I was going through a psd and there was the layer duplicated 3 times ! I know how to do that but anyone know how we can add nothing nothing between the layers and make it add up together?

The option of "timeline" is not in IR. So who ever uses IR this tut ends here as you'll have to apply your blur settings on each frame separately.

a tut to how to create actions will be help you better , which unfortunately i havent tried nor do i have any external link about it.

However this is a tut on Topaz action making , maybe same can work for Blur in IR.

Its a lengthy process ,but once done and saved as an action it will be a click n ur job will be done.

For PS

STEP1: make ur avi , add ur PSD's and everything else that you normally do ,before you save ur avi as .gif.

Do not group or form a set of ur avi layers( u can group ur PSD n selective layer options but not those 20-30 or more layers of ur avi).
meaning let your layers be open


STEP2: now select all ur frames (right side corner of ur animation tab has a small triangle which brings a drop down menu and choose "Select All Frames")


the button marked I is that triangle (n that marked H is ur timeline.)

And then select all ur avi layers(no PSD or selective layer option layers or any effect layer).

To select all avi layers-right click on one of the layers and click "Select Similar Layers."
If any other layer gets selected , keep ctrl pressed start left clicking to deselect the unwanted.

POINT: link all your layers.
Also if you are using IR then "Select Similar Layers" will not be there.
So for that you either do "ctrl+click layers" to select.
or Menu bar<Layers<select linked layers.

STEP3: now in ur animation tab , right at the bottom right side theres this BUTTON http://media.tumblr.com/tumblr_m67aljS0081qj1lh8.jpg known as a "timeline",
click it to "convert to timeline animation".


STEP4: let everything be , n immediately go to Filter<convert for smart filters.
a pop up opens , click "OK" on it.

STEP5: now again go back to Filters and apply Gaussian blur to the most mildest settings and apply.
If u want to add sharpening then , Filters<sharpen<smart sharpen , and apply ur settings.

And ur done.

i didnt understood this...what are you not adding between layers? pictures that serve example?

ok so the Zoya Asad is your PSD n you want to apply it on your Kumud Saras siggy?

First have your animation box open.

Be on your PSD.
Click the small triangle n a drop down menu opens -select "Copy frame"
Go to your siggy - click the small triangle -select "paste frame".
The PSD will not be of the same size as your siggy , so hold down your cursor on the PSD n drag over the siggy. It will be applied.
Also close(click off the "eye") or remove the example pic of Zoya Asad.

Also as in the PSD there the pic has been used twice...replace that with yours n apply the same settings on the pic that the PSD maker has applied.

@Shabbo: What technique is this? I'm gonna try this on my sigs too. What was the thing that -Muskii- was asking and what exactly did you explain to her?

Was just asking why it didn't have the same effect

your are not getting the same effect because the pic in the PSD is used twice- once as background and then once in between as a "blend mode" i think.
Check what settings the 2nd pic of Zoya/Asad has.

Similarly duplicate your siggy -let ones it be your background and the duplicate on the same place as the 2nd pic in PSD n apply the similar settings.
Its just that replace Zoya/Asad with Kumud/Saras and you will have the same effect.

Generally we apply PSD's by dragging it from its place rather than pasting it over our siggies.
With only dragging the effects like "channel mixer/color balance" may get applied only on certain portions , but if you copy/paste it through frames then , now when you drag to re-size , everything is spread in proportion.
