It's mostly because of the dithering and all that stuff. Try playing around with the dithering settings and hopefully it'll work for you. :)

When you dither something, it means you're increasing its quality, but when you increase the dithering amount, the Avi is going to be pixelated. The less the dithering setting, the less pixelated it'll be and it won't look so good. So you'll have to play around with other settings too. I use these settings:
