A mindblowing episode and worth every second and millisecond of wait and torture every fan endured over the past 3 days!! CV's Hats off for showing us the precap making all of us go crazy and wonder if the confession would even happen. For once, you proved to be right in keep the audience guessing. Throw more such precaps over the best scene of the day. I would take it anyday!!
Since there is sooo much today, I am gonna break it in two parts.
Do you remember the scorecard I mentioned in the previous take:
Misunderstanding and Anger VS Helpless and pushed to the core
Today it was about a mirror of misunderstanding and anger. It was our leads pushing themselves harder in the pit but thankfully it doesn't take any longer than a few minutes!!
A passionate confession happened one way at the end of it.. Pretense was not required any longer. It was not about making the first move towards the confession as much as about getting their worst fears and misunderstandings out! Indeed.. It was a worth every second of watching the best in the industry perform their characters and bringing them to life! It was not RK and Sakshi but Ram Kapoor the business tycoon and Priya Kapoor the professor who were left in the final screen for me!! Hats off to you guys!! Ram and Sakshi.. You rocked the worlds of your fans today!! The best part in all this.. The deal is still not done!! Priya has thrown it off her chest and its Ram Kapoor who has to make this right. And boy oh boy!! I think its just getting better!
The story progressed in 3 steps today:
1)Continuation of pretense:
Vikram and Ram end up sleeping the whole night in their respective cars while their biwi's are fretting at home. Once Ram wakes up, his anger is multiplied since Priya' has not showed concern by calling him atleast once. The fact that he was gonna go ahead iwth a confession and making a fool of himself adds to tht misunderstanding and anger rises in barometer! Priya on the other hand is mad becoz Ram hasn't called her the whole night and she has not slept waiting for him. Looks like Neha gave her a final dose on handling when husbands get back!😡 So she decides to pretend having a good nap on the couch when hearing Ram's steps at home.
Their minds have been tuned that the other person has no concern and it reflects in their expressions and actions. Ram is fuming when he sees Priya taking a nap and there goes the convo 1 of misunderstanding! Priya adds fuel to fire by pretending to have taken such a wonderful nap coz of being tired and not even noticing his absence through the night.
They get taking digs at each other and did they have the most realistic husband and wife convo.😃 It all starts with the most polite conversation of missing their bachelor life and wife not showing any regrets and playing along. Priya egging him that he could always go back to his bachelor life by repeating his night most often. She adds that by doing so he would indeed be doing a favor for her as his missing karate would enhance her sleep! Ram agrees to stay away from the room as much as possible so that she could have a peaceful sleep. Then Priya retorts that atleast one of her irritation would be down.
Men do have a shorter sustaining power in this fighting thanks to their fuse breaking down much earlier.And Ram being Golu cannot do the sweet talking fighting anymore. He loses his cool and gets directly to the point.
2) YOU HATE ME AND I KNOW IT!! Guess what I didn't like it.
Btw.. Tom and Jerry have officially resigned and gone off air after watching these two today😆
That sums up the next conversation of our leads. First it was Ram's helplessness and pushed to the core which then got compounded with the misunderstanding of Priya's not caring attitude and these words don't seem to be helping. There Priya on Neha's insistence fails to get the attention and flustered by the reactions of Ram! They seem to be thinking that the other person hates them and oops.. That was not the expected reaction. So all hell breaks loose!
Instead of those pretend fighting through words, they decide to get into battlefield directly.
Ram lets it out know tht his biggest problem is Priya and its mutual! When Priya questions his logic of coming to the conclusion, he lets her know tht she needn't do anything. She doesn't let him know what's in her mind through her words but her actions reveal everything. Priya takes it to heart and gives him an earful of how he seems to think abt knowing everything but has no clue of whts on her mind as he cannot see anything apart from himself.That leads to the argument of Ram being an emotional fool rightly agreed by Priya who calls it a Happy Realization. And our man has had his last shot of fuse turned into ashes. He starts off giving examples of those times he has provided support to her like her health crisis and pins it on merely serving his duty. He attempts to clear out the air abt no emotions being attached there and Priya is more than willing to convince him that she never had any such expectations.She clears it off that she always thought it was either out of responsibility or duty that he performed those actions!! OMG.. Tht hit the heart of our poor GOLU really hard.. Bechara.. He tries to cover up that he was happy to hear it and blurts it out he actually started having emotions and feelings for her. His step faltered and he couldn't get himself to go to the US but thankfully now that he knows all tht was bakwaas.
EXPECTATIONS,EXPECTATIONS AND EXPECTATIONS: Isn't it this is all about?
Ram is glad that she doesn't have expectations and Priya adds that if she knew that he wanted to hear this from her.. She would have let him know this ages ago!! Now that they have no expectations... they are wondering abt logistics now😆 Oh God.. these two.. Since they are happy with their respective space why do they need to be sharing the room. There goes the tiff abt who will shift to the guest room and they start fighting why they should be the one to move over there. Really? Now we don't fight for the bedroom but the guestroom.. They have officially lost it. So he tells her tht its becoz it's no longer his room since she has changed even the wall decor.And Priya retorts that she is glad that finally he even noticed it and she would reverse everything in the next 2 days and gets ready to move to the guest room.Ram is on the edge.. He was not ready for all this loss in the argument and makes the final pitch. He remembers that he has not let his disappointment with her flirting known. No expectations do lead to this u see.😆 He starts off asking her to take Ronit's number before she leaves the room and reminds her that since she was chipkaofying to him throughout. Priya asks him to provide the number which ends up being the final nail on the coffin of Ram's love! His worst fears have come true.Those little hopes that those mindless flirting meant nothing got thrown across the window when she said yes for the number. Man goes berserk! He throws words meaninglessly accusing thats the kind of woman she was. He felt those strange things that she needed his shoulder for crying during those hard times. And now that she is fit and fine, she wants to go to Ronit. He was gonna fulfill her wishes starting from a romantic dinner and candle light dinner and set it up! What's more that he would even arrange a suite in case she needs to go ahead.That makes the silent priya lose her mind! Those words were the last thing that she needed to hear from the man she loved!
The push from Priya gets Ram shaken and immediately he realizes the extent of his words. Those expressions start showing remorse and so does his actions.But he was too far in this to step back. Sakshi the lioness has heard it all and she is no meek lamb. She was gonna give this man a showdown and what a better time than a man being naked after draining his emotions!
