Great post again, Vasu...though I did not like the episode much...only saving grace were Vikram who is Ram's true friend and Ram's reaction to Priya's arrival. I loved those moments, but the rest of it is ...😔 And I agree with the point that Nuts is not all that she seems...

I don't understand the need for mistaken identity drama here...is this to show that Priya is forced to accept the rishta which otherwise she would not have done easily? Surely there are better ways to bring this about than the bride confusion!

I quite liked the way Ayesha reacted...at least she knows her priorities and is wiling to say it out loud...but the point is, was this drama necessary? 😒 That fight between Priya and her mom -- it left me with a bad feeling somehow...I read the comments here and can understand the feelings, but I cannot like it somehow! 😕

Maybe this is just to create a foundation for a negative sister later on in case something like this is needed for TRP sake! It is open-ended enough to be interpreted either way later on...Ayesha could accept the fact that her sister is going to marry Ram with grace now and then later turn negative if the need arose OR she could take it badly right now (which I hope she does not!) OR she could pretend to accept with grace and plot revenge! The story can be twisted anyway the CVs want later on!

Somehow the flavor of last 2 weeks is not there this week...at least not in the last 2 episodes!

👏 Great analysis of the today's show.Was also expecting the same O same O stuff but turned out to be a nice episode...

The fights and yelling felt very real and it happens in families so didn't get the feeling of the usual artificial soap catfight.

Have u observed how Priya is the apple of her father's eye and Ayesha her mothers? Sudhir pounced on Shipra rather than Priya when the emotions were running high btwn Mother and daughter.

Ayesha shocked me when she said she's ready to give up her dreams to marry Prince Charming. 20 years her senior ... .She's not living in the Elizabethan era to get married to a rich guy... Ayesha has drop dead gorgeous looks and I'm sure any rich guy can marry her and give her what she desires. Being a model can get u a lot of dough so she can buy anything she needs under the sun... Time and again younger women latch on to rich older father figures only to regret later. Wealth only satisfies momentarily but the companionship one is seeking from the elderly guy would remain elusive.(Thought of Anna Nicole Smith) Take Ram's father's example. Ram and Niharika are closer in age . Ram's father passed away but she's still young alive , and kicking.

The look on Priya's face and her becoming an icy cold statue scene was mindblowing. Can surely identify with her. Ayesha pulled the rug under her feet .Priya in her wildest dreams could never have fathomed this, the little sis who she looked after would deal her this earth shattering blow.

Ram, seriously u are scared of Priya and the expression on your face was worth watching... when she walked in ...

Ram and Priya remind me of Bathsheba and Gabriel Oaks in Thomas Hardy's "Far from the Madding Crowd" Both of them were exposed to each other's negative traits rather than the gushy romantic drooling . I'm pretty sure their union would be so strong that floods cannot drown them

So, I liked the first part of the episode, because if nothing else it proved the mettle of the actress playing Ayesha. I liked the way in which Priya refused to let her mother hug her, and told her that they cannot afford to let Ayesha's dreams go to waste - indirectly telling her that it would only cause Shipra to resent her too. I liked how, when Shipra said to Priya "who are you to make this decision?", she didn't go all Ekta heroine and start crying and saying things like "Who am I? How can you say such a thing? Boo hoo :(" etc etc. I liked that she has the strength to stick to her convictions and fight, even against her own mother, for her family. I liked that scene was mostly about two sisters with opposing views to the world, but with an invisible thread that ties them together like an umbilical cord.

The ENTIRE Sharma parivaar ke kids get married into the Kapoor clan?😕😆

Dude that creepy mama seriously is CREEPY! I mean he just has that reptile wala look to his face.. 😳 I kid you not! With the huge bags around his eyes and the mean-ish look.. I don't know man.. Waise bhi usko Ram ko sooch pehley sey hi ajeeb lagti hai and to find out k Ram jee shaadi ussey kar na chahte hain (or rather his mom wants him to marry her) and not her 22 years ki bachi sister.. Lol! I just hope k we get a good entertaining conversation/confrontation between RP from this.. Don't much care for the rest of the chillar party's tamasha!

Too lazy. 😛 I don't really have much else to say about this episode. I'm quite enjoying reading you and Fivr's posts though. 😛 Just waiting for Priya's reactions tomorrow I guess. However lame this situation might be and it's repercussions later on...you know as you guys are discussing with the sis/jeeju track...🤢...I just want to see Priya and Ram's reactions. 😆 I hope I can amuse myself enough with those in tomorrow's episode. Good writeup...only thing I am curious about is to see Priya's and Shipra's reactions when they realize Priya was the intended bride and Ram's reaction if he finds out that the Sharma's thought his proposal was for the 22 year old Aysha and the Sharmas were even ok with that!

Love your post! I liked how the argument in both places was nicely presented. At Ram's place they were trying to convince him to marry Priya, and at her place they were discussing about Ayesha, so while I did initially hate the idea of confusion - I do feel that it was presented really well. I can't wait to watch tomorrow's episode to check out Priya's reaction. We can all anticipate a lecture. I wish they would change the actor playing Nuts though. Her eyes don't express anything. No offense if she has fans, but it is like watching a robot that can speak, but can't emote well. I hope she realizes that herself and works on that.
