Things I liked: 25th June

Today's epi was slightly more on the build-up side but there were still some sweet scenes :-)


1) That creepy guy chasing Yamini did turn out to be someone who recognized her as a star only...and Yamini managed to stand up for herself under pressure again...even SLAPPED the guy😲😆...and then managed to pretend like she isn't Yamini but someone else who looks like her😆...and Nikumb managed to show up in time to support her on that...LOL@ how easy it was to convince the old chacha that she wasn't Yamini and him saying he's seen the real Yamini from 2 feet away😆


2) Yamini happily telling Nikumb how she managed to get the ring and she looked so proud of herself for refusing to give up and standing her ground...sweet moment when Nikumb asked her wasn't she scared even for a bit and she innocently blurts out that she wasn't scared cuz she knew he was with her😆...nice scene with the Baawre song playing in the bg :-)


3) Nikumb telling Azam later on that he also doubted Yamini would be able to pull this off but the GLOW on her face when she managed to succeed made him really happy too...and Azam as always teasing him about it😆


4) NM pointing out that the change in Yamini is becoming more noticeable now as she opens up and it's only a matter of time before Raghu notices that he's losing his iron control over her.


5) Nikumb-Yamini's convo later on in the haveli...it seems Nikumb deliberately told the rest of the group to come in late so he can talk to Yamini?😆...and this time he tries to get her to talk about why she doesn't own her own phone...I liked how he got her to talk even though she was initially hesitant to reveal the reason...and as expected once she revealed it, the reason turned out to be her father's controlling nature...Nikumb was watching her closely again as she repeated her blind mantra of "My father knows what's best for me"...and that gave Nikumb the idea for her next task


6) LOL@ Nikumb deliberately planting a phone in her purse and then calling her on it😆...only to inform her that THIS is her second task and hanging up on her abruptly🤣...leaving poor Yamini to scramble to explain to her father why she has a mobile phone despite his strict refusal to give her one.


Will Yamini manage to stand up to Raghu tomorrow? I have serious doubts😆...but atleast Nikumb is giving her CHANCES to stand up for herself or else she'd have given up after that small attempt she made to talk to her father on the phone about the issue...I notice a growing restlessness in Yamini too as she's now gotten the taste of independence and is loving it if her conversation with her Daddo was anything to go by...so it is becoming tougher for Yamini to retreat back into the mousy shell she's been used to all these years.

He's applying the swimming principle on her...the one where you just throw a person into the deep end of a pool directly and let them struggle for SURVIVAL first...helps them get over their fear of drowning and then swimming is a piece of cake after that😆

Wont be able to watch it till 4 but thx for the awesome analysis now cant wait to watch it. The show has turned out to be more interesting and good to have so many lighter moments. :)

Turns out my apprehensions really WERE baseless. Yaha toh Yamini ne thappad hi maar diya! I most definitely did not expect Nikumbh and Yamini to end up trying to convince people that she is Shakuntala! Character mein kuchh zyada hi nahi ghus gayi? 🤣 Yaha toh play baaki hai! And the chacha being so confident that it couldn't be Yamini. Kyunki unko toh unhone do feet ki duri se dekha hai! 🤣

I loved today's episode for some reason. I really love Nikumbh's thought process or maybe just the way he has been presented because though you cannot really guess what he is going to do, his actions aren't exactly unpredictable or shocking. It all somehow plays out with his character and is justified each and every time. He has this intriguing way to express or comprehend things that probably comes from his theater passion.

That glow in her face. I felt so happy, just like Nikumbh. She does not smile so much openly, does she? Like pure wali smile! That smile of happiness at having achieved something that she thought she could not achieve. She proved herself wrong, more than anything. And I love it when they play the bg score. I love the song. It was cute when she blurted out that sudden confession. And Nikumbh's surprised smile in return. So spontaneous, and thank goodness she did not try and cover it up with something awkward. Cute.

And I toh love Nikumbh-Azam interactions. They are always light hearted, so realistic, full of humor and they become a zariya for Nikumbh's POV to come across. And I love how he always shrugs it off casually when Azam gets down to teasing him about Yamini. He never gets into a serious, thinking mode. Of course, at this moment he has no reason to. But I like this casualness in general. And in return, Azam happily ignores all his warnings with respect to Shaheen. 😆

And the last scene. That was Nikumbh's phone, right? Ajeeb ladka hai! But at least his methods are somewhat forcing Yamini to open up. React. And in a way she does not usually. I can't wait to see how Yamini is going to tackle this situation. Her father seemed furious and he seems to me too thick-brained to understand anything. Nahi toh kaha ka logic hai ki apni grown up beti ko ek phone tak na dena?! The father is beyond me!

Yamini is obviously and rightfully enjoying this change. The way she was talking to the insurance person on the phone... It was like she was just having the time of her life snapping at someone on the other end of the line. Hah! 😆

Yes, I also like that they aren't as conscious as of now...Yamini blurted out that bit about him being there for her but they didn't scramble to cover up even as they looked away...and yes Nikumb doesn't react much to Azam's teasing, simply changed the topic 😆...right now there really isn't any reason to...but I do like how he honestly expresses everything to Azam about whatever intrigues him vis a vis Yamini's reactions

That was Nikumb's phone he gave her? LOL I didn't realize...yeah I guess it must be...yeah Yamini was definitely enjoying the changes in her and it showed in the phone call with the insurance guy...she's gaining confidence in herself which is why Nikumb is pushing her more than ever by throwing her into test number 2 regarding the phone...there is no point beating around the bush and letting this hang...Nikumb is khuraafaati as Mr. Misra explained two epis back😆

I love the title song playing in the bg too...always elevates the Nikumb-Yamini moments :-)

The first scene 😆 and the chachas Yamini singh ko maine aise 2 foot ki duri pe dekha hain. Ye Yaminiji nahi hai. 🤣 She does react very uncharacteristically when she is under pressure which shocks everybody including herself. 😆 Nobody recognises her!! The satisfaction and happiness on her face was so visible.She had sucessfully bargained and got the ring all by herself and also slapped a guy 😆 The scene flows so nicely to the moment when she just says that I was not scared at all as i know you were there and bawre plays 😳

The value of independence is best known to a person who has never had it. Yamini has already started enjoying this moments of independence. YM says correctly that Raghu will notice that his control over his daughter has started to loosen.

NA has to share everything 😆 Azam keeps on poking Nikumb till he gets his answers. He is more interested in the tasks it seems. I enjoyed the BG music that played during Shaheen Azam scene. Bechara Azam 😆
Nikumb calls Yamini early so that he can know more about her and set the task accordingly.He really does use different techniques to draw her out.lol. The exact moment when he realises what is to be her next task was so hilarious. He immediately changes it to next scene ki taiyari karo.

Precap:I dont know how she is going to come out of this one. Raghu is really furious. Twice she has managed to bluff her way out. Lets see what she does in this situation.
