The character sketch is BRILLIANT and what is the best part is the actor is carrying it out in a terrific manner! The simplicity along with artistic touch, the immaturity of a mature person...handled SO well!

A hot headed man, yet not as stereotypical, instead REAL!
He isn't someone whom I liked at the first sight, nor did I hate him but his love for theater made me introspect and I started admiring him even if a bit.

Well, the day I started respecting him was the Riot day! Not because he was there for Yamini, any other responsible man would do that. I liked him because when Raghavendra spat wrong accuses one him, humiliated him, even then he did not behave in a Tit for Tat manner or egoistic manner with Mini. Instead he tried to ponder upon the fact that Mini didn't react and he felt his duty to make this dead girl LIVE!
Coming to Shakuntala, Mini needed a boost but he indeed did it for Mini as he thought everyone should know how to live and fight for themselves. So it wasn't just for the sake of play, nor will I call it affection back then, but signs of a Real MAN!
He is flawed and the best thing is that the back story doesn't say that accept his flaws because of his past! This is tremendous or else we viewers are expected to forgive the unacceptable behavior of the Male leads just because of their pasts. He tries the best to not allow his past affect his present. I don't count her past Love life when I say this, as I am sure if he is trying to stay away from that emotion, he must have been broken in fact shattered, but that doesn't make him behave in an improper manner with strangers.
He is stubborn and as Mini as Sadu, adu, Karu...karele ki tarah! He indeed is all of that but he doesn't go about hurting every single person like the angry young men in the television!
When Mini wasn't able to act the Sadhu-Shakuntala role well, I loved how he faked anger, making her cry and finally she could do as he wanted. It reminded me of my Best friend and my dad. That day my respect for him knew no bounds.

Then the soya bean task. Uff man! I was actually infuriated when Nikumbh asked Mini to have non veg, I was like..."This show is getting ruined, WIll I have to quit it too?" But the next minute I was like..Nilexsh Sis, take a bow! Absolute heart touching.

Finally, the way he handles his anger! I was not expecting such a well thought and composed reaction when
a) Raghavendra humiliated Nikumbh and brought his Father in between.
b) Raghavendra sabotaged the banner.
In Mini's house he handled the situation just TOO well. Respect!
So briefing it up...My love for arts makes my love and Respect for Nikumbh multiply. I just can say One thing...this man has a spell on me!
