It was said that Krishna married to laxmana through swaymmar

And it was told that laxmana was daughter of duryodhan

So duryodhan was father in law of Lord Krishna ?

Or there is two laxmana in Mahabharata ?

Lot of things are confusing

When did Arjun fix Abhimanyu's marriage with Uttara?

At the end of their Agyatavasa, right before the battle.

Two Lakshmanaas. 😳

Krishna ki Lakshmanaa was Madra/Gandhar (??) ki princess.

And Dury's daughter Lakshmanaa was married to Krishna and Jambavati's son Samba, after he failed to kidnap her and got kidnapped by Dury instead (Balarama went and saved him and got the marriage done).

Krishna ki Lakshmana was Gandhaar/Madra princess? This is a news!

Also Samb marrying Dury's daughter is mentioned in Bhagwat Puran and not in Mahabharata itself. Although this makes sense that Duryodhan reaches out to Krishna asking for support in the war since he was also a relative as Arjun was

I always had felt as to how he could equate the relation of first cousins to that of half cousin of first cousins. But if they were Samdhis then that relation is equal to that of first cousins

The Kuru and Yadavas had a lot of ties! 😆

Kunti-Pandu (MB)

Subhadra-Arjun (MB)

Samba-Lakshmanaa (Srimad Bhagavatham)

Abhimanyu-Surekha (folklore, Balarama's daughter)

Suthanu-one of Krishna's sons (I forgot, and possibly folklore)

Everyone was everyone's samdhi at that point. 😆

@bold is from Wiki. Please check their marriage wala chapter in SB. 😆

Rather, if Krishna wanted he could have forced Dury to join Yadavas (and basically fight against himself) by citing the Ladki-waale argument. But then, he probably let it go kyunki Dury had spared Samba's life in that fiasco and he felt kinda indebted? 🤔

Suthanu and Krishna's son Bhanu is in Harivamsa, not folklore

Bhagwat Purana and SB are similar and that's what I said that it's not mentioned in epic but in secondary sources.

Second point is worth pondering, but I don't think Dury would have accepted that order. And Samb did love Lakshmana so I don't even think he would have tortured Lakshmana for the sins of Duryodhan

However it's so interesting that Gandhari's curse came true through the husband of her grand daughter

After Krishna's death, the text says Pandavas ruled for 36 years. Funny thing is when they leave, they assign Kripa to teach Parikshit his basic education. Really? A thirty-six year old man? And why Yuyustu as regent? Parikshit was old enough at that time. Not only that all of Yudhishtira's instructions are given to Subhadra, not Parikshit.

I think the 36 years was 36 months.
