Konpal, how do you use this effect the sparks one? I have the sparks gif, but could not use.

1. open both the GIF, sparks and base one.

2. Copy all frames of base GIF

3. copy the frames of sparks GIF, and paste it over the base one (paste over the selection)

4. Put it to screen/lighten.

It will be done =)

that doesn't matter. if the base GIF have less frames, copy the same no of sparks GIF frames.

and if the base GIF have greater no of frames,, then after pasting the sparks GIF frames on the base gif, select the frames which doesnot have sparks GIF and paste the frames. do till all the frames are covered and delete the spark GIF frames which doesnt have base GIF =D
