In my opinion, BALH enjoys the status of a 'star serial' in Sony which the serial 'Junoon' enjoyed on DD in the mid 90s...both are totally different stories from each other...but the reason behind their popularity...ur views on it...hope this topic would be worth discussing...

Me too sorry i don't have any idea about that serial , bur BALH really rock one of the best serial ever, Loved RaYa chemistry

For all your information's sake, Junoon is a trend setting TV serial which appeared on Doordarshan in the mid 90s...we all used to watch it...senior members of this forum would know about it...it all happened before cable TV came...😊😛...BALH is so popular in Sony, I was reminded of Junoon's popularity in Doordarshan

yes I agree with you totally, infact I used to watch that, but unfortunately I forget the story line now, it was the trendsetter serial during those days when cable TV was about to come

sorry i also not know about junoon serial...but i agree...balh is best shaw ever i have seen...its only bcose of rashi...

rashi make it more popular...& awesome...we are adicted with balh due to rashi.

Junoon was great serial and saudagar singh character played by punnet isar . show was about 2 friend one was police officer and other was don and their family and other many characters . junoon and itihaas were best shows on DD .

junoon was my father favourite show .

Thanks for all your replies...I go back to my childhood days thinking of Junoon...Tom Alter was my favourite actor at that time...he played the role of Keshav Kalsi the don...Kitu Gidwani played his wife...the story was very intense...it was just the time Ekta Kapoor was entering the entertainment industry...I remember itihaas too...it was a family story revolving the stories of 3 families...

yes i remember keshav kalsi and his wife and his wife ex husband and keshav kalsi mother 2nd husband family and many more i wish i could see junoon and itihaas again . itihas was story of 3 sister family and minister and don family and younger sister revenge and love story of don and minister kids . wow i still remember all this
