Yeah, I noticed that. I know that every parent loves his/her child, but in this serial, the Chauhans were obsessed about Bharti, treated her like a kid throughout and indulged her to no limit. I'm surprised that she turned out like she did (I would have expected her to be as spoiled as Yuvraj in RS) I wasn't @ all impressed by how Amit's well being was ignored. Had Prakash released just Bharti unconditionally and taken Amit, I daresay Rupesh & Dhara wouldn't have batted an eyelid.

I never had a high opinion of Rupesh - the start of the serial was him parading his riches b4 Bharti's suitors. While he doesn't deserve to die, somehow, for me, he won't be missed. I don't think either Sudha nor Amit will turn negative - Sudha had already decided to 'return' Murli to Bharti, like he's some doll or jewelry. In fact, after what Mridang did, I doubt that even Gau's plots will continue. So I think the serial probably has just a week left, and after that, they'll just take it off air.

i m also puzzled at the turn of the story but no where it is mentioned that show wud go off air. the plot was strangely weakend in the beginning only. ya i had lost interest when i kept seeing rupesh show off his wealth to sort of get rid of his defective piece. ( sorry for the words but thats how it has turned out)

i had mentioned in one of kiran's update money doesnt buy happiness
see where it landed bharti..

i still feel in this high drama of chase kidnaps etc why didnt prakash or his ff reveal abt mridang and gaushala part..

so some surprising twist seems to be there. and strange jhumki has vanished

Okay, so Rupesh is taken to the OT and is struggling for life, w/ his pulse rate decreasing. During it, he gets flashback of the first episodes when he was trying to marry off Bharti. He regains consciousness and calls for Bharti, and the docs send Bharti in. The docs brief the families about Rupesh's condition, which is worsening, and tell them that he has very little time remaining. Everyone is freaked out, while in the OT, Rupesh tells Bharti that his time is ending. 😭 Murli enters the room, while Rupesh is on a tirade against the Gods for creating Bharti w/ such a handicap. Bharti & Rupesh have a lengthy conversation about rishtas and all that 🤔

Dhara and the others then decide to enter the OT room, and she tells Rupesh that she'll move him to a better hospital, or even take him abroad. Rupesh apologizes to her for breaking his promise to spend her entire life w/ her (I thought the promise is to spend one's own entire life w/ the spouse, not the spouse's entire life, and for this very reason 🤔) He tells Dhara that from now on, Bharti is her responsibility alone, and he is not @ peace since he couldn't give Bharti everything. Bharti tells him not to say that, while Rupesh asks who will be the support for his daughter? Murli steps forwards and promises him that Bharti is from now on his responsibility, and Rupesh is happy. (They don't show him dying, but presumably, he did. Or maybe they'll show some more Monday b4 he passes away)

Comments: I found it a bit surprising that the docs told the family that they had failed even b4 the patient died. I was under the impression that usually docs do what they can, and only after the patient has succumbed do they break the news. I accept that Dhara was crazed w/ grief, but the reaction of the entire Lal family was somewhat irrational. I found Rupesh's bhashan about the injustice of the gods pretty self-serving - couldn't he have found a better thing to spend his last moments on? I also wish that Amit too had offered to support Bharti, so that she could have had a choice, rather than be passed back to the guy who let her down.

i missed the beginning
what happend to prakash after he fired

and abt rupesh atleast he has realised where he was wrong but he is telling all this that as a father he did all to keep his daughter happy bt he was wrong in his moves.

and worrying abt his daughter who can now take on her life on her own now he made her dependent again

murli was expected to step up and promise to take care

but still i m confused.

what next in story and as u said vrish nothing is left so the story might go off air in a week or so.

amit has been left stranded just like that.

and jhumki vanished again..

^^^ Prakash was going to fire some more, but the cop whose gun he stole had his other men overpower him, and escort him out. Now, he'll go down for murder, and I'd be surprised if he doesn't drag Mridala down w/ himself.

I hated the episode, not just b'cos of Rupesh dying, but b'cos of how he was so full of Bharti, Bharti, Bharti. I'm not sure that Bharti can't stand on her own 2 feet, but if she can't, it's b'cos of him. Yeah, granted she needed him when Murli and she split, but I just don't like how the story has forced them to come back together, regardless of what happened b/w them.

I think they'll forget about the needs of Amit and Sudha, and Jhumka has totally left the scene - even Sudha & Amit were there to help.

Don't think there's much left in this serial. Maybe they can be true to the USP about the plight of midgets by having Amit marrying either Veena or Sudha. Other than that, after Rupesh's funeral, they can just wind things up.

haha vrish thats how the story began
bharti this bharti that

always pampering her to cover her disablity of being a normal height person.

u know vrish there is a saying in our family

if a person has a large amount of wealth he has atleast one defective or faulty piece in his own family

and it has been right so far in rupesh family

his daughter is midget so he has been pampering her with wealth and tried to buy her happiness but in the end it has caused her nothing but misery

bt since its a story and murli is lead mayb cvs r trying to tell he can be forgiven since he is not bad at heart and haalat ka maara this that. and reunite bharti and murli.

and amit sudha and veena wud just be out of scene and mayb mridang and gaushala just may say sorry for the deeds and then the end

cant think where it wud go unless some new twist in story is there

or if bharti doesnt unite with murli then she wud prove she can be independent and take care of her mom and herself too and unite murli with sudha

amit wud remain a friend only

After Murli promises him that he'll take care of Bharti, Rupesh says that he can die in peace, and then tells Bharti that he'll always be w/ her, and then he dies. Everyone in the room is crazed w/ grief, and call the doctor, and he examines him and pronounces him dead. Bharti sees a ghost of him waving goodbye.

The body is taken home, and all the mourners are there. Murli, Mridang & Dumroo prepare it for the funeral, and while they do, Bharti gets flashbacks of her father and various things they did when she was a kid. Throughout the funeral, she recollects an occasion when he left for Devgarh. Everybody pays their last respects to Rupesh, and Kamala & Veena comfort Dhara while Bansi comforts Bhushan. Murli recollects his promise to take care of Bharti as he pays his respects, and asks Rupesh's forgiveness for all the times he's ever hurt him.

Finally, the priest asks everyone to take the body for the cremation, and Bharti gets the flashback of her father leaving on one of those trips. As the body is taken out, she imagines her father turning back and bidding her farewell 😭

Comments: A filler episode - an entire episode on just the funeral, and that too not including the cremation. The flashbacks were nice and the child Bharti looked cute, except for her voice - she still had that adult voice. Bansi's entire family - including Gau - were genuinely mourning, as were Amit & Sudha.

emotional epi 😭
bharti's reactions were perfectly portrayed 👍🏼 ..... normally they show the bereaved as crying lot and lot but in reality one reacts as how bharti reacted reminiscing everything 😭 and cry for all their life .....
but it was a drag epi...they could have showed cremation also and ended it...

yet there was one funny thing in the episode ..bharti had spent all her life with rupesh but all her recollected events belonged to the same day as if that is the only one day she lived with her dad 😆😆😆😆😆😆

Rupesh is taken to the burning ghat, and Bhushan is asked to cremate him, but just can't. Murli then goes ahead and does it, and Bhushan is comforted by Mridang. Everybody leaves, but Murli & Bharti remain near the burning corpse.

Bharti, Dhara, Bhushan & Amit return home. Plenty of rhona-dhonas. Dhara tells Bharti that she won't be able to live long w/o her father, but Bharti shows her the example of Amit, who's been living along despite having no family of his own. Dhara tells her that Amit is a guy and Bharti is a gal. Bharti reminds her of how she'd tell her that there are no differences b/w the genders, and so there were no reasons that they'd not be able to live independently. She then gives her mom some bhashans about her dad's leaving them.

At Murli's place, the entire family, and Sudha, are worried about how Bharti will adjust to her father's death. Bansi praises Murli for promising Lalaji that he'll take care of her, and lightening his burden. Murli tells him that they'd never be able to repay their debt to Lalaji: he sacrificed his life to save Murli's. Anything he did would be inadequate. Bansi tells Dhara to make something to take for the Chauhans, since they won't be making anything @ home for 3 days. Next day, Bansi's entire family comes to see the Lals, and Murli tells Kamala that they are eternally indebted to Rupesh, and not to hesitate to ask him whenever she needs something. They all get the breakfast ready, and Kamala feeds Dhara, while Murli feeds Bharti.

A few days later, Rupesh's lawyer visits the family - both Chauhans and Lals are there. The lawyer tells them that he's there to read them Rupesh's will. Murli tells Dhara that they'll leave, but Dhara stops him and so does the lawyer. The lawyer tells Murli that he has to be present when the will is being read. He then reads out the will, where he names Bhushan the COO (Chief Operating Officer) of Bharti Industries, until such time that he names a successor. Dhara is named the owner of his property and assets. All his earnings to date go to Bharti, while as for the business that he started w/ Murli, since most of it was Murli's work, he gives Murli 50% share. Murli is shocked, and objects to receiving anything, saying that money was the cause of previous bad blood b/w them, and so he can't take any of this now. He tells them that he doesn't agree to accept any of this, and walks out.

Comments: It was nice seeing Murli's entire family be supportive of Dhara & Bharti. As for the will, I agree w/ Murli this time, and regardless of whether he 'marries' Bharti or not, I hope he sticks to his position. He can tell them that by taking this house, he's already taken a good share of his 50%, and leave the balance of his share w/ Dhara. I didn't like the look on Mridala's faces - hope they don't try to add to any of the damage they've done to date. Although if Murli does accept, it solves the problem he has of a livelihood, although I'd like to see him succeed in his tent-house business.

Only thing - I wish Rupesh had put aside something for Amit as well, even though he's not family: he too had done a lot for them, like Bhushan did. Also, I was surprised @ Rupesh leaving any property to Dhara - I thought that they had nothing and were guests @ Bhushan's place.
