If atleast not missing, atleast I would stay neither in my maaika nor in my sasural. Poor PK felt bad for her when she was told by her husband that he doesn't want her back and when Shipra sent her away. She must have felt like abandoned. The great thing is she has risen high and straight. Was just remembering a few famous lines I read way back in 2001.
" Past should be a springboard not a hammock"
Could relate her a lot to the character of Jennifer Parker of The Rage of Angels of Sidney Sheldon. It is one of my very favourite female protagonists. She was always a winner.
Also don't u guys think CVs are reading a lot of stuff from IF about PK being more of PS than PK.😉

Actually i am feeling the same...I would go missing. wot the hell no one seems to care a fig about her. Let Nutz surface and tell all (if at all) and let Ram and Sharma's look for her. If i was her i woud go to KK's flatand live there quietly for sometime. Out of sheer anger and hurt. But then i am not Priya she will still try to find a solution and if that is seperation so be it. sigh!!!!

Its tough being a woman and that is a fact. As a Married woman I can relate to what Priya said. She was a Sharma and some where or the other we always have a soft corner for our parents/ siblings.

Its not easy to give up a family one is born into raised within 6 mths of marriage it takes ages for us to adapt to the new family...and depending how we are accepted plays a catalyst Priya having to chose sides and return home to her Sasural when her Dad was sick was really sad.

Why does a WOMAN have to go through this turmoil...?

So true and life is already complicated. Its too bad to leave her ill dad to her husband who just told her he doesn't want her back.😭

Very nice post chitra.. and i understand where you are coming from... i truly truly truly felt bad for Priya... yess Ram was not wrong with his point of view... but the way she was treated first by her husband "I don't want you back" then mother told her "Go back to ur husband, he is your priority now" Why why only a woman's priority should be changed after marriage... where there she spent more than 30 years of her life, forget it all and embrace the new changes.. she does that but expecting her not to be there for them in their rough time, is completely unfair...

Chitra - i would have shown a finger to them ALL and said " when you all grown up.. let me know" and to Ram - " When you wanna Grow up.. open your eyes and feel like really being married.. come look me up AND i will think about taking you back"

But thats just me.. 😉
