tha.Tumhey toh diya hoga na?Kaheta tha yeh bike main sambhalke rakhunga.

Priya:Nahi, mujhe nahi bithaya.

Ram: Arre, tum dono bhi na mein abb bikepe baith sakta hun kya? (Irritates)

Sush: Priya waisebhi yeh kisi ladki ke saath baat nahi karta tha, ek din hum camp ke liye gaye thai toh kuch gundey hum ladkiyoko chhed rahey thai. Uss din Ram aur Vikram intelligently act nahi kartey toh…(Stops) From that day I started knowing him better. We became good friends.

Ram: 'Basanti' chupbhi karo abb aur kya kya bataogi

Sush: Aur bahot saari baate bataungi. Mujhe pata hai tum toh nahi bologey aur Vikram bhi nahi.

Afterall main ek ladki hun. That makes a difference.

Ram: Accha meri Maa..chalu rakho tumhara taperecord.

The drinks come. Sush being very joyful, talkative continues to talk.

Sush: Ram ke daadaji ka bunglow hain Lonavla main.Hum sab friends wahanpe picnicke liye jaate thai.Woh bunglow hain na Ram?

Ram: Haa, caretaker hain wahanpe.

Sush: Priya,tum jaroor jaao wahape, it's very beautiful.Ram tum Priyako wahanpe leaky nahi gaye. You are so unromantic Ram.

Priya: Accha hua 'Sush' tum mili aaj. Sacchi, yeh sab baatein meray saath kabhi share nahi kiyi thi inhoney.Thank you so much.

Sush: Aur intercollege festivals main, koi bhi 'food eating' competition Ram jeet kay aata tha( Laughs)

Priya blushes. Ram gets irritated. But they all had a great time with each other. Sush gets up to leave.

Sush: Okk, bye guys. I had a great time with you.main chalti hun. Keep in touch.

Both R & P: Okkk bye. We too had a gr8 fun.

Sush: (Comes near to Priya) Nice design Priya.( Lowers her gaze pointing at reddish imprint on Priya's collarbone, smiles sweetly)

Priya flushes, realizes what Ram had done while she was talking with Apeksha. Sush leaves. Priya's mind becomes restless, tries to hide the bite with her hairs but fails due to the breeze. Ram observes her.

Ram: Kya hua? Are you ok?

Priya: Raam chaltey hai na abb, if you have finished (Nervous)

Ram: Ruko na…look at the sky you like the star gazing na?

Priya: I like it but …right now I want to go back to the room.

Ram: Hehehe…you are getting desperate or what? (Naughty smile looks into her eyes)

Priya: (Shouts) I am going…give me the key.

Ram: Okkk..

He paid the bill. He asks her to go to the room; he will be back in few minutes.

He comes. Priya is sitting at the dressing table observing the mark, recollecting, wondering how many people must have seen it.

Ram: Priya, tum khaogi na pastry? (He has got two pieces of pastries from the cake shop, starts opening the box)

Priya: Abhi toh itna khaana khaya hai humney.

Ram: Theeck hain main khata hun, yaad hain na main kitna cake kha sakta hun (Reminding their night at hotel, starts eating it)

She can see his reflection in the mirror. He is sitting on the chair & busy in eating.

Priya: (Murmurs) Kya SMS kar rahey thai, subah honey na de…yahan khaney se fursat miley toh na)

He too is watching her & enjoys her sulking.

Ram: (Finishes his pastry & starts eating her) Priya soch lo? Tumhey nahi chahiye na, it's yummy. She sees in the mirror…the pastry with strawberry.

Priya: Mujhe strawberry chahiye.

Ram: Khana hain toh pura piece kha jaao, sirf strawberry nahi milegi(Teases her looking in the mirror)

She gets up & walk towards him in determination…he has already taken the strawberry in the spoon. She holds his hand to stop from eating the strawberry; he hurriedly pushes it in his mouth. She presses her mouth against his…they struggle to win the battle. After few seconds they separate, she licks her mouth with her tongue.

Priya: It was indeed delicious. ( With winning smile)
