Aastha tells shubh that rani is behind all that has been happening to her. Shubh fires rani. Aastha gets a gift the next morning which has a knife in it. Aastha is shocked and runs down the stairs only to trip off thread tied across the staircase by shubh. Shubh is hoping this will be the end of aastha but mrs sharma saves astha and takes her to the hospital. Rani again attempts to end aastha's life in the hospital by medling with the oxygen machine. The inspector comes to the hospital and insists on meeting astha. When they enter they are shocked to see astha is missing. Shubh gets a call from someone who says he knows what shubh has done. shubh is shocked.

Shubh goes home only to get a DVD which shows astha being treated in some other hospital. The kidnapper threatens to reveal shubh's intentions to astha. The inspector informs shubh that the calls made to him are from a number which is under his own name but the call is being made from the same vicinity. Shubh is shocked. They are unable to trace the number. Shubh returns home and is shocked to see Anushka, Pratham and Deepa there. They inform him that they got a call saying astha's life is in danger but astha is resting inside and what joke is this. Shubh rushes inside to find aastha in the house. When the inspector asks her who is behind all this she points a finger at shubh. All shocked.

Astha reveals to everyone that the kidnapper told her shubh is behind all this. Shubh pretends to be hurt. Astha reassures him that she does not believe a single word of that and is sure that someone is trying to sabotage her and shubh's relationship. In the night shubh decides enough is enough and tells rani that he has to end astha's life that night but then he hears some piano music in swayam's room..but rani cant hear it. Shubh is shocked to see no one in the room. Shubh drives to the police station to inform the police but someone calls him and says that if he comes below 40kph then the car will explode.

Shubh has to apply the brake when he sees a truck parked in the middle of the road but to his surprise the car does not explode. He realises its a hoax. he goes home and gives astha sleeping pills and takes her to the river. Shubh throws her in the river and waits till astha drowns. someone comes and saves astha.
