Exactly! I love that there are these surprising traits to him...he's not a walking CLICHE...not a cliched cynic, not a cliched "bad boy", not a cliched "goody goody guy", not a cliched brooder...He's a cynic, he's got a chip on his shoulder, he's got a temper but then there are these other traits to him that are surprisingly pleasant and easygoing...such a well sketched multi-layered personality that makes for compelling viewing...moments like these pleasantly surprise me...and that is hard to come by in most shows.
