Want another help!

I want some textures like the one used in the above sig! I know it can be done using brushes, can someone tell me what are these type of brushes called?

The default brushes in my PS are not letting me do something like this, they are making the sig look ugly!

Okay you can got the same effect with the mask thing too.

what you have to do is to put a mask on your siggy and then with a soft brush, opacity between 30-50 and color of the brush black go on the areas of the siggy that you want fade or hide once done put a tuxture on top of it in lightened or screen mode, you can delete parts of the texture with the eraser.

you can decide to delete with the default eraser or select a particular brush as a eraser, put the opacity between 50-70 and it will give you a nice effect.

P.S. While doing so your mask should be selected, you have to work on the mask not on the siggy itself.
