just copy and paste as a new layer on the sig

then duplicate the base layer [ the sig] and drag to the tops of the layer pallete and set it to spftlight

end result

first you select the picture so the marching ants are around the person/thing..then make a new image with a solid white backround, copy the picture & paste it into the white selection, go Selection>Modify>Expand & any number from 5-10 is reasonable & copy & past that wherver you want it.
