Ana_Taarey wanted a tut on the use of paint splatter brush as eraser on siggies...heres one...im not good with tuts so keep a look at the screenshots.

this is the brush set im using..load the brushes in your PS/IR or PSP(load as .png...you'll need ABR viewer)

on deviant art/tumblr you can find different types of it.
STEP1: make your siggy and when satisfied with the settings merge the layers.

STEP2: apply your PSD.

STEP3: create a "New Layer" either above the PSD

below the PSD or

in between the PSD layers

this positioning is done so the the color you will fill have some more definite range which a normal chromatic may not have.

my layer is below PSD.

STEP4:Now select a color that suits the look of your siggy..im using a light peach shade.

use "Paint Bucket tool" and fill the layer.

the color in the layer is shaded and some degrees lighter and shiner than the original because the PSD adds some effect to it.(reason to place it below)

STEP5:now select "eraser tool"

above in the tool bar choose the brush shape, mode:paintbrush , opacity:100%

you can rotate n re-size the brush to suit your siggy's size.

STEP6:now position the eraser over the fill layer and apply the eraser.

as the one im using is smaller than my siggy im going to apply it randomly over my siggy at least 2 to 3 times on different portions.
to make the eraser layer a little translucent you can reduce its opacity to some extent.

After your desired result is in front of you , you can add text or textures if you want.
to have a grunge look apply a grunge texture and your layer will look rugged.
When happy with your work , save the siggy.
