As for rose petal effect, I don't think it's an effect in the signature.. it seems to be actually in Aishwarya's pictures, but you could try using a rose petal texture like this one and erase some parts of it to give your graphic that 'effect' :)

Maybe it's due to size and you have ran out of the shapes you can create on the canvas? This video might help you. Not sure about this particular area.
