I mean she's a medical student and all...and shravan is...well, nowhere close to that. he seems very irresponsible and careless...i mean if we think practically and not in the soap opera style, then is she wrong to reject this "chanchal"? Even saanchi, i think is very much more responsible than him, but i was looking at shravan thru. tara's eyes...If i'm a med student i wouldn't want to marry a guy who throws tantrums like a baby! and not to forget his family that includes mahadadi, a sasur jee that's a replica of hitler, and a jealous bhabhi like nita! Besides, shravan doesn't even work!! can u imagine! if u r a med student would u marry a guy like shravan? I must say this though: Barun has done complete justice to the character of shravan. he's great! so is ankita as saanchi!

ok guys, what would u do if u were tara? reject or accept shravan? 😉

I never thought Tara was wrong in her actions and how she told Shravan to wait a year. If she isn't ready to be married then I see nothing wrong with her wanting to wait instead of rushing into something she doesn't yet want. If she wants to complete her education and have a career first then thats great! Not everyone wants to get married right away lol.

yep i agree tara was completely right in saying no to shravan......
because
career is important and tara is very determined
tara obviously doesn't love shravan or would have been more upset at the fact that his rishta is being done to someone else

she doen't have enough time for him
and i don't think she should waste her time on someone like shravan who obviously needs a nanny rather than a wife

Tara is not wrong. But I expect that if Shravan talks to her about marriage and she is not interested in marrying Shravan, then she should tell a very clear "no".

I really agree with you. This is something me and my mom talk about a lot while watching the show. She always says that a girl as serious and goal-oriented as Tara should not waste her time with someone like Shravan. And she's right, IMO. Tara has planned her life, she's got ambitions she wants to see fulfilled. If she gets with Shravan, he'll just drag her down.

I would mention here one thing which I find very unfair. It is related not only to BHPH. Rather, it is generic.
It is often shown in various movies and TV serials that if he a guy loves a girl and expresses his love, then if the girl gets angry and becomes offensive with him, makes fun of him, shouts at him or, in some cases, even slaps him, then it is often considered OK. It is shown that after all it is her life.
On the other hand, if a girl proposes her love to a guy, then no matter how many problems the guy finds in the girl, if he makes fun of her, then he is criticized. It is said that even if he did not love her, he should have respected her love for him.
Really unfair. 😭

Totally agree with you!

Tara is in every way right to reject Shravan! Had Saachi known that this guy was such a baby, lol it would have been better if she had rejected him after facing those 25 rejections!😆

anyhow coming back to the topic, Tara is someone who represents the modern, career focused women of today. Don't think women like her would ever be happy to settle for a guy like shravan who's just some rich lazy brat with no significant degree in hand.😳 Actually a guy like him would bring her standard down...she's a to-be-doctor and her husband goofs around and plays a friggin' PSP😳 and has no work ethic?!

Tara obviously doesn't love shravan, otherwise she would have been quite affected when Shravan told her that his wedding was fixed with Saachi and she would have heard of the graaaaaaaaaand wedding in town too, of course!
Tara is practical and hopefully they'll keep her that way. does the third angle in the triangle have to be "evil manipulating" person? Absofreakinlutely NO!

P.S. yeah both barun and ankita are doing great job at portraying their respective characters😃

By reading the opinions here , I feel modern grls are very calculative in love . They will not love a guy who cannot earn loads of money or is not doing very well in profession. So actually that translate to not loving the guy but his profession and money .Parents especially "brown parents" instill this attitude in their girl kids .

As i have mentioned before true love does not do account keeping , it just loves . Money is not everything in life. There are many things in life which cannot be bought by money - one example is happiness.
Coming back to Tara's theme. My personal opinion is Tara should reject Shravan if she doesnt love him . But if she loves him, med or no med , she should try to be with Shravan.

lol don't know how to comment on your first comment......i'm way too young to think of that part right now. lol right now graduating high school and getting in to a good school is my goal😆

coming to second comment that i know how to reply---Yeah tara basically let poor baby hanging with her "wait for a year" answer. She said she "likes" him...and Shravan took it for her "loving" him (which i don't blame him, when people are in love, they take it that way i guess). I think tara want a transformed and grown up Shravan...but she doesn't have time and intention in "changing" him like how saachi is doing. Watch out for her coming back again after transformation.......😆 oh! the typical third angles in indian soaps!😆 But i wish they don't make her that stereotypical third angle who comes back to get the readymade finished product for whom Saachi worked on so hard!
