How do you convert the gif group to small object? You mean 'convert to smart object?' Also, when I switch to 'convert to timeline' mode, perform the actions (smart filters or coloring or any such adjustments) and go to 'save for web' option, my gif doesn't move. It stays still somehow and even if I try convert the video timeline back to frame timeline, my gif doesn't move.

Have everything finished. Group your layers. Convert to timeline. Apply action. Save For Web.

Now that I have already broken my head enough over this, I might as well give this one a try too. 😆

Give it a try. It works for me at least. Even I faced problem with that static gif lol... I tried the above method but I find it time consuming thought it isn't..😆 So,I skip applying any sorts of action.

My formula for non-grainy gifs is restrict colors by applying own PSDs and using textures. You create such beautiful PSDs. Why don't you use them on the gifs?

Even without any other adjustment layers (only curves and levels), this is the result. IDK whether to laugh or cry. 😳

@Husna - Lolz Im no way near your creativity. 😕 That gif was once in a blue moon type. 😆 Waise if u are sure about kidnapping Aheli, Ill gladly join u. I miss her thoughl! 😭

I feel its better if u group the layers before making any other adjustments. About the gif remaining static, do remember to select all frames, before clicking on the group(layers) and converting to video timeline option. After that apply action filters and after that SFW. For HQ, its helps that frames stay limited to below 40 or 45. And the frame delay may also play some role, idk. 😆 In a way, we should be proud how we can break our heads over this and still end up getting it right, without a professional guide. I get messages from my friends who are taking courses on adobe and asking me how to go through the app. 😆😆

Gave it a try. You can see the result above. 😆

My issue is not being able to color the gifs by myself. I can color it subtly and keep the colors to a minimum. My issue is no matter what I do or what measures I take to control the quality of gifs, they always get degraded upon saving.

I miss her too. I really think she should start an academy of her own and teach people PS. I'd be the first one to join. 😆

Okay, I'll keep that in mind as well. But all of this will serve no purpose as my gifs get degraded upon saving no matter what I do. I know right? People taking adobe courses professionally break their heads too and we do it without any guidance. I have been breaking my head over this issue for days together now and friends are asking me as to how do I have so much patience? And i'm like, idk, maybe I'm made of grease. 🤣

@Husna - Ill be the second in line, waise I have stopped calling her genius bcos that is an understatement. 😉 Even I got asked how I am able to patiently edit many times and on top of it, teach people again and again. 😆 Trust me even Im surprised Im this patient. I guess the creativity in us make us that way. 😆 Otherwise Im the least patient person on earth. I believe Im suffering from MPD. Im someone else when Im on that photoshop. 😈🤣

^^ DUDE NO. The first gif is as good as it could get. The coloring and texture infact, work wonders for the gif. It is amazing, no doubt. Yes, I'll agree about the second and third gif though. I'm not quite patient by nature too 😳 but when it comes to PS and I want something done means I want it done. I don't give up unless I'm truly tired of it. 😈😆 Although, given the progress of this work, I think I will give up on gifs sooner or later.
